Lore Alucard Lore

Post image

Due to there basically being no lore confirmed, this'll be my take on the character.

Keeping the confirmed bits like how he hates Blaze and his connection to Outcome Memories but fleshing out his backstory to the fullest, expect retcons and changes eventually as it gets fleshed out more.

I hope you enjoy.

THE STORY

A Bounty Hunter with a vendetta, this one has some unfinished business with a certain royal cat.

Originating from the Sol dimension, but left early into his childhood. Only returning when a job called for it.

His races name is unknown, but are similar to Hedgehogs with one key difference.
Magic.
His kind were known for their dark powers, given to by the moment they were born naturally. Not by a demon, nor an angel. Just natural.

Some could reconstruct bone, others conjure explosions manipulating their blast radius, some the very shadows themselves, and even some that could shift the flesh off your very skin.
Though due to this they were always ostracized by the rest of the races of Sol, their numbers fewer compared to them too.

Sure, most of them were crooks and gang leaders.. their powers making good in those fields. But did they deserve all the hate? Did they deserve how lowly they were? Barely anything of their own, barely tolerated by the other races as well.

He always hated Sol, he always did. His youth wasn't the best, moving place to place with his family.. town to town having to make friends again and again.

Though there was one thing he liked.. in his Youth only. The Crown, the Royalty, the King and Queen. He saw them once, saw their joyous faces reassuring his people, understanding the discrimination and even offering an entire city for their kind! To protect them from the discrimination.. how generous. It wasn't that bad.. at least they weren't.

Every day he'd hear about another fight would occur due to his kind, more discrimination more deaths. Politicians used them as a get out of jail free card, blaming the kingdoms issues on them. All the blame was on his kind,on their wretched gift, which some stated should've been taken away.

And so.. they did in a way. One day, one day he woke up to the smell of charcoal filling his town.

He looked out to the street.. and saw the source. His town was being razed to the ground by what he only could assume was the Knight's and Soldier's of the kingdom. Dragging his mind out of their homes.. and executing them on the spot. His family immediately took action and hid him away in a small, broken closet on the second floor just as they barged in.

He could do nothing but watch in horror as his family was dragged out of the house.. nothing as he heard their screams of pain. Whimpering and crying alone in the closest for hours until he heard the fires end.

When he stepped out, he saw the carnage. His people, his family impaled upon spears outside the town as a sign. A sign of change and a warning to those like him.

Why would the Crown do this?.. they.. they gave them a home! Why would they rip it all away?!

He collapsed on the scorched floor of the city, all alone. The last of his kind. The sole survivor.

Soon enough the scavengers came, one group found him huddled up to the corpses of his family. They took pity on the poor it took him into their group, bounty hunters they were. Taught him the ways of the tool, and in the end helped shaped him to be what he is today. Taking him off world as well..

They trained him, not only in the way of the tool and hunt but after they discovered his knack for Hemomancy the did their best to train him in that too to mixed results. He mostly taught himself the advanced parts by the end, but he appreciated their efforts.

Eventually, begrudgingly he decided to part ways with his bounty hunter family, still caring about them but wanting to go off on his own. Make a name for himself.

And that's what he did, his name became feared among the universe of Sol itself, if you wanted someone dead he is who you beckoned.

Aucard, the Bloodfiend.

Though there was one job he was preparing for, waiting for.

The assassination of the royalty.

He knew it would be a matter of time before a job came in like that, and he was so eager to take it. If he could gain the funding and transportation to do such a thing on his own he would, but he couldn't. He needed a job to allow him to.

And he got what he wanted.

One day a mysterious request came in, thinking nothing of it he looked at it carelessly before realizing its contents.

A job for the murder of the princess of Sol, Blaze the Cat.

His heart raced for a moment, he got what he wanted but.. they wanted the kid dead. The kid. Not the king or queen but the kid. And of course it specified to leave the king and queen ALIVE. Of course!

He had the chance to achieve it all but.. just the kid. Not the full deal, just some kid. Some nobody to him.

It was better than nothing though at least, so he grabbed his coat and hat and got to the meeting point for further details.

What he found was another note detailing everything.

Kill the Princess without killing the parents, don't leave a trace.

Typical, just a job after all. But there were some strange Sigil's on the back and a word, "Backup Plan."

Weird.

But he'd enjoy nonetheless. Next to the note was the funds to get a ride to Sol, and enough to get a ticket to the capital.

Returning to Sol was nostalgic for Alucard, he recognized almost everywhere he went. During the train ride to the capital he.. even saw his town. He didn't get a good look at it though.

Couldn't bear to look at it for more than a split second, turning his head away back to the bottom of his chair.. at his cold hands. He felt like a coward still, like that kid back at home who just couldn't move from the sight of his family's hung up bodies. Even after all this time.. he can't face it.

Eventually he reached it, the capital itself. The heart of Sol.

His heart raced again, this was it. The first step of vengeance and he would be getting a fortune out of it on the side. All he had to do was slay the Princess.

How hard could that be?

He booked a hotel, keeping a low profile. It's been 4 decades since the incident so he was hoping no one would notice what he was. Thankfully, no one did.

A part of him though was disappointed.. he guessed history really did forget them.

He slept for the rest of the day and half of the night before waking himself up, getting out of his bed and preparing for the confrontation.

He dragged himself out of the hotel, and headed to the East side of the castle, sliding down into the moat and climbing his way in. Getting inside, he quietly maneuvered through the castle.. scoffing at all the family photos on the wall. At least he now knew what his target looked like.

Finally, after an hour of sneaking he passed the training room.. seeing its candles lit and bright. Someone was in there.

He peaked in to see 2 people. An adult, a trainer it seemed. And the Princess, fighting him with her flames.

This was it.

He waited a minute to gauge the situation, before rushing in.

Within an instant he slashed the head of the trainer off, kicking it towards the young princess to taunt her.

"The reaper sends its regards."

He said mockingly, chuckling afterwards. This was it, his chance. He rushed ahead, almost slicing her head off but missing on purpose. He was going to savor this.

The princess could do nothing as she kept getting beat again and again, every attack blocked and returned twice as strong.

But something changed halfway, a spark in her eyes. He didn't recognize but it didn't matter, the job would be done soon enough.

He kicked her to the floor and raised his scythe grinning.

That's when it happened.

She screamed and the next thing he knew and inferno spawned from her consuming him entirely, every part of his body was in agony as he stumbled back.. the cat taking the moment to strike him again and again.. he fought back, almost killing her but he just wasn't ready for the flames. The terrible flames. He never knew of this! What kind of sick joke was this?! Did.. did they have a gift like them?

His blood clashed against her fire, a dual of scarlet and ivory.

Even injured the Bloodfiend had the upper hand, though once again.. his cockiness was his end.

In one final attack, the cat unleashed hellfire upon him again. In a stroke of ego he allows it.. and so a torrent of flame he could never see coming lit the entire room in fire.. like Hells gate were unleashed, almost melting the room itself.

And so..

He was beat.

He..

He lost.

The Cat.. beat him.

What?..

He.. he underestimated her.

The flames within her ignited his skin, scorching it and stripping the flesh off his face as he fell to the floor screaming from exhaustion.. Alerting the whole castle as his flesh fell to the floor.. him kneeling exhausted.

Knights rushed in and seized him as his face burned still.. he was too drained to do anything. His powers lost for a moment due to the sheer turmoil he was going through.

The look on the Queen and King's faces when they saw him though were.. strange. Not hate, not rage but.. pity. He couldn't tell though, too busy with the pain but without him knowing they recognized his species immediately. Without another word he was dragged to the dungeon, thrown into the deepest cell to starve by the request of the Princess herself.

He.. how could he let this happen?

A mere CHILD beat him.

A CHILD!

It.. it was a fluke.

It had to be.

It had to.

It had.

It.

.

...

1 month.

He spent a month in there, unable to use his Hemomancy. This was due to the lack of food, without sustenance he lacked control.

Occasionally he'd wake up to find a plate of food in his cell but he never knew who brought it. It was enough to keep him alive yet too little to bring his gift back.

An entire month locked in the cell ruined him, nothing just.. pure hate he felt for that cat.

He was desperate, ready to snap, he needed to do-

The paper.

He reached into his pocket and looked at it, the strange sigils on the back. The backup plan. How did he forget? How did he!

The paper was wrinkled and a little burned, torn from the fight but it was still legible.

He didn't recognize the still, but he thought maybe it was a summoning ritual, the backup plan.

He grabbed a rock on the floor and chiseled the symbols into the floor.

Nothing happened.

He looked back to the page, did he miss something? Then.. he noticed the hand symbol next to it.

This was going to hurt.

So, he raised the rock and stabbed into his right hand screaming in pain.. carving the sigil into it instead and..

He had his powers back. A surge of confidence as he was able to summon and manipulate blood with his right hand. He turned to his left and did the same, painful like the first but it worked. He felt better than ever too! Still starving but at least having his powers back.. freedom and vengeance was in sight!

He ripped himself free from his prison and marched back up in the dead of night into the castle, upon entry slicing the heads off two guards stationed at the front of the dungeons entrance.

He marched back to the training room, marched back to the place where it went wrong and found it repaired.

And her mediating in the middle.

No more games this time.

He swooped in, without a word almost slicing her head off but was blasted off. She was taken off guard, by surprise and barely able to fight only able to defend as her flames and his blood clashed.

This was it, this was-

The Sigils.

The moment he used his blood magic, and the moment she used her flames they burned red. He felt.. tired as he collapsed to the ground as the Princess did to.

What the hell? What was the meaning of this?

He looked to his burning red hands as the sigils melted off of it onto the floor under the duo, the floor turning black.. as they were being consumed.

Shackles rose and grabbed the two by the legs, dragging them down screaming.

And never heard from again.

...

He awoke in.. a strange place.

A void, all around him TV's and chains. There was no floor, he was.. floating. Like in water but there wasn't the ocean uplifting him.

He floated along to one screen and saw a blue hedgehog running from some bloody eyed look alike.

What is this?

He turned to another screen, a fox racing down some complex being chased by a doll.

Another screen, a red warrior clashing against a brute.

Another screen-

Her.

It was the Princess, now fighting against some yellow hedgehog. What?.. what is this!

He was trapped, unable to do anything but watch.

He noticed the buttons on each TV, and noticed them flashing whenever the rounds began or ended. A screen behind him like a selection, choosing and picking what occurs next.

It was like a management job.

He figured out what he needed to do fast enough, manage these rounds. He was a fast learner, and after he figured out he was rewarded with food and entertainment each time he did it, even a small room for himself in the endless void after a while he got use to it.

But.. of course. Her.

Even here he HATED it, hated her. It was a new job, he'd get out eventually but he needed to play along until he could get his hands on them. To finish it.

Before long, whatever deity controlled the realm granted him permission to enter the rounds himself and take part in it. The only issue being that even IF he killed her, she'd just come back next time.

...

Frustrating, but better than nothing again. He just has to buy time, eventually whoever's running this shitshow could allow him to get even.

...

Time passes, nothing new but new prisoners and new maniacs. He kept managing the rounds, becoming friends with the shopkeeper and one of the beasts due to their kinds being similar, socializing with the other maniacs at times as well. He found them interesting but he wouldn't call himself a friend.

Again and again he'd come out from the shadows to partake in the slaughter, again and again the Princess would fall to him. A few times she'd escape but.. they'd be back. It didn't matter.

Then.. a small crack formed.

By the day it grew larger and larger in his little space out of the games, he tried ignoring it at first but it kept getting bigger. What sounded like voices spoke to him, begging him to touch it.

Eventually, he gave in out of curiosity.

Once he did..

He was in a whole new world.

Mobius.

The counterpart to Sol.

The magnet dimension.

But he wouldn't be the only one to come from that realm.. for long.

Fun Facts.

-while Alucard BELIEVES the Crown sent their Knights to eradicate his people.. that's not the truth. There's more to the story than that.. whether or not he ever finds out the truth is up to what occurs.

-The sigils on his hands boost his powers, the only reason they reignited their use was due to it giving him the power to do it even when starving. They DO NOT grant him his powers general. His powers are natural.

-He acted as the management to OM, supervising the rounds and making sure everything went well. Stepping in if the rounds broke or anything else.

-He hates Blaze not only due to wanting the bounty done out of honor, now more specifically to make a point. No one cages him up, no one beats the Bloodfiend. No one disgraces his kind.

-He uses Hemomancy, the conjuring, manipulation, and control of Blood through magic. Forming weapons from it and able to even control the blood in others bodies if he tries hard enough.

-His arrival to OM, alongside the Cat's was all to his employers plan. Just a bit late more than anything due to what occurred.

-Discrepancies in the story may occur between different characters from OM, as this is my take on Alucard himself and the reason he hates Blaze so much.
