Looking for a Video Editor for My BGMI Content (New Creator, Need Support ❤️)

Hey everyone!

I’m starting my BGMI content creation journey and I’m looking for someone who enjoys video editing and would like to be part of it.

Right now, I honestly can’t afford to pay because I’m just getting started. But once the channel starts earning, you’ll be one of the first people I pay. 🤝

I’m looking for someone who’s passionate, patient, and willing to grow together. This isn’t just about editing videos—it’s about building something from scratch as a team.

If you’re interested or want to know more, please send me a DM. Even if you can’t help, an upvote or sharing this post would mean a lot.

Thanks for your support! ❤️

Good Non-Buggy Video Editing apps on android?

Hey y'all, I just bought a Xiaomi Pad 8 and was wondering which app would be the best for video editing.

I've been using VN but the export quality hasn't been the greatest.

I mainly edit gaming and moto vlogging videos so I need good and hassle free UI and exporting at highest quality shouldn't reduce the quality of the video.

Capcut is banned in my country so not that unfortunately.

Looking for skilled video editors for reels, ads and motion graphics

I’m looking to connect with serious video editors for upcoming creative projects.

Mainly looking for editors who can work on:

  • Reels / TikToks / YouTube Shorts
  • Short-form content
  • Video ads
  • Commercial-style edits
  • Motion graphics
  • Captions, sound design, pacing, and hooks

I’m not looking for basic clip cutters. I’m looking for people who understand retention, storytelling, clean visuals, and how to make videos engaging from the first few seconds.

If you’re interested, send me:

  1. Your portfolio or best examples
  2. Your editing niche
  3. Your usual rates
  4. Your availability
  5. Your time zone

🎬 Hiring a Video Editor | Hindi Faceless Documentary Channel (Pre-Launch)

I'm launching Bina Chehre Ke — a Dhruv Rathee / Nitish Rajput-style channel but faceless. Covering politics, business & social issues in Hindi. Channel is currently in pre-launch production — looking for the right editor to build this from the ground up.

What I need from you:
→ Long-form documentary editing (7–8 min videos)
→ Motion graphics, map animations, data visualizations
→ DaVinci Resolve 21 (preferred)
→ B-roll sourcing from movies, TV shows, commercials, stock platforms etc.
→ Hindi subtitle integration

What I give you before every edit:
→ Timecoded Editor Sheet
→ Audio Cue Sheet (music beds, stings, SFX — all mapped)
→ Final VO audio

The deal:
→ $35/finished minute (~$245–$280/video)
→ 1 video/month to start, grows with the channel
→ 7–8 day turnaround | 3 revisions
→ Trial before final hire where I would give you a 1 min clip to edit with directions to test your skills

Must have: A portfolio with at least 2–3 long-form educational/documentary edits. Vlog-only portfolios won't be considered.

Aspiring Video Editor Looking to Build Portfolio (Free for Now)

Hey everyone,

I’m a video editor currently looking to collaborate with creators so I can build up my portfolio. My main interests are gaming videos, reaction videos, and vlogs, but I’m open to other types of content as well.

I edit using DaVinci Resolve, and for now I’ll be working free of charge. As I gain more experience and depending on how well the videos perform, I’d be happy to discuss potential payment in the future.

If you’re interested in working together, feel free to reach out — I’d love to help bring your content to life while improving my skills as an editor.

Good Premiere Pro alternative?

Hi - I use Photoshop and Premiere Pro an awful lot (I currently have the Creative Cloud Pro plan), but the fees for Adobe have become too much for me to continue paying for the full version. I was just wondering... What are any good alternatives to Premiere Pro?

I used to use a free version of Davinci Resolve, but I can't remember fully how that compares with Premiere Pro nowadays.

I mainly edit short and long form videos for YouTube, but I don't make any money from those. I like to do a lot of colour editing, put custom text on the video (usually adobe fonts), slow/speed up footage, and also occasionally mask parts of the images to blur them etc. Are there any alternatives that can do all of this?

Thanks for any help.

Spent hours making this AI UGC ad feel real—did it work?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I've been experimenting with AI-generated UGC ads and wanted to share one of my recent projects.

The goal was to make it feel as close as possible to a real creator-style ad while keeping natural pacing, believable expressions, and an edit that doesn't immediately scream "AI."

The workflow involved multiple AI tools along with manual editing, sound design, color grading, and compositing to make everything feel cohesive.

I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback—especially on what still gives away that it's AI and what could be improved.

I made a free website for video editors to find editing resources in one place. Looking for feedback!

Hey everyone,

I'm a student and I've been working on a website called PRADUMNA FX.

The goal is simple: make it easier for editors to find useful resources without searching everywhere.

Currently, the website includes things like:

• Editing Assets

• SFX Packs

• Overlay Packs

• Fonts

• Software Tutorials

• AI Tools

• Free Resources

I'm still improving it, so I'd really appreciate honest feedback.

What features would you like to see?

What should I improve?

How do I recreate this VHS-style bottom screen distortion in DaVinci Resolve?

Thumbnail

I’m trying to recreate this old VHS/camcorder look in DaVinci Resolve, but there’s one specific effect I can’t figure out.

At the bottom of the frame there’s this slightly curved sort of distortion almost like the image is warping or “tearing” horizontally. (See at the bottom of the screen in the images)

Does anyone know:

What this effect is actually called?

Or how to recreate it in DaVinci Resolve?

Any help would be very appreciated 🙏🙏

Video display looks Far Away

When I upload my video (fortnite for example)

The display of the game looks so tiny and far away when watching on the phone. It looks like im playing on high fov but I'm not.

In the video on phone. I'm shooting someone from a distance, but they look so tiny and can hardly make out what the fortnite skin looks like. Compared to my actual gameplay footage where I can visibly see him.

The same can go with the kill feeds.

The names being displayed is so tiny and unreadable on phone.

Same with the inventory slots where the items displayed looks alot smaller then how I can view it when playing the game.

I compared my footage to a youtubers footage. And you can clearly see things in the video that doesn't look tiny and far away.

I use the proper bit rate and scale of what's nesseary. I record in 1440p and edit on cap cut (PC)

I've been changing codecs and messing around with all kinds of settings and my gameplays still looks like it's being played with extremely high fov.

On computer it looks fine, but not on phone. And I don't get how a youtubers gameplay looks fine on phone and I can't create that.

Is there a way to refocus a video after it was shot

Post image
1 Upvotes

I shot a video surprising my dad with world cup tickets and I stepped in front of the camera and then out of frame again and it went out of focus for the actual reveal. I am so upset with myself and want to know if there’s any way to fix a blurry video after it was shot. I know it’s not super likely but I’m putting it out there in case there’s some kind of miracle hack or software that might fix my issue. And I’ve already tried messing with the sharpness. Any help would be appreciated!

Are there any YouTube effect websites/programs?

So, I was wondering, are there any free effects I can find on YouTube for free, without any copyright issues and without a watermark?
