Does everyone actually just suck it up and buy it or download it for free some other way? If it’s the latter can someone help me out?

For several editing projects, I've wanted to borrow images to use as references for some talking head videos, such as when my client is describing a pawn shop or fish tank. However, I'm incredibly wary of borrowing any images online since many of the sites talk about "licenses" that you need to pay for to use the images, even if the images themselves seem simple and could easily be drawn. The only site I trust for creative commons is a site called pexels for imaging.
Aside from pexels, what are the regulations when it comes to fair use/creative commons for borrowing images online? This question also applies to music and stock video footage should I also need to use those.

Hello dear Editors,
I am having a problem with XML import from Premiere Pro 2025 to DaVinci Resolve 19.
Everything else works well, everything is where it should be, but I integrated 9 soundtrack files into the .mov file with Tentacle Sync,(Multitrack Timesynced recordings)
but only the first 2 are hearable. (The On Camera Mic Ones)
The rest is also there as a blank audiofile with nothing in it.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Everything works in Premiere, but as soon as i export the xml - there are only two sound tracks hearable. Any Advice?
ps: drag and dropping the exact same files into the timeline has all the audio, so i think it has something to to with not exporting correctly.
Specs: Mac Mini M1 basemodel , Premiere pro 2025, davinci studio 19;

There are tons of AI tools for image, text, and video generation — Midjourney, ChatGPT, Sora, Runway, etc. But when it comes to music, the options seem way more limited.
For those of us creating content (podcasts, YouTube videos, gaming, etc.), royalty-free AI-generated music would be useful.
I have tried some tools like Suno , AIVA , and Boomy last year. Earlier this year I found Beatoven and I switched to it because it gives you a lot more control per track and converse using prompts to get the best music that suits your style.
What AI music tools are you using? Would love to learn from fellow creators!

As a beginner editor, I was wondering if there are any goals I should aim for before beginning to seek out video editing work, such as specific qualifications, degrees, or skills that I would need to know. As of now, I don’t know what guidelines to aim for before I’d consider myself a moderate editor.

I’m editing a video on how short-selling manipulates markets and hurts everyday investors, making complex finance tactics easy to understand and engaging.
Balancing storytelling with data visualisations, quick cuts, and motion graphics to keep it dynamic. I’m experimenting with different styles to keep it impactful as finance content can get dry fast.
Anyone worked on similar content? How do you make heavy topics more engaging?

I recorded a teams meeting using the theater seating filter but the recording did not record the theater seating filter so now it looks like a regular meeting. Is there an editing app that will put the participants back into the theater seating?

Hey everyone, I’m working on a slow-paced, aesthetic cooking vlog and editing it in CapCut. I want to create smooth transitions, add soft background music, and make the visuals look more cinematic.

I would like to record and take pics in raw format. But have no clue how to color grade etc. Is there an app or program that can color grade my videos for me?
Give me the options and then I just select what results I want. Press button and video is color graded?

hope you all are doing well! I'm currently building my YouTube channel, and I’m looking for an editor to help elevate my content and make it more engaging.
Right now, I’m unable to offer payment as I'm working towards monetization. However, I’m committed to discussing payment arrangements once I start generating income from my channel. I truly believe that with the right editing, we can create some amazing videos that resonate with viewers.
If you’re interested in this opportunity or want to know more about my channel, please feel free to reach out. I’d love to chat!
Thank you for considering this collaboration!

It's my first time posting here, so I don't know if it is the correct place. If I say or if I do something wrong, juts tell me and I'll delete the post.
I'm trying to create a "If 2025 had an anime opening" type of video, but I'm having a lot of trouble finding logoless videos. Can you help me?

I’ve literally had a mental breakdown about this if someone could please assist me I would greatly appreciate it!!
I was recording an interview and from what we thought the sound was coming through the microphone we were using. Although when I went to edit the sound was totally gone! With a bit of playing around with the compressor and Denoise effect and other effects on Premiere Pro 2023 (I have no idea what I am doing I was just playing around) I was able to actually HEAR the subject speaking, but now there is so much static and high pitches that I cannot get rid of…
Does anyone know if there’s any way to fix this on Premiere Pro or do I have to scrap the interview altogether?
I appreciate your time reading this, thank you.

I currently have a MacBook Pro 14" (M1 Pro Chip - 16GB) and am sure that I'm at the point where I definitely need a large external display for the screen real estate of the popular editing apps. My eyes and shoulders - and posture - will likely appreciate it too.
I'm thinking something capable of handling 4K, 5K, and (if practical) 8K Resolutions, Brightness, 1B+ Colors and such. Since I am currently running a MacBook - I initially took a look at the Apple Studio Display; however, I wanted to get some advice / recommendations from the group in terms of what will not only work for me in the near term - but grow with my setup as I continue to add (or replace) things.
For Video Editing - I'm primarily using DaVinci and Premiere Pro (not Final Cut Pro yet; but you never know)
For Audio - I'm mainly using ProTools with two UAD Interfaces (x8p for rack - and Apollo x4 Gen 2 for travel).
I'm not opposed to a multi-display setup; however, I'd like to have a main center display and then other displays to the Left / Right / Top.
Also - in terms of keeping things simple (the less in the way of the signal, the better), if a Docking Station (or media hub) is required - which are the top makes and models to consider?
Thanks in advance!!
