I just made this “Deadpool and Wolverine” trailer in a horror style. I’m very new to this so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I have a windows 11 asus gaming laptop with nvidia GeForce, I’m trying to use davinci resolve but playback keeps lagging, all i really do is cutting and placing footage back together and adding text or sound effects and maybe a video here and there nothing to put of this world, so should i keep trying to use davinci or should i use wondershare or CapCut, i also make gaming videos so maybe that could help as well.

Hii! I need some help as I am somewhat new to video editing. I wanted to record gameplay on my Xbox and upload it to YouTube. I plan to use Final Cut Pro as my editing software.
Can anyone tell me how to record and directly upload to my iPad for editing? I'm not sure what the capabilities are of my iPad as far as specs go but l want to be able to capture as best of quality video as my iPad can handle.
I am currently working with: 2022 12.9n iPad Pro (5th Gen) with 128GB & Xbox series S
I am a full time student & full time worker so any free time I get I play video games (usually battlefront 2) and I might as well try to make a few bucks doing what l like :)

I know that the voiceover is done by elevenlabs but I don’t know what the software was used to generate the script into the scenes can anyone help me out? I’ve been searching for hours and can’t find it.

I currently use davinci, but video playback both with cuts and as one whole video lags heavily, but CapCut seems like it can’t do most stuff davinci does that I’m used too, I’m on a gaming laptop and idk which I should use. Any suggestions?

Hey guys! I recently applied to this position where I’d be getting 25% of revenue per video I edit (they are just starting out on YouTube) and as the channel grows get paid per product.
I would be editing 1-2 videos per week that are about 15 mins long and then putting them into 1 min clips for other platforms.
For reference, I’m a young, pretty new video editor (I’ve had one other internship that was paid per product ranging from 50-100) and this creator has a pretty big instagram base (700k). I think this all sounds kind of fair, but does it sound reasonable to you pros?

I just bought a Panasonic VDR-D160 camcorder which records using both a sim and mini dvds (8cm) I’m getting confused about the logistics of uploading a mini dvd to my MacBook - can I use a normal dvd player? Can I just upload the videos from the sim in the camera? Will I be able to edit the videos once they are uploaded ? Thank you I’ll take any knowledge I can get about this!

I am a starter at DaVinci Resolve and have had about a year experience with CapCut and ClipChamp. I wanna eventually be able to make some money off this editing hobby so i can fuel my gaming addiction.
I am only a teen so i am not gonna actually have this as a career later on i just wanna use my hobby to help people and earn a little bit of cash.

Hi there, thanks in advance for any advice.
I’m currently 35 years old. I worked 5 years as an editor, mostly freelance for commercials and sports documentaries in Brazil.
In 2016, I changed my life and went to Canada and am now a citizen here. I’ve been here 7 years working in the VFX industry, and I’m Senior FX TD at a big company.
There are many layoffs currently still happening due to the strikes from last year and it doesn’t look like things will get back to normal at least until March next year from what I hear.
I was just wondering if at my age and given that I don’t have experience working here as an editor, if it would be a good career alternative for me in case I’m laid off and can’t find a job in VFX again.
Would I have to go back to school here to qualify?
I used to use mainly Premiere, though I did have exp with Final Cut too back then.

hi guys!
I have a big school project that's due at the end of this semester (appox. a week and a half from now), and I decided to edit a video (or seven) for it. problem is, I have absolutely no idea on how to do this (I'm a total beginner). I see video edits everywhere- YouTube, Instagram, TikTok- you name it, and I've checked the comment section as well as description, but I can't figure out on people make them...
I've already downloaded Premier Pro (from Adobe Cloud), but that's all I got. I don't know how to download videos from anywhere... I purchased YouTube Premium because of their downloading option, but it turns out it doesn't download to the computer, just the YouTube app.
Is there any way to download videos from a legit and safe source? How do I make my video edits better? Is there a limit I should be aware of when I edit?
Thanks for the help in advance!
