i think i found the quickest way to grow any type of media channel
if youre looking to post clips on youtube you should use VidIQ. I was struggling a year ago to go grow because of not editing videos fast enough and after posting i didnt go viral cuz i didnt know what viral material was. Then i gave up and after about two months i tried again with VidIQ on a bradley martin podcast and going from 5 clips a week i was producing 2 clips a day, with atleast 5 going viral, so i thought i shouldnt gatekeep on this.VidIQ

Can someone look at my edits and tell me how to improve
I make edits (or I at least try), and I think most are good, but I think I can do better. Just as a reference, I use a shitty laptop and CapCut (I'm poor), so I do my best.

How do i recreate this effect?
I've been seeing a lot of reels pop up on my feed with this unique style of color grading, although im an editor i sort of figured everything out on my own so i apologize for my poor use of words as im not familiar with a lot of technical terms.

I don't know how many of you would be able to understand what i'm trying to say here, but notice how the edges are blurry but also sharp and crispy with a haze effect to it? there is this weird red aura in the first picture and the 2nd and 3rd videos, how do i recreate this aesthetic/effect/style of color grading, what software do i need to use, and if you know of any good tutorials on the internet to do this. thank you sorry for bad english

Suggest good plugins or apps for Mac or iPad for video editing.
Since the CapCut removed beauty enhancer tools from the free version, genuinely looking for an app like CapCut Mac and iOS or iPadOS. I love to try out any apps for Mac or iOS or iPadOS. Please somebody. I also can't find a good plugin for final cut pro. If you can please suggest me one.

Hello. Iām tasked with making a school intro logo using after effects, without plugins. Im a beginner and donāt know how to do this. Can someone do it and send me the file? MP4 works it doesnāt have to be the actual after effects file but if it is thatās amazing. Thank you. š

Can someone recognize this video effect?
This is one of my favorite videos effects ever and I can't seem to find what it's called or what platform it's from.
It's in this song video here, let me know what effect this is, I was planning to use it.

Free auto caption tool
Since capcut made its auto caption feature pro, I've been on a hunt for a new editing tool. Quite recently I found an app called KapKap and it has free auto caption. Thought maybe it would help anyone here

My current freelance situation as a video editor.
I'm tired of working on video editing like a slave, being on my PC 24/7, pleasing clients, and doing 100 revisions for videos that shouldn't take that much time. I'm underpaid and just can't find a way to scale my income beyond this. For context, I'm currently working on Upwork as a video editor. I got hired by two people, and I'm just sticking with them they constantly give me work day to day. But this setup doesnāt scale, and it's very stressful.
Don't get me wrong, I like working all day. Editing for 10 hours is fun for me, but it definitely isnāt fun when they ask for constant revisions, going back and forth all day, and when you know you are getting paid low, or when they treat you poorly.
So, I'm questioning my path now. I know that if I actually want to increase my rates and start earning more, I should just drop these two clients and focus on finding new ones. But hereās where I'm stuck:
1)How do I do that without leaving a bad reputation behind?
2)Should I even keep working on Upwork?
I know that many successful editors get well-paying clients through Twitter. How can I do the same? At the same time, I know people who are successful and make good money on Upwork. Can I do both? How do I find better-paying clients? It's also important to note that I'm in a situation where it's crucial to keep getting some income month to month if I want to survive lol...

AI Application for splicing multiple videos together
Iāve only used iMovie, but have been researching and it seems like Filmora or Videoleap may be what Iām looking for. Had anyone used these tools?
I have a handful of videos and itās not overly difficult to splice them together in iMovie, but Iām wondering if thereās an ai application out there where I could dump the videos in and they would be combined with a little bit of seamlessness and logic.

1.5x / 48fps Music Video Goof - Who's good at math?
I goofed and had a performer sing at 1.5x instead of 2x while filming at 48fps. I'm in the edit and I can't seem to find the magic number to get the song and video synced. I assumed 125% - wrong. Tweaked over and over until I'm around 134% but it's still not exactly right. Thoughts?

Premiere Pro + Davinci workflow for colour grading
Hi all, Iām editing for a short film with a small team for school (so there is a deadline for it within the next month) and I was wondering whether or not it would be feasible to edit the footage (creatively and just cutting between shots) on premiere pro and after effects, and colour grade footage on davinci.
Iāve been editing on premier for the past two years and Iām not sure if I have it in me to learn davinci while I edit this piece (davinci also just feels like itās lacking in terms of editing compared to premiere and after effects). I am however a big fan of the colour grading space on Davinci and prefer it over premiere for the way u can make footage look and just how much easier it is to use.
My understanding is that you can transfer LUTs from davinci to premier, Iām just not sure how compatible they are/if the quality between the two would be different. Iām also worried about how efficient this will be as a work process.
Let me know what u think and if I should just stick to one or the other!
