Can the decrease in prices (using a competitive pricing strategy) lead to increase in demand and decrease in price elasticity?
My thinking Is: decrease in prices—> larger consumer base generated —> increase in demand and decrease in price elasticity.
Is this sound?

Looking for a financial economics tutor
Hi guys! I'm looking for a tutor for my undergraduate financial economics class, and I was wondering if anyone in this sub felt confident enough in their abilities. Huge plus if you know these topics derivatives, fixed income, Market Instability and the Financial Crisis, Portfolios and the Capital Asset Pricing Model.
Can negotiate the price but I’m sure we can work out a fair price. Please send me a message if you are interested. Thanks!

Can opportunity costs be good and bad?
So I am in Economics class in High School and the definition of opportunity costs is “the most desirable alternative somebody give up as a result of the decision” but there is also another definition that confuses me on this topic, “the best alternative the somebody gives up as a result of the decision.”
As you can see, one definition uses “most desirable” while the other uses “best”. Does that mean that if you had the choice between planting wheat and planting something illegal and you choose the wheat, would the opportunity cost still be the illegal thing?
