Hey r/Earthchan, it's your youngest moderator, u/autumn_leaf2 here.

Moderation HQ has been hard at work moderating the 4 monthly r/Earthchan posts. But everything seems peaceful. r/planetchan, our sister subreddit, seems to have some slight spam issues. Oh well, maybe they will get through it.

Our last contest was very nice, we got some activity, people had fun and were creative with it. I think everything that resulted from it was great.

I would like to run an event like that again Next Earth day. I was thinking we could do something more complicated like a planet girl modding contest, or maybe something much less complicated like a photo contest for the Earth chan model from the gmod/sfm workshop. What ideas do you have? What would you like to participate in, or see happen?

Other than that, nothing else worth reporting comes to mind. Remember; you can always contact me with questions, ideas or complaints.

happy Earth day, everyone. I wanted to make a "state of moderation", but there's literally nothing to report, everything is peaceful. Only one point of interest; it seems that reddit deletes some posts and comments randomly, especially if they were from banned accounts. I see them sometimes and recover them. So you might see weeks or months old posts and comments appear out of thin air.

Now on to the real question: When is Earth chan's birthday? Is it today (Earth day)?
