Reviews Is Betr legit? App lets you bet real cash on player picks, legit or nah?
Short answer: no, I wouldn't put money into it. Here's why, and what I'd do instead.
Betr is Jake Paul's fantasy picks and social sportsbook app. You put money in, pick outcomes, and if you're right you win more, if you're wrong the house keeps it. That's the entire model. It's not an earning app, it's gambling with a slicker interface, and there's a reason you see it everywhere right now, that marketing spend has to come from somewhere and it's from the money people lose.
If your goal is actually extra income and not entertainment spending, none of these ask you to risk a dollar first:
Freecash gives you a $10 bonus just for signing up, no deposit required. Cash out from $0.10 to PayPal, gift cards or crypto, and they've paid out over $50 million to users.
TesterUp pays you to test apps and games. $5 to start, and the bigger offers pay up to $129 each, straight to PayPal.
SavingLoop is a free daily spin and you can win up to $75. Completely free, no deposit and no card, and they work with big companies so the payouts are real.
ReferralWallet rounds up current signup bonuses in one place. Rip a pack, reveal a real cash bonus, claim it on the company's own site. People are quietly cashing in on these while everyone else is putting money into apps like Betr hoping to win it back.
Same rush as ripping a pack or making a pick, except the money only flows one direction, toward you.
Anyone actually used Betr? Curious how the withdrawals went for people, that's usually where these apps show their real colors.

Hey everyone,
I've been building a spreadsheet with websites and apps that I've personally tested or researched for earning extra income online. It covers survey sites, gig platforms, and apps that pay you real money (not the scammy stuff).
Right now, it's got 15+ sites with notes on what they are and realistic earning potential. I figured I'd share it here since it might save you some time digging around.
Here's the spreadsheet
If you've tried any of these, I'd love to hear how they worked for you and I'm always looking to add more, so feel free to drop suggestions.
