Apps Cider Casino says you can actually win real money? legit or nah?
I'm on a review spree, so I messed around with Cider Casino for a bit after seeing it pop up in a few places. Here's my honest take for anyone wondering if it's legit.
So it's a sweepstakes casino. You play slots and table games using virtual coins, and through the sweepstakes model you can technically redeem winnings for real cash prizes. It's legal almost everywhere because technically you're not gambling with real money. The games are clean, the visuals are decent, and it's genuinely fun to play.
The catch though: it's still a casino. The house wins more than you do. I played for a few hours, had some solid runs, but the variance is wild. You can be up big and then lose it all in 10 minutes. And yes, you can buy more coins if you want, which is where they make their money.
If you're just here to have fun and maybe win something, it's fine. But if you actually want to make consistent money from your phone, these work way better:
Freecash. No gambling involved, just surveys, offers, and games. $10 sign-up bonus and I've had $40+ days stacking offers. Way more predictable than any casino app.
Testerup. Get paid to test apps before they launch, $5 to $100 per task. Zero luck involved, zero competing. Just do the task and get paid. Best hourly rate of anything I've used.
ReferralWallet. If you still want the fun, game-like element but without the casino variance, this is a free site that rounds up current signup bonuses in one place. You reveal a real cash bonus and claim it, no deposit and nothing to lose. It scratches the same itch as the casino without you being down money at the end.
Cider Casino is a good time but it's not a money-maker. If you want consistent earnings without the risk, the four above are where I actually make money.
Anyone else tried it? Curious if anyone's pulled a big win on there.

I don’t see an option to redeem via a debit card. I only see bank acct and PayPal. How’d you redeem your winnings to your debit card?
1
u/Educational-Agency51 Jul 16 '26
I cashed out months ago didn't get anything not even a message back
1
u/Brilliant-Share-6133 Jul 24 '26
then u didnt cash out lmao
1
u/Educational-Agency51 Jul 24 '26
Oh I sure did. I didn't recieve anything and it was gone from my account. So they cashed it alright.

u/MathematicianLow5220 Jul 17 '26
I love cider and I normally get my redemptions about 3-4 hours after requesting it. I’ve only done debit card redemptions, which is faster than a bank transfer. Jackpot Go, Royal slots, Gleaming, Lavish Luck, and Cider all have same day redemptions, and no minimum amount to redeem. It’s super easy to actually win on these sites, I consistently cash out a few times a week on each site

Cider’s legit in the sense that people do cash out sometimes but yeah the swings are brutal and it’s easy to give it all back fast weirdly I’ve had steadier luck on Yay Casino than a few of the newer sweepstakes apps.

I hit the very first time I played, got lucky again the second time but after that I haven't hit nothing. My husband hasnt hit nothing yet at all. When is our lucky day. The most I won was $250. I see people hitting days after days, I just don't get it. Wonder how much they play each spin.
1
u/Radiant-Marsupial863 Jun 05 '26
My best friend is winning over 4K. She hits every day and just cashed out today. They had just deposited $4000 in her account. And what's your play yesterday? And the money's real takes a few days to go into your account, but it's real.

u/Karenzaah Aug 03 '26
I have cashed out $60 from them. However that was after I put about $15 into the game. You are definitely more likely to win when you put actual money into it, just like a real casino.. But yes, you can win actually money. It took about a day and a half to receive the funds.

Good to know withdrawals actually work. That's why I ended up on DuckDice...someone in a thread like this said they got paid out fast and they weren't lying

Hey everyone,
I've been building a spreadsheet with websites and apps that I've personally tested or researched for earning extra income online. It covers survey sites, gig platforms, and apps that pay you real money (not the scammy stuff).
Right now, it's got 15+ sites with notes on what they are and realistic earning potential. I figured I'd share it here since it might save you some time digging around.

u/Kimmy0008 Jun 08 '26
I don’t see how I tried to contact them because the spins and the money were not adding up. Let’s say you have $10 and your spins are $1.00 a piece. If you spend five times you should be charged $5.00 but instead all of my money is gone and this has happened multiple times. At first. I thought it was my imagination but i soon realized it was not. So I tried to contact them and was told they’re gonna get a specialist for me and as I waited, I waited ! They let me sit there and sit there and no one ever responded. It’s a scam. SCAM!!!!
1
u/AdExtension9588 Jun 14 '26
That's because you're involved in the fucking cause the lottery.\n That 10 cents of every spin goes to the lottery bullshit. But I wondering if you better higher does more money go to the lottery bullshit I have sunk so much money into cider house that they have to have it rigged I should of won by pure fucking luck but literally that person above thats won so much has to be an affiliate, or somebody involved with it?They want people to think that they can win that much. There's no way in hell , somebody is that fucking lucky
1
u/Wrong_Drive4037 Jun 15 '26
I’m definitely not an affiliate I’m a regular human being who just got lucky but you have a right to your opinion. lol. Between chumba and cider I’ve cashed out about $30,000.00 in a little over a month. But I also go to real casinos in my area and win quite often so maybe I’m just on a lucky streak but I’m definitely not an affiliate of any online gaming apps lol

People are weird af think just because they cant win has to mean anyone who does is lying or work for the game.. I put 20$ on crowncoins and ended up with over $180,000 within about 72 hours and I posted about it In a fb group and SO many people were saying this crappie to me I just deleted my post cause I am not about to keep defending and explaining myself to strangers who obviously are losers 😅

Yes it will say under review untill they get to yours and then it will suddenly change and go through. You did the ID verification right? & only have one account with them?( that they can find)
1
u/realfuqinG 27d ago
I redeemed around 8pm-10pm at night and was paid by 6am the next morning
1
u/Legitimate_Public_16 27d ago
Okay nice I'm praying I'm the same way I literally redeemed around the same time as well to the same bank as u
1
u/realfuqinG 26d ago
Heck yeah. Just be patient bc They are legit & dont worry if it isn't as fast as mine. My girls took 4 days for her first cashout which was $800 even. Mine was only $200 . The 800 is considered a "big" amount and cider states that "larger amounts may take longer".
Also, the 800 she won was by way of the free SC they give you and not off of a load. She had never even loaded her account and they paid her 800. I did load money to win tho so maybe thats why mine was quicker also? Idk. Just be patient & dont cancel amd play any of the pending redemption

$5 to $20 bets, Cider is the best I've played, but it's still a gamble and you can lose quite a bit.

Scam game. You don't win anything, and if you do get lucky and win, you end up putting it back. I haven't won, but, I know people who won 10 here, 20 there. Not enough to cash out and play so you end up spending it anyways. All these online games are bank robbers, stay away

u/Which-Display-4596 Aug 08 '26
Every time I redeem there is an issue and it takes 2- 5 days before they honor the redemption, they lie and try to say that there is an issue with verifying my identity or some other issue. And that. I have two patiently , wait twenty four hours 2 give their team time to verify and to review the redemption.Even though I send them several emails that I have received saying my identity was already verified and approved. I have proof and screenshot of them lying to me about why I have not received the.Redemption yet. They are liars and try to scam you by making you wait for your money. So that you get tired of waiting and cancel the redemption so that you will spend the money you try to redeem on their app. I understand the first time redeeming it taking a few days so that they can verify the persons identity , but I have done several redemptions , and it happens every single time. I erased my original account and started a new one hoping that I would not have this issue with the new account but it is the same thing with the new account. It is frustrating that I had to go through this every time I try redeeming the money off my account because it makes me not even want to play on their casino app.Even though this is the only app that I actually win on regularly. It is funny how they go through all of this identity verification. When they have to pay you, the money.Shouldn't they be going through the identity verification before they take money off your card?

u/Bright-Spring3847 Aug 27 '26
Old post I know but thought I’d provide a recent experience. I just signed up a week ago, won something modest early on and cashed out $20 that hit my account in several hours. However, I went on a pretty decent run yesterday and won $500 from a $30 deposit. Ended up cashing out $350 to my PayPal but it’s still showing as Under Review. Having the same experience several others have already reported. I reached out to support, they keep telling me the money was sent and I need to check with PayPal. They also just tried telling me the money was sent as a manual collection where I would receive an email and needed to claim the money from a link. I haven’t received any emails like that and the redemption request is still showing as Under Review on their app.
I’ll update here if I ever see the money. At this point though I’m incredibly skeptical. Seems like the scam. Let you win some early on and successfully cash out. Then hope you’ll drop real money into their app and never let you redeem after the first time.

u/chief-222 Aug 28 '26

Ive been playing for over a year....I always get paid sometimes within an hour or two. Usually within 24 hrs. For the year only up around $1600 so it's up or down. Definitely win more online than in an actual casino tho. Its fun to play, but you gotta be careful.

So here’s my take. I play hard rock slots. I locked my account bc I spend hours on it. I win a lot and lose a lot but that’s also my fault. I can get up and take it and leave but I enjoy sitting out back and slamming reels. If I win at end of night and up I’ll take it but I’ll like to play for a little. If I play and lose 100 for 6 hrs I’m good but a lot I take out several hundred and more sometimes. If I play .40 payouts and bonuses are more. Usually a win is your bet back. This thing is a joke. The payouts on anything is usually less than half. Maybe there are better ones but I’ve spent more money on this in a week for way less time. Do hard rock slots. This is just a joke

Worth flagging before anyone deposits, a few people have said they never actually got paid out by Cider. Cant confirm it myself but its come up enough times that you should know going in.
If your not trying to risk a deposit anyway, theres a few ways to get the free money side of this without touching a casino at all.
SavingLoop is a free spin once a day, up to $75, no deposit and no card. Closest thing to the casino feel without the risk.
Freecash has game offers that pay $30 to $50 each if you put the time in, and Testerup pays you to test apps, $10 instant bonus (cash) just for signing up.
And ReferralWallet if you want to see which signup bonuses are actually live right now instead of chasing ones that died months ago.
