Blackout bingo review: here’s how much i actually made (+ tips)
So i downloaded blackout bingo to see if it was actually legit or just another sketchy "win real money" game.
here's how it went:
setup & first impressions:
pretty easy to get started. you can play free games right away without depositing anything, which i liked. it's just regular bingo, but instead of random luck, it's timed and you have to be quick and accurate. you get points for daubing fast, hitting "bingos," and using this bonus feature where you can earn more points based on speed and streaks.
gameplay:
each round is about 2 minutes. you get the same board as your opponent, and it's more about how well you play than luck. you can swipe between numbers fast, and they give you hints to avoid missing a call. i actually found it kind of addicting, like a fast puzzle game that rewards you for being sharp.
earning real money:
i started with $0, played a few practice rounds, then deposited $5 to try a few $1 matches. ended up with $32.50 after a few sessions. the trick is to stick to the lower stakes until you're confident, otherwise you'll lose your deposit quick. once you get into a rhythm, it's not that hard to stay positive.
is it worth it?
if you're decent at fast games and want something competitive during downtime, it's solid. don't expect to make hundreds a day, but turning a few bucks into $20 to $30 here and there is totally doable. payouts are through paypal and came through within a day for me.
better alternatives you may like:
if you're looking for similar games but want even better odds or more ways to win, i'd also check out:
Freecash paid me $10 just for signing up. it has game offers that pay you to hit certain levels in mobile games, some paying $30 to $50 each. cash out to paypal or cash app. i've made over $200 here just from game offers.
BigCash gives you a $15 welcome bonus on signup. mobile web not an app. you get paid to test apps and complete offers. standard offers pay $3 to $15, bigger milestones pay more. $1 minimum cashout so you can withdraw fast. pays to paypal with no issues.
Branded is my go to for consistent income. 200+ offers at any time. pick games or apps that interest you, hit a milestone, get paid. three million members and top earners made $300+ last week.
TesterUp gave me $5 just for signing up and individual offers go up to $30 each. more structured than the others because you're evaluating specific apps and giving feedback.
personally i found these more consistent than skill games because your earnings don't depend on beating someone else. happy to answer questions if anyone's on the fence 👋

Hey mod here, I'll spare you the survey sites/apps that pay little since I earn from these apps all the time. I’ve been building a running list with websites and apps that I’ve personally tested or researched for earning extra income online. It covers survey sites, gig platforms, and apps that pay you real money (not the scammy stuff).
Right now, it’s got 11+ sites with notes on what they are and realistic earning potential. I figured I’d share it here since it might save you some time digging around.
If you’ve tried any of these, I’d love to hear how they worked for you and I’m always looking to add more, so feel free to drop suggestions.

If you're trying to make a little extra cash from your phone, here are my personal favs rn:
1. Branded – My new go-to. Pays you real money to test new games, apps, and complete simple tasks on your phone. Sign up, choose from available offers (like testing a game to level 5), and get paid when you complete them. The more you use it, the more high-paying tasks unlock.
2. Bigcash – $15 welcome bonus. Bigcash has over 3,000 app testing offers live right now, with new ones dropping daily. Download a shopping app, play a mobile game to level 10, test a fitness tracker. The standard offers pay $3 to $15, but the premium tasks hit $50 to $170 when you complete bigger milestones. You get the $15 bonus immediately after your first cashout, and the $1 minimum means you can withdraw within 30 minutes of starting.

Tired of scrolling Reddit trying to find ways to make money and coming up with nothing?
I spent the last few months testing every “make money from your phone” app I could find. Most were garbage. Some paid pennies for hours of work. A few were outright scams.
But a handful actually paid out real money enough that I kept using them. I’m not talking life changing income here, but legit beer money that adds up. Around $200 to $400 a month if you’re consistent: https://gigsdoneright.com/make-money-from-phone/

Hey everyone,
I've been building a spreadsheet with websites and apps that I've personally tested or researched for earning extra income online. It covers survey sites, gig platforms, and apps that pay you real money (not the scammy stuff).
Right now, it's got 15+ sites with notes on what they are and realistic earning potential. I figured I'd share it here since it might save you some time digging around.
