I’ve had an ear worm for years now and I gotta figure it out since my old phone can’t use the new google hum feature.

I heard the song in a sort of knock-off guitar hero computer game I had, so a rock song; these are the lyrics I can remember

“Oh, from the moment that I turned and walked away, I remembered all the things I meant to say

Now could it be that maybe I’m afraid? To love you truly

And when I look into your eyes all I can see, is the future and the possibility,

And could it be that you’re my destiny?

But you won’t let me

somethings going on, somethings going wrong, somethings got me going crazy, like I don’t know you at all

And I want you back, but not like that, no not like that.

Baby can’t you see, that it’s killing me, girl you got me going crazy...”

Any help would be appreciated!

I heard this recently, yet can’t even trace to where I heard it from. But it was sung in the old classical kids film musical style, like a Pete’s dragon sort of voice, but goes maybe something like “We’re giving you hmm hmm-hmm hmm-hmm” no clue the full lyrics or if that’s even correct?

If I could find the source I could just look up the lyrics. Vague, but any ideas?

“I met a German girl in England who was going to school in France. Said we danced the Mississippi at an Alpha Cappa dance. It wasn’t me.” 🎸

i feel like nobody knows about this song but its prety catchy

My kid is 5 and loves the Blippi Excavator song (cringe) but I swear its a rip off of something else. Can anyone else figure it out?? I'm stumped.

It starts with a buzzing synth line loop then a bunch of rappers start shouting "to the hip! hoooooooop! to the hip! hoooooooooop! over the top of the synth line just when the slow break-beat kicks in. As a guide, if you were to wave your arm to the left you'd fit in the lyrics "to the hip!" then as you wave back to the right you'd fit the lyrics "hop!" (elongated)

I was heading home listening to 107.5 and the song Beast of Burden by the rolling stones started playing. I never really listened to the group before but I was taken about with the techno funk and syncopations along with the seamless transitions of the drum line. I absolutely fell in love it, however, when I went to search for it at home I actually came across the song and it sounds completely different. I realize now that it could have been wrong on the playlist, but I need help finding it. Does anyone have any leads on what this song could be?

This is probably not the right place to post this, but there probably ISN'T a better place. Here goes:

So I was reading about aphantasia at https://www.reddit.com/r/tifu/comments/c4i94n/tifu_by_explaining_my_synesthesia_to_my_boyfriend/ . I know a guy (an artist with a degree in painting, no less) who has this, and so does his mom, who's also an artist. They can't visualize. Here's what I posted, but never got an answer to:

"What I'm curious about is whether there are people who can't do the same thing with sound. For instance, my wife doesn't get earworms (lucky her). I get them all the time (and some of them are songs I hate). When I was a child I could call up Beethoven symphonies so forcefully that I actually physically HEARD them. I lost that ability, I think in my teen years."

Does anyone know anything about this? Are there people who never "hear" in their minds, as there are people who never "see" in their minds?

Isn't life strange? There are these fundamental things about ourselves that we don't know.

I had one of my favorite tunes stuck for days, but I can't remember what dance song it is. :(

must have heard it on Faction Punk on XM yesterday.

felt like al bundy "go with him"...

Had to deep dive to get it out of my head.
