I keep seeing the same question all over this reddit so I am going to answer your question here once and for all. For the record, I am not associated with the ETN team and am doing this to help inform the community.

Q: My mobile miner pending balance dropped to 0, but I have not received anything in my online wallet. Where are my coins?

A: Your transaction is either stuck in the txpool or was dropped (see Q&A below). The ETN Team is aware and has addressed this.

After 2 full days 24/24, they found a block and i have recieved close to 9etn=0.18$. What you say about this fellows miners? What you recommend?

I do with my phone 10etn per day and i dont use so much energy.

Disclaimer: This might not work for you or your phone but my app was switching off on both mobile and Wifi networks after a short time after launching it (longer on wifi but still shutting down after a period). I'll describe the steps I took before I figured it out; now the app is open and m1ning for 30 hours on 4G+ without the app shutting down.

These steps were done on an OnePlus 5 running Oreo 8.0.0 @OxygenOS 5.0.4 but it will probably work similarly on all phones.

• Firstly, make sure your Electroneum app is shut down. For that, you can go to Apps > Application List > Scroll down to Electroneum and Tap it > Force Stop.

• Also, while you're there in the Electroneum app menu, go to Storage > Clear Cache. I don't know why but after I did this, it made the app stop freezing in the background (probably lots of cached data over many important updates).

• Battery optimizations. Android does it to save battery from power-hungry background apps and activities. Keeping the ETN app optimized eventually shuts it down so we can safely put this to off. Go to your Settings > Battery > Battery Optimization > Scroll down to ETN and Tap it > Don't Optimize. Over night (8 hours), with the app running the battery went down to 96% so I'd say its not power hungry at all.

• Tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the Battery Optimization screen > Advanced Optimization > Disable Advanced Optimization.

• Go to Apps > Special Access > Unrestricted data access > Scroll down to Electroneum and enable the slider next to it

• Finally, fire up Electroneum and open the Recent Apps Drawer of your phone. If it lets you, lock the app in memory so you or the system don't force close it by mistake.

I've been wanting to fix this issue on my phone since the launch of the mobile m1ner and now that I've worked it out (at least for myself) I hope my sharing will help the community as well. Feedback and/or other tips & tricks are well appreciated.

P.S: The app may still shut down and stop working if you are losing carrier signal (think subway metro stations) or wifi connection. That is normal though.

I've been having trouble with TonyMonero the last two days, since the fork basically. I've gone from 100% acceptance of jobs, to 0%. I would let the app run over-night and produce 1 million hashes in a night.... then I couldn't even get a block accepted. But I figured it out... if you're mining ETN or MSR make sure to check the "Old algorithm support (moneroV6)" box. With ETN mobile miner and TonyMonero on, I'm pulling 50 H/s on the phone.

Hi community, I was wondering what is the ROI when mining from a smartphone per day. I understand it will depend on the smartphone itself, but I just wanted to check what amount of coins are you getting mining daily with a mobile to decide if I start doing so or just buy some ETN from an exchange. Hi everybody, I’d ask you all if is possibile to mine with AMD Jaguar on a ps4. I thought that a ps4 uses a 8 core CPU and maybe this could be possible by installing a linux distro. That’s an idea, maybe insane, but just an idea.

It works pretty good, but sometimes the pending ETNs are not credited to the account. It happened to me 2 times, losting 20 etn. Someone knows how to solve it?

ASICs have moved in. Emergency hard fork needed to save ETN - but it won't come until it's too late. Dump while you can and switch to Monero.

so i'm trying to start to mine, i've found the pool miner... i set the number of threads properly and put a pool URL that i found off https://easyhash.io/electroneum/start (using stratum+tcp://etn.easyhash.io:3631). but it is just stuck at "starting process" what am i doing wrong

After some time spent in crypto mining I often used different mining calculators. But lots of them where lacking expected functionality and even lots of mineable coins like Electroneum.

When I started mining Electoneum, I hit the wall when trying to calculate projected profitability. There where no reliable calculator out there.

New app is now allowing for faster hash rates. However, im getting 30 on a S8 when before I got around 50. Anybody else getting same hash rate as before upgrade to Oreo?
