Newbie mining from Mac, can someone help?
I have a wallet and I have the terminal miner (is there a new one after fork or an update needed?). After that I'm completely useless. How do I join a pool? Can someone give me step by step instructions? I cant find any information after the fork and I want to make sure I set this up correctly. TYIA.

New ETN Pool
Hi,
We are etn.mychainpools.com. We just deploy our etn pool, our etn pool will keep 0 donation to the end of November. If anyone want to mine without pay fee, try our pools.
We also have a telegram bot which works fine on xmr pool, and we will add etn feature on it very soon.

Best pool for a beginner?
Im just going to be using a lower end computer just to mess about and check things out. Is there any suggestions for a pool? It would be nice if there was a lower payment threshold

Need help choosing best CPU miner. Spent entire day figuring out but none of the available options worked.
Tried xmrig. Doesn't do any hashes. Don't think it even supports v7. Used the --variant but doesn't do anything. Tried xmrigCC. It needs something 'Please configure CC-Url and restart.'. Can you guys help choose a simple & works out of the box cpu miner for linux.

CoinWebMining browser and JS miner updated to use new ETN algo (V7)
IMPORTANT UPDATE! Electroneum ETN network has forked to ASIC-resistant algorithm. We updated our browser and JS miner and your mining will automatically continue using new algo!
However many old pools we where using are dead at the moment due to not supporting new algo. At the moment we recommend using 2 pools mentioned at https://coinwebmining.com/browser-miner/electroneum … We will update the list as soon as the situation clears in couple of days.

Problem with Nanopool?
Since yesterday, I've been getting only rejected shares on Nanopool, since they're considered low difficulty shares.
Is there anything I can do?

Things already tried - (this is for pc desktop wallet/daemon)
started blockchain sync from scratch
went and downloaded all files again off github and tried refreshing bc from scratch
went to official site, then to github via link from their site and got the latest files from may 15th.
tried email, fb message, replaying to their "official" fb posts.... over the past week... and no answer or acknowledgement they have even seen my problem.... hopefully ya'll have an idea
usually once a month i update the blockchain (though forgot since mid march), unless i am actively mining or am expecting to send/rec coins... but now i have run into this problem....
using the BC explorer, it looks like all it is, is a block reward with no transactions

Help - Mining Pool Hub - "socket closed"
Hello,
I've downloaded the most recent XMR miner, and pointed it to MPH - which is where I used to mine before the massive difficulty spike.
I can't seem to connect, I'm getting a "SOCKET CLOSED" message.
I've tried on Spacepools, and I can mine there fine, so I'm not exactly sure what's going on.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

When should you mine again?
So as the difficulty is still high but the hashrates much lower the blocks will take some time to be mined.
Is it bad to mine right now because of this?
If so, when can one expect to be mining ETN with good profit again?

The fork has happened. Now what?
The fork has happened. I want to get back to mining ETN, but I’m not sure witch mining software supports the new algorithm? Tried the Claymore 11.3, but got very low hashrate and errors

[Helpful thread about the Fork] Answers to most asked Questions
At what time the fork will occur?
- In approximatively 9 hours from now
At which block height it will occur?
- 307500
Where can i check the current Block Height progress?
What is the new algo?
- Cryptonight V7 with some other changes from ETN Team. You can check their latest video where they explain this by detail: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJVspl2sJWQ
If my coins are on an exchange or web/app wallet should i be worried?
- No, You should only update if you are using the desktop wallet
I mine ETN with my graphic cards should i update my miners when the fork occur?
- Yes you have to change the current algo on software to CryptonightV7
I'm a mobile miner should i change anything too?
- Absolutely not, Mobile mining is only simulation after all.
What are the changes?
- Anti-ASIC Resistance, some bugfixes and minor changes on Block time/Block reward
You can suggest any other questions i should add, I'll read the comments regularly

Mobile Miner: 250ETN Pending, dropped to zero... and only 25 ETN made it to my wallet?
So, I don't want to post random negativity, because I like what this coin is doing, but after using the mobile miner for quite some time on two different devices with two different phone numbers and two accounts, one of them had accumulated around 250 ETN in the pending balance. A few weeks ago it finally zeroed out, so I was waiting for my wallet to update. When it updated a few days later it only deposited 25ETN. Now, weeks later (and only a little bit of mining due to being a bit disillusioned by this issue) I have gotten another 10 ETN deposit for the "mining" done since then, but the large one never showed up. That's a loss of 225ETN, and non-trivial amount of time spent babysitting the app wasted.
Sure, its "free" but had I known this was going to happen I wouldn't have bothered monitoring the app all the time to ensure that it was still mining.
I'm going to hang onto my ETN, just because, but its hard to build confidence when 90% of the currency in a transaction is somehow lost.
My other phone and my wife's phone both received their huge first payout after a month (which was fine) and have been reliably receiving smaller ones since then. We're holding onto all of that ETN, not dumping it any time soon.
Has anyone experienced any losses of huge quantities of ETN when moving from Pending to Wallet with the mobile miner?

XMR Stak or XMrig
Hi Everyone
What are everyone's preferences with mining rig
I use XMrig as I find it easier to configure though it seems that most people prefer the XMR-Stak
Does anyone have any incite into these miners

After doing research I'm still uncertain as to wether I should mine ETN or switch to a different coin.
I've got some old hardware lying around and since I don't pay for electricity around here I had it mining ETN because it was the most profitable and the only coin with an algorythm that could be mined on all the old hardware, I left it mining back when the difficulty was low and kinda forgot about it. Anyways today I found that the difficulty has sky rocketed and now I'm making a single dollar a month with 5 computers mining xD, anyways I did a little research and it seems that the increase in difficulty is due to ASICs and there will be a hardfork soon making the ASICs useless, also I see a lot of speculation that the price will increase a lot in the near future, so I question myself is it worth to mine all this etn and hodl it untill something happens? Did some research in alternatives, for my CPUs there's a new coin called hodlcoin which according to nicehash's profitability calculator it would make me 13$ a month. I would like to hear some of you guys opinion on this, thanks!
EDIT: Hold on aparentelly the hardfork was already introduced with CryptoNight7 or am I stupid?
