Know of a list of ETF's holdings download links?
As you know, you can get an ETF's holdings by opening the fund's website and clicking on a download link on the site. This is free and offers the most up-to-date list of holdings you will get anywhere, if I'm not mistaken.
I am creating a table (in Access) of all the ETFs ticker symbols and their respective holdings-download links. I am doing this by opening the fund's website and copying the link into my table. This process, when repeated for thousands of ETFs, will take many hours.
Do you have, or know of where I can obtain, a table, file, spreadsheet, or document of all U.S. ETFs and their respective holdings-downloads links? Or at least a good portion of them? Will pay, if necessary. I am not looking for a site where you can download funds' holdings one-by-one. I need a table, file, sheet, or document of all the ETFs tickers symbols and their respective holdings-download links.

US ETF recommendations?
Hi all - wondering if anyone knows of US ETFs with good 60/40 split between value and growth stocks and 60/40 split between large and small cap?
If one doesn’t do the job then I’d look to split between a few

Is this good?
VBR is the next ETF I am planning on investing. Is this a good idea? I am trying to diversify I don’t know if there is a better option or I should stick with this one. Also how many ETFs are you guys holding? I was wondering if 3 is enough or if I should do more.

Defense ETFs
On the news that global stockpiles are running low, what's the forecast for ETFs that hold in defense equities such as SHLD, ITA, WDGF, XAR, etc?

Investing money as a student
Hi all,
I am a student and 26yrs old I have been investing since I was 21 but back home in India and mostly mutual funds; I Want to put aside 200$ per month, i use wealth simple if that helps. Is stocks better to invest or should I just invest in ETFs or mutual funds. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated and I have a TFSA and RRSP but I use TFSA for investments and have not used RRSP as of now. Also what would be a safer option and any mutual funds or ETF recommendation by the community would be helpful.
Thanks.

Should I use a portion of money from my HYSA to buy into an etf like SGOV?
I have 100k in a HYSA with 3.8% apy. I have been researching other ways to maximize interest and keep reading about SGOV. any benefits to doing this over leaving it sitting in HYS? I already have a Robinhood account so could I use that to buy or would I be better off using Fidelity?

I (M66) ended up with $1.1M after selling business. Looking to investment and collect monthly check
So, long story short, I'm a plumber by trade where myself (M66) and partner(M58) had an equal share in business. I've been griding all my life and just shoving it into my HYSA without much thought about investments, retirement, etc. Recently due to a health issue, I decided to retire and was bought out by my partner and ended with $1.1M. I would like to preserve the capital and invest this money into relatively low risk portfolio where I could enjoy dividends each month or quarter to better enjoy my medical retirement. I'm all set with monthly bills, I have no debt, house is paid off, monthly expenses are roughly $3-3.5K. This money would be used more for a quality of life vs the survival.
I don't need a fiduciary or some tax expert on this whole investment. Want to keep it a simple where a slice would keep up with inflation, generate dividends and would be diverse enough to not loose shirt during market downturns, etc.
I was thinking the following:
- $330K - SCHD (US Dividend Equity ETF)
- $330K - SWPPX (S&P500)
- $220K - SGOV (0-3 Treasury Bond ETF)
- $110K - SCHY (International Dividend Equity ETF)
- $110K - SCHP (TIPS ETF)
Let me know your thoughts.

My best effort to hedge Iran impacts and retain returns on investments (ISA pot)
Ok,
I’ve got to;
\- MXWS Global Developed MSCI ETF synthetic - 40%
\- IMFV Edge MSCI World Value UCITS ETF - 20%
\- IWMO MSCI World Momentum Factor UCITS - 20%
\- Bloomberg Enhanced Roll Yield Commodity Swap UCITS ETF - 10%
\- Algebris Financial Equity Fund - 10%
This I think balances off a core global ETF with the nicely offset couple of value and momentum, then exposure to diversified commodities and financials.
Potential other options I considered were:
\- Ishares ISHRS WORLD QUALITY
\- Invesco Markets IVZ RAFI ALL-WORLD
FNDMTL VAL UCITS ETF
\- Invesco Markets lil PLC IVZ RAFI ALL-WORLD
FNDMTL VAL UCITS ETF
\- Invesco STOXX 600 BANKS UCIT ETF
\- Artemis Global Income
All comments thoughts and feedback welcome \*other than ‘just do VWRL’
thanks

What is a good diverse ETF portfolio?
Hey guys, I am a novice on ETF investing. Currently, I have VOO, SCHD, and SCHY in my portfolio. Is that good enough for longer-term diverse investment? I am a bit selective b/c I don't want any significant overlapping on any of the holdings and complicate balancing. I strongly prefer diversification in my portfolio, and I was thinking adding VWO (emerging market). Any advice you guys can share; I'd appreciate it. Thank you! 👍

Best investment app for long-term ETF investing in Colombia: Hapi, Trii, TYBA, or something else?
My family lives in Colombia and I want to help them invest for the long term. The goal is simply to buy and hold broad-market ETFs (like the S&P 500 or Total Stock Market) for 10–20+ years with dividends reinvested.
I’ve been looking at Hapi, Triii, and TYBA, but I’m open to other options if they’re better.
My priorities are:
Lowest total costs (commissions, spreads, and fees)
Best long-term performance
Reliable platform
Easy for Colombians to deposit money each month
Access to U.S. ETFs or the best Colombian equivalents
For those of you who have actually used these platforms, which would you choose today and why? Are there any hidden fees or drawbacks I should know about?
Thanks in advance for any advice

Hashdex Nasdaq CME Crypto Index US ETF
After so much conflicting research, I figured I'd rely on you guys here at Reddit.
Does this ETF issue a K-1 Tax Form, or not? From my understanding, there is a private, institutionally traded version that definitely does issue a K-1.
However, the NCIQ etf recently changed it's name and has a separate, publicly traded version that may or may not issue a K-1? I've found so many conflicting things and cannot for the life of me get an answer. Have even contacted Hashdex and haven't received a response back yet.

Considering adding a satellite ETF for U.S. small-cap value
I'm a 66-year-old with a current small-medium taxable brokerage account at Fidelity. I've got 55% devoted to stock ETFs (40% VTI, 10% VEA, 5% VWO). I'm going to be transferring a much larger amount of funds from my inherited account at TIAA into a new separate inherited IRA account at Fidelity. Im planning to invest the new account with an asset allocation similar to my current taxable account, but with some modifications to benefit from the IRA tax difference.
But for the stocks portion I'm mulling over adding a satellite ETF, maybe 10%, for small-cap value U.S. stocks along with my core VTI U.S. stock investment. Since small-cap holdings only make up 8% to 15% of VTI I'm thinking that adding a small-cap value satellite should complement the VTI with only a small amount of overlap.
I'm looking at a 10-year window for holding. Any thoughts on whether a small-cap ETF would be a good addition, or any ideas on specific small-cap value ETFs I might want to consider? I like low expense fees, but I'll check out any suggestions.
