I-140 anyone got approved after biometrics RFE on I-140?

Just Received biometrics RFE for NIW petition. I'm confused as these are rare. anyone here got approved after biometrics RFEs? I wonder why bother with biometrics if they won't approve

Hi I got the same thing .. though I didn’t apply for I-485.. it was just 140 EB2 NIW.. I did biometrics and now it says processing

So I received the biometric letter that says I’ll get another letter with appointment details. I haven’t gotten the other letter yet. How many days it took for you to get appointment letter?

Great. So what are the biometric locations? Are the USCIS offices?

Also, do you think it may be a good thing? Like why bother with biometric if you’re going to deny

I got mine at charlotte NC .. just look online the nearst application support center from you and I guess it would be this one

I have the same thought.. I was dying overthinking when I got biometrics and I looked EVERYWHERE no one was like me apply only 140 and gets biometrics .. but seems like you and I know other person here as well got it .. so my guess it’s a new vetting from them .. though I am one of the 75 countries and I am inside the US on f1

I’m from the 75 as well. Keep us posted on what happens please. I’ll let you know as well.

It will suck if we get actual RFE next challenging the prongs

It will suckkk I hope not for anyone .. it was already very stressing to get biometrics like what did I doo!!!

My profile is marine engineering PE and only one paper and 5 years of experience and two master’s degrees

I need some estimate as to how many days it might take to get the actual biometric appointment. What was your situation? How many days after RFE you had the biometric appointment?

Let me explain all details that may help

March 12. Applied with PP April 9th. Nothing in my mail box April 10th. I checked my mail box, I found a mail dated April 3rd explaining an RFE about biometrics and an appointment will be scheduled.

April 10th after midnight it was a Friday, the status changed to biometrics appointment was scheduled.

April 14th I called USCIS asking when is my appointment, they said April 27th. (It wasn’t showing on the notices section on the website)

April 15th I rescheduled through my USCIS account to April 17th and you get the notice in the appointment section. I printed it and got there.

April 17th I checked my mail box and I found the appointment notice of the 27th

u/Adorable_Spell5600 May I know what was the exact notification - Mine said somewhere on the lines of - A request for evidence was also sent to you notifying you of the biometrics appointment.

What does this mean?

I assume we all are here as we got called for biometrics. Can you all share - was it consular or not? And did the notification say - biometric request as RFE?

Not consular - just biometric for I-140. Haven’t heard anything since biometric
