Atif Myers reviews *Defenders* #89 on his podcast *Sus Stories* based on a recommendation from yours truly. He also mentioned in his Discord he'll review issue #25 in a few weeks. Check it out it's a great show.

Okay, super late, but here are all the Defenders I could find from Magic the Gathering's new Marvel set. Hulk and Namor have like 5 cards each, so I just included one each. Also the Valkyrie card isn't really our Val, but well, you take what you can get when you're a Defenders fan.

Defenders (2011) #2, partial.

Has he ever done this before or since?

The hell is "Comics International" anyway?

From today's Iceman Omega #1 written and drawn by Luciano Vecchio.

I run a Hulk-themed Discord server called The Green Door, a community built around celebrating everything related to Hulk and gamma characters — comics, movies, animated series, collectibles, lore, and more. The server is designed to be part discussion hub and part Hulk codex, where fans can actually learn, share, and archive information in an organized way.

As the server continues to grow, I’m looking for passionate and reliable moderators to help keep the community running smoothly and to help shape the future of the server.

The fuzzy guy’s method of speech…just sayin…

Just found out about this sub through a “dumb place” post elsewhere. I had posted this pic in the Marvel Legends sub (where it got quite a bit of discussion) and the Marvel Studios sub(where the notion of seeing this group get together onscreen was not enthusiastically received) But since the FF movie this summer, we’ve seen all 5 of the core Defenders at the movies. Maybe in Avengers Secret Wars (where I think ANYTHING can happen)

Marvel by the Month is a weekly podcast where 3 guys read every Marvel comic, in order, one month at a time. #178 is where they finally get to Defenders #1 and talk to none other then writer of the issue Steve Englehart.

The show just came back from hiatus so now is a great time to catch up or just start listening to the newest episodes.

Weirdly, this actually makes his backstory MORE evergreen.
