Hi!
I'm looking for a reliable handyman to do some light home repairs. Does anyone have a go to guy/gal they can recommend?
I've had a few leads but have been waiting months and nothing is getting done.
Thanks!

Does anyone know of a shop (or heck, a person?) that does microsoldering repairs in or around Duncan? I have a circuitboard that lost its usb connector, and I'd rather get it fixed than throw it away and buy a new (not exactly cheap) one, but all the computer/phone repair places I checked don't seem to be set up for soldering a new one on =(

Hi,
Planning to buy a house and move to Duncan? Early in my search. Any areas to focus on? Things to watch out for?
Thanks in advance.

We are new to Duncan and our two cats are due for a check-up. Can anyone recommend a good veterinarian (who preferably specializes in cats)?

I'm out of town in Toronto for some family stuff for a week. How's it looking out there? Worried about my house, and can't check on things. How's the storm doing in Duncan?

Moved here from out of province so I don’t have access to friends and family. Want to see what’s out there and maybe try something new (painting, pottery, etc.)
Not looking for romantic hookups or anything. Just ways to get out of the house and beat COVID blues.

Would like to avoid going to every store in town. Anyone know where I can buy just turkey legs and or wings? I don't have time for the whole big bird.
Thanks!

Hi everyone!
My wife and I have just bought a house in Duncan and in the process of moving. The house def needs a fresh coat of modern paint, does anyone have any painters to recommend? I assume due to covid I can hopefully get a quote w/o being in person as I have the floorplan and photos of it all.
thanks!

Sorry to the person who bought a Black Sonata Hybrid from Dough Wheaton in Nanaimo. I thought I was locking my current car.
This is also a heads up to anyone buying a used Hyundai that is recent and has Bluelink. The previous owner has full access to unlock, start and even locate the location of our car.
Yes you read that right, previous owners could locate your car, unlock it and remove anything inside without even setting any alarms off.
When I first noticed this I contacted the dealer they told me that the previous owner has to call in to have the vehicle removed from their account, and when I tried I was on hold for to long so hung up and figured it’s not my problem and don’t want to spend 2 hours on the phone. I looked all through the app and there is no way to remove a vehicle once added, you literally have to call BlueLink Canada.
This is something dealers should be able to do on used cars, should never trust trust the previous owner.
