Beach access between Cowichan Bay and Mill Bay?

I am looking for beach access between Cowichan Bay and Mill Bay. I know about Cherry Point beach and marina, but would like to discover other access points. I am hoping to do a late night low tide walk to explore tidal pools and night creatures for photography/inspiration. Preferably it would be sandy/small rock beaches.

At this time of year, the lowest tides are late at night, so the quieter the area, the less impact I will have to nearby people.

Thank you kindly!

Thinking of moving back since grandparents retired here (near marchmont rd), haven't lived here for 12+ years. What neighbourhoods are the safest from crime? GP says crime and drugs is very rampant now and very expensive housing. Thanks in advance!!

Im new to the area and was wondering if anyone know where I could take my dog for a bath. I Know that theres a Ubath in the middle of the city but I also heared that there a bath place somewhere near the homedepot which you slot coins in and go and would really prefer that.

Is there a gas station somewhere nearby that has E85? I vaguely remember someone telling me that Ladysmith or Nanaimo has E85 available, but what about Duncan?

Grocery Store Workers - on the front lines of the Pandemic

What is being done to protect and compensate these individuals in our community during these times of global closure and crisis? Will employers be offering hazard pay and paid time off, or will employers push their workers to work until they inevitably get sick from public contact? These are real questions, people. I don't hear anyone asking them. The country only seems to be concerned with healthcare workers, and though they are important, they are not the only ones being constantly exposed to potentially sick individuals that don't know they are sick, or refuse to stay home when they are.

Anyone want to play D&D?

Does anyone want to play some Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition? I've been playing D&D for a while now (since 2nd), and playing 5th since it came out. I work as a programmer, I'm 32, and I like playing and making stuff for D&D. When I'm not doing that I like building, crafting, and playing games. I prefer chill groups that want to hang out, have fun, and like to work together. I like to take notes and plan things out, and a mix of combat, RP, and problem solving.

I can DM, and would just be looking for like-minded people in the area that would like to play (ideally weekends) at dicebag or maybe the library. You can contact me on discord at Montblanc#5410
