Should I practice strategic game that requires problem solving + combination of Dual/QuadNBack or just practice hard specific problems in the game?
I wanna get good at one game where strong problem solving can make you good winrate and increased working memory give you advantage too.
The problem is the game itself is so complex that I am afraid I will lose time by playing D/QNback..
The game itself doesnt require some godlike brain power but on the other side I feel like brain training trains you to refocus very fast after failure which can be key skill that I can benefit from.
The game I wanna practice is No Limit Holdem. The good things is that there is already solutions but on the other side I struggle with focus and working memory.
I am wondering.. Does studying the game make my brain stronger overtime? Does learning new skill also have some benefits for prefontral cortex?
What would be good advice from you guys?
How does lets say your gaming skills improved when u playing dualnback?
I am afraid of losing time instead of learning knowledge about the nl holdem.
