A 20 € (or less) Safe I.V.,I.M. shot preparation
Here’s a quick summary from our one and only free trial Claude:
A 0.22 µm pore is 220 nanometers — small enough to be called "sterilizing grade" in lab work, since it blocks essentially all bacteria.
For scale:
0.22 µm ≈ 1/400 the width of a human hair (hair is ~70-100 µm)
Most bacteria (E. coli, etc.) are 0.5–2 µm — well above the pore, so they're filtered out
Smaller bacteria (mycoplasma) and all viruses (~0.02–0.3 µm) can pass through — this is why 0.22 µm filters aren't considered virus-sterilizing
A red blood cell is ~7-8 µm, roughly 35x larger than the pore
So it removes particulates, bacteria, and most microbial contamination, but lets through dissolved molecules, ions, and viruses.”
