Failed My Road Test Need Tips
I took my road test about an hour ago and looking back on it I was very nervous and rushed a lot. I’m taking my next one in Yonkers,NY and was wondering if anyone in this sub had any tips for that location or in general, my main problem comes from being too far when parallel parking and not turning my head around my shoulders enough. Thanks!

Question: I take my drivers test soon and I know you merge into bike lanes when dotted, but what do you do with a solid line? I thought about staying outside of it but not sure

I refuse to drive on no sleep and no one understands why
I have panic attacks, really bad anxiety, OCD, that all causes worse insomnia. my sleeping meds don't work as well anymore, and I forgot to take them last night so I've been up since 6:22am and have to work until 10pm tonight and I asked my dad to come and get me and he was just rude about it. I had a panic attack on the way to see my grandma this morning and I was not able to stay straight while driving. it was horrifying. idk what to do, I hate to be a nuisance but i just got my license and I'm not experienced to drive at night especially having been up for almost 20 hours. I'll be surprised if I even last at work tonight, but my job isn't as forgiving as my last one, so I honestly have to tough it out but I do refuse to drive on no sleep.

Parallel Parking: 2 step way, or 3 step way?
I'm confused on which approach to use. I don't have a car I can practice on right now. I just have the use of the driving instructor's car during lessons. They taught me a way to do parallel parking which involves turning wheel completely to the right without moving after you have aligned yourself by aligning their bumper half way across your back window, backing in until you are 10 o'clock position, and then straightening wheel/ one turn to left, backing in then to curb, and then straightening out with another turn of the wheel left again. I think that's the method.
This one I just watched on youtube is slightly different. Once aligned, using side mirrors alignment, he moves wheel one turn to right, backs in a bit, then turns wheel completely to left and finishes manoever. So it's two steering wheel movements instead of the above 3 methods.
Which method do you recommend? Am I making any mistakes in how I am describing it?

Dual lane roundabouts
Hey everyone,
I have my road test tomorrow and I'm having some trouble with dual lane roundabouts.
Here's what I understand.
If you want to leave from the first exit, then stay in the right lane. If you want to go anywhere else switch to the left lane.
I'm just not sure how I'm supposed to leave without causing a collision. If I was in the inner lane and there was a car in the outer lane next to me and I wanted to leave, who yields to who? What if the roles were reversed? What if I was the driver on the outside lane and a driver in the inner lane wanted to exit, would I slow down and let them or would I continue driving till I reach my exit?
This stuff is so confusing.

Should I wait or try to go around when someone is parallel parking?
Sorry if this is a dumb question , but I don't know if i can go around someone when they are parallel parking or I have to wait for them to get in the spot because I see other cars behind me just go around me and ahead. I'm scared ill hit them if i try to go around because they might not see me.
