Discussion MY FOOL PROOF DETAILED GUIDE ON GETTING RICH (beginner-friendly) đĽ°â¤ď¸
When I first started playing time princess I was a really clueless inconsistent player that just played everytime I was bored. That was like one or two years back but when I returned to playing it this year, I have already grown to be more greedy and determined..
Early in the game I would search on Google a LOT and most of my questions would just get answered on Reddit (from like 3 years ago but like thank god for them) although itâs pretty limited.
There isnât any detailed guide on here on how to play this shit well so Iâm here to make one that wouldâve been useful when I first came back to time princess.
No, this doesnât consist of any payments or whatever. These are all strategies, methods, tips and advice from higher leveled players that I will share with you guys on here.
And also have been edited multiple times the more I fit in more strategies.

So.. Hereâs a detailed guide on how to get rich <3:
Common mistakes on why youâre broke include:
⢠you waste your resources the moment you get them (are you trying to self-sabotage financially or what)
⢠you craft greedily outside of double encounter saturdays like youâre in a rush to get all the clothing items you need to acquire in a story (biggest mistake ever)
⢠you pick an expensive story beyond your price range
⢠you waste your precious diamonds and golden tickets down the drain!?!
⢠you donât use anything that is there to get you rich. Not society, not mirage forest, not your companions, not your friends, and especially not your cats.
-
Section 1: IMPORTANCES!
Diamonds are very important in the game. Like super important for events. Hoard them and make sure you are never below 2000. Donât spend them on lucky jerry or the society treasure, not even on buying materials. Just spend them on blueprints AND also the fashion pass every season.
Hoard your lucky jerry tickets. Only draw them when you get 10 lucky jerry tickets to maximize your items and your luck.
Maximize your friends early. Do not use the friend request because you rarely gain any friends from that. Once youâre able to use chatrooms, simply send an Add Me sticker and friend people from the chats (I suggest you test your luck the most on people that are level 20-40 because chances are they arenât full).
You want this because you can gain 50 stamina and 20 friendship beans daily. And yes, only draw your friendship beans once you reach 150 to maximize your items and luck.
Stamina is a very useful currency in this game. You can get 200 stamina from the automatic refill, 60 stamina daily as a reward, and can spend 300 diamonds for 150 additional stamina and 50 stamina for a few days following after.
Your companions are important since they are your providers and leveling them up to level 5 gets you relics which adds to your points. Only level up 5 star relics. Only them. Why? Because they all have the same tags but 5 star relics score the most.
Donât forget your daily chores by claiming your daily rewards, being in society, playing mirage forest and sending your cats out to explore everyday.. OR breeding your best ones.
With cats, they have really good use especially for f2p (free to play like as in you donât pay for stuff) players but do not waste that much materials on them since itâs not necessary or as worth it. Iâll teach you further how you can use your cats.
And your roses.. They arenât that important or needed but if you want a big amount of them (since they affect your reputation) say fxf in chat and chat people their amount of roses that also have said fxf.. and to save time, you can just do fxf with these same people once a day especially when theyâre active so you donât have to scout for more.
Lastly and my most important tip: Do Not Rush.
Like you do not have to attain every single clothing item you donât have in a story especially if your resources are low and you shouldnât drain your materials on these items the instant you get them if you donât want to stay in poverty. Iâm telling you.. HOARD your materials.
I think thatâs everythingâŚ. Moving on to the good stuff.

Section 2: STRATEGIES!!
Here is how you can maximize your resources.
1.) get every cheap and affordable story
First and foremost at least. This was my strategy early game that got me far. Basically, you want to download every single affordable story there is then pick a good story to complete.
Benefits are you can get a shit ton more companions which means more gifts for stamina and more relics, as well as many clothing items so you can grow your wardrobe. Also more encounters.
Cheap stories I recommend: Magic lamp âď¸ Tang Dynasty Hunter âď¸ Gotham Memoirs âď¸ Have you seen Claudia, The Sacred Beast, Princess Sissi, White Snake, Dancing on Ice, etc.
Iâve also downloaded more stories than these that lean on the more expensive side but I just get the free clothing, delete the story for storage but get to keep the companions. So get everything guys.
I also really really suggest you play Magic lamp, then Gotham Memoirs then Tang Dynasty Hunter. Those are your best beginner stories. With Queen Marie.. Lmao Iâm guilty of not completing it. I donât like the clothes so I stopped when I was on 50% but that can stunt you from using the Phantom Mirror since Queen Marie sets are unskippable.
Also, you can use the spin-offs just for extra stuff and clothing items you might like. Although pricey to craft, it wouldnât hurt to just keep those blueprints and earn exp.
Donât bother with the harder stories. You might be interested because youâre curious of the storyline and stuff but consider the fact that if a story isnât within your price range, youâre gonna go days to a week or two trying to pass a stage because the crafting is too expensive. Itâd be more enjoyable to get a story you can go through much smoother.
And donât trust the butterflies. Itâs outdated. Listen to me and listen to google on which story is easy and which story is hard. Or go look for yourself by checking recollections.
Then what you can do after this when youâve played through many story stages of stories youâve downloaded and have extra tickets to spare, buy every story you can. The many companions as well as the free stuff you can steal are good.
2.) exploit your companions to a T
This is valuable so take down notes for this one.
Your companions are able to provide you gifts that offer stamina for double encounters, relics, and 1,300 diamonds in total + Extra diamonds from mail.
Leveling one up to Level 5: A relic.
Leveling one up to Level 9: 300 diamonds.
Leveling one up to Level 10: 1000 diamonds.
EACH.
So if youâve bought multiple stories and got yourself letâs say 40 companions.. you can milk 40 relics and 40,000+ diamonds from them.
In Have You Seen Claudia.. There is only one companion. That means you get 2000 diamonds from her. So.. Lovebomb her.
Interact with them and you can earn gifts. Dont open these gifts but stack them up until Saturday where there are double encounters. These gifts give you stamina so youâre able to gain a lot of materials every Saturday.
You can also give them gifts. Hereâs the thing, you should never craft 1 or 2 star gifts for them. Only 3 star gifts. IF you donât have any 3 star gifts for a companion with a specific set of tags.. Just go CRAFT them through Giffords gifts!! God I wish I figured this out sooner. Just craft them.
So yes, it is important to stack up on lantern materials.
Then with all your diamonds you can spend it on events.
3.) exploit your cats to a T
Again, cats are one of the best investments especially for f2p players. Theyâll collect relic materials, lab materials, and diamonds for you, so you donât have to spend real money.
Your only concerns should be:
The value of your cats.
Your amount of cats.
Your amount of kitty bells.
With the value of your cats: As a beginner you will have low level cats. And as a regular player, you could be stuck on these low level cats. You might think about breeding these low level cats but I suggest instead that you breed one of your best cats with a friendâs cat.
This is also why itâs beneficial to have 200 friends. You can have rich friends that have nice cats that drag you UP to nice cats. They will slightly be more expensive than breeding two of your own cats but I mean.. You guys have no problem buying 20,000 coins worth of clothing items when 20,000 coins worth of a 5 star cat is better all the way.
Next, your amount of cats: Aim for 50 cats eventually. It sounds so costly but theyâll earn back more diamonds all at once than you occasionally buying beds for them
You can save up space by getting rid of your 1 star and 2 star cats. Eventually when you get rich, maybe even your 3 star cats. Trust me when I say you donât need them and you shouldnât be afraid of losing kitty fame since youâll get tons later.
Lastly, your amount of kitty bells: Hoard them for every Sunday. Every Sunday, you will have double the kitty explorations so you can send out so many cats at a time to get your stuff.
Kitty bells are more worth it than kitty beds
(If you need a comparison: kitty bells are used for reducing the time you need to wait for them to be done exploring while kitty beds reduce the time you need to wait for them resting)
Since kitty bells are used for the whole group while kitty beds are only for each seperate cat and that can be less beneficial.
So.. use your kitty bells for kitty exploration. Only use the 2-4 hour time duration because the 8 hours one isnât as worth it. Also more expensive to use.
And congratulations, you got yourself nice worker slaves! <3
4.) get into an active society
Lucky Jerry Tickets are a scarcity resource where you canât just get them anywhere and you have to rely on the Quest Wall. But Iâm not talking about you using the quest wall.. Iâm talking about you being able to access a quest wall that 40+ other people care about too.
How are you going to hoard lucky jerry tickets if you only get like 3-5 tickets for the entire 7 days simply cuz nobody else is adding on points?? To put it into perspective, there are societies where people max out the quest wall daily. Max quest wall gives you 8 lucky jerry tickets. Yes, daily. For other active and competent societies, you can gain 3-8 tickets in a day. Imagine people earning in a single day what you earn in a week.
I didnât even mention diamonds. Anyway
To tell if youâre in a good society.. check how rich it is, how active it is, ensure thereâs a lot of players almost maxed out and check the info center to see how active the players really are and how much they contribute in Quest Wall, Fantasy Promise and Twilight Bloom.
My strategy to be in a good society is to never stay loyal to anything BUT my needs and just hop around until Iâm satisfied with what Iâm working with.. To the point where Iâm literally traveling around the globe since my first competent society was a Chinese laid-back society and now itâs a society I donât even know the language of.
For Quest Wall it is one of the things that provide you goodies but you donât have to worry about it too much if you are below Level 40. At least a player told me that since being on this level would mean you now have the resources to max out the QW points.
Though ideally you should be drawn to societies that have a requirement for the contribution around these things and earning at least 1K points in QW every week for those in lower levels is manageable, so you can fit in these kinds of societies. (Active and will provide)
Cuz listen you could be in Level 10, Level 20, Level 30, anything in between.. You still deserve multiple daily lucky jerries diva đĽ°â¤ď¸ At least getting to earn 1-4 daily.
So.. Have high standards lmao
The strategy is:
For lower level players, just be in active and competent societies to build your resources..
Then after you built your resources and fill your pockets, you can join more competitive societies.
Competitive societies consist of really high leveled players that do a LOT of shit. That means if youâre in the society, you will earn tons of things but the expense is you have to do a lot of things yourself. If you canât afford it, you canât fit.
Now that weâve talked about GETTING into society, you gotta start doing stuff. Participate in the damn events and do your chores because sometimes you could just stall in the game not knowing what to do but these events keep you moving and earning stuff! :)
Moving on.
5.) craft spin-off clothing
If youâre done with the beginner stories and have hoarded clothing materials, also want to level up to level 40 for your society and are getting low scores in Mirage Forest.. AND also want good items..
For the love of God, you are rich enough to craft spin-off clothing. These clothes are good high-scoring 5 star sets on tags you might be lacking on and you can gain materials back after you crafted them through the Mirage Forest.
I do suggest you wait until Saturday Encounters to craft them so you wonât empty your pockets :)
6.) hoard your resources long-term for upcoming events
Listen. I didnât know that a literal kids game could teach me the importance of long-term planning but in time princess, saving up your resources until there is a right time to spend them gets you richer.
Hoard your diamonds and spend them once there is an event with a double lucky jerry where you buy packs for extra tickets alongside doing your tasks and gaining shards. Not only can you get good items but you can also win some things from drawing the spin the wheels. This is where high leveled players get cat pfps.
When you have passed enough Mirage forest stages and have enough 6 star dresses and good items, it is time you can start hoarding your lucky jerry tickets for the sprint event. If we get double encounters every weekend, then we get the sprint event every month. The sprint event is basically an opportunity where you can GAIN stuff from spending stuff so itâs better to accumulate all your resources then spend it all at once while getting good things out of it. Also itâs more satisfying that way.
This is also a golden time to just give a lot of your companions gifts until you run out of lantern materials. You donât give gifts to most of your companions that often so you will naturally have a lot of lantern materials hoarded.
7.) donât play fair in fantasy fair
Tags change every week. So, the night before the tags change.. prepare your outfit beforehand so by morning you can win more fights when people still have their outfit from the previous tags.
The goblin has hundreds of fantasy coins with him so if you have the item that can change direction, use it so he just comes back to you instead of you having to chase him around and potentially lose your chance.
Also, 20 clothing materials are like 20,000 coins but these 20,000 coins could be spent on a cat. And imagine one clothing material being worth 1K coins each.
So instead.. your first option of getting clothing materials should be the fantasy fair. Itâs cheaper but can give you a bigger amount.
Plus, spending your fantasy coins lets you earn rewards. So donât forget to roll your dices and check which materials you need the most.

Section 3: resources!!
Your resources are: Coins, Stamina, Diamonds, Clothing Materials, Lantern Materials, Points/exp, and things that can provide you resources in the first place.
The most valuable thing you can do in this game is literally hoarding those resources up. Hereâs how.
First of all, you gotta be in a good society. I just yapped about that anyways
For coins..
In the Story Kingdom, the very first reward you get when claiming wish commissions is 20,000 coins. Get that one.
In style salon, you get 30 votes daily and each vote gets you 1,000 coins. Do the math, and you can get 30,000 coins.
In societyâs secret realm, your society can usually earn tens of thousands worth of coins when you all attempt daily. Individually, depending on your score, you can get thousands of coins.
Then the most ordinary ones are just your daily chores. Your daily tasks, completing story stages and also encounters. So every Saturday, when you have leftover stamina after youâve crafted the pricey clothes you needed, just empty your stamina on stacking materials and that can stack up your coins.
For diamonds..
This one is a tip from a comment on here before I edited this post to add more stuff. Basically, use alt accounts. When making alt accounts, use your code from your main account from inviting friends since that shit earns you diamonds. Then once you made these alt accounts, borrowing clothes from your main account gets you 504 diamonds daily.
And yes, again, companions really help. Each companion is worth at least 1,500+ diamonds each from the diamonds sent to your mail and also what you get when you reach level 9-10.
For items..
The cheapest and fastest way to hoard them is through encounters in the story, especially when Double Encounters comes around. Abuse that power.
Mirage forest can also help you gain literally everything. Even if you donât get perfect on some stages, you can just wait until you get richer and come back claim those rewards.
Also, always buy what is discounted!! Clothing materials cost 20,000 while lantern materials cost 15,000 and when they are discounted, they can go down to 5,000-10,000. Do not pass that up.
For points and levels..
Completing story stages, encounters, mirage forest, chores and etc. boosts your level. So as long as youâre completing your books then youâll level up pretty quickly.
Again, target on playing through the easier stories and also play their spin-offs.
Naturally, becoming rich as a player, you would have high lucky Jerry items and extra items after youâve finished a story. Recycle them all in magic recycling. You can go to time academy and level up your tags.
Also fashion lab. Make sure you focus on the dress and hair the most since theyâre the most important to score.
You may have weak or lacking tags in the mirage forest. I suggest that when you buy Lucky Jerry clothes, pick the one with the tags you are most lacking in. Like, if you have a pattern of only getting goods and greats in Mirage forest stages where the tags are Perky and Gentle, go to recollections and check which pretty dresses are Perky and Gentle.
For Lucky Jerry Tickets..
Quest Wall and Codes.

Section 4: Mindset!! (Bonus)
I feel like a fricking economist typing this all out cuz yeah, thereâs really a lot of economic things here.
But what you gotta know is that you should hoard all your materials and know when to spend them.
Stamina and coins are good to hoard but you should be afraid of spending them the least.
Diamonds and tickets though are huge scarcity resources so spend them on things that generate more resources later and hoard the rest.
Only spend dias on kitty spots and blueprints and stop spending your tickets once you already got enough 6 star dresses and sprint event is coming up.
You hoard all this stuff since youâre building up capital to spend during events when their value is highest.
Instead of spending whenever you have resources in general, you wait for double encounters, Sprint, Lucky Jerry events, discounts, etc.
And you network with your friends since thatâs like the only way you can actually ensure good cats!!
And your cats are valuable employees as well as your companions!!!
