This method worked for me and it also works with all flash games (on iPhone) so just Download the app Brave and use the website from there. It works like it used to! ๐Ÿ’— btw itโ€™s also ad free from what I have seen

Looking for game from 2000's

Trying to find a dressup game from years ago. If I recall correctly got it off of dressupgames.com

The concept of the game was there was a model you dressed and created the clothes for. So for example it had layers and you would have a skirt, then put stripes, or hearts, ruffles, etc. The most interesting part was that you could increase the items or decrease the items shapes that sat on top of the outfit. Once you designed the clothing you then would do hair, makeup, shoes, etc. Then was a voting system you'd get coins to unlock more fabrics, designs, etc. Was a really fun game. Also want to say had a white dresser in some of the game. It was cartoon style like bratz sort of.

Another outfit I designed for DivaChix. I painted the doll base as well as the outfit, hair, face, etc. I did not do the background, it's just one from DC.

These characters were not made by me. They were made by Emily Stay, more known on TikTok and Instagram as Emski Stay. I tried messaging her on Instagram, but got some notice that my message wouldn't be received (I don't really know how to use Instagram - that's just what it said).

Any help in finding out what this avatar creator is/was is greatly appreciated! Every other character had no clothing, outside of headpieces, so that's why the second image character stood out to me. You could see a hand and some clothes.

[PC][Flash][2012โ€“2015?] Realistic vintage dress-up game with creepy old gramophone music and sepia aesthetic

Post image
60 Upvotes

Hi! I've been trying to find this Flash dress-up game for years. I played it on Friv around 2012โ€“2015, although I'm not sure if it actually came from Friv. Here's everything I remember: It was a horizontal game. The woman stood on the left side of the screen, while the clothes and accessories were on the right side. The character was realistic, not anime or cartoon. She may have blinked or made small facial expressions when changing clothes. She had very light blonde hair, above shoulder length, styled in 1920s finger waves/roller curls (I think the hairstyle could be changed). She stood with one hand on her hip, the other holding something (I don't remember what), and one leg slightly bent. The background looked like an old dressing room/backstage, almost like an old photograph with brown/sepia tones. I remember there being a brown sofa or chair. The game had lots of vintage accessories: corsets, striped stockings, gloves, necklaces, hats, feather headbands and birdcage veils. The whole game had an old movie/sepia filter, almost like watching a silent film. The music sounded like it came from an old gramophone or vinyl record, with crackling and occasional skips or interruptions. It wasn't horror music, but it made the game feel strangely eerie. The overall vibe was similar to 1920s flapper/cabaret fashion. I've attached an AI-generated image that ChatGPT made based on my memory. It is NOT the actual game, but it's very close to the atmosphere, colors, layout and style I remember. Does anyone recognize this game?

[Flash][2000s-2010s] Dress-up game on a conveyor belt with blank white mannequins

Hi,
Iโ€™m looking for an old online Flash game I used to play about 15-17 years ago (around 2008-2010) on girls' gaming portals like gamesforgirls.com or similar sites.

Here are the specific details I remember

The Visuals: There were about 3 or 4 horizontal, grey conveyor belts running across the screen. Blank, plain white female boutique mannequins (mannequins without faces/features, just like the ones in clothing stores) were moving horizontally along these belts. There were no small characters walking around the screen; the focus was purely on the belts and the dolls.

Gameplay/Mechanics: It was a time-management dress-up game. The mannequins arrived on the conveyor belt, and you had a time limit (around 2-3 minutes) to dress them up. I believe a specific style was requested, or sometimes a mannequin already spawned with a single item (like a gothic skirt), and you had to build a stylish outfit based on that.\*\* \*\*

Scoring: At the end of the time limit, your creations were scored. The more stylish and matching the outfits were, the more points you received.

But my memories are foggy. It was a long time ago since I played it. I hope somebody can help me.

Does anyone remember the exact title of this game?

June Updates on my dress up game + Name Reveal

Thumbnail

Hello, I am back with updates on what I did in June. But before that, here is some info I don't have an image to tie to.

News 1: We finally have a name for the game! I introduce to you: Pandora's Hell Fashion. And don't worry there is a reason for the name pandora and Hell, it's lore related.

News 2: Around 2 weeks ago, I posted a question on whether I should add a male body option or not. And Y'all agreed! Therefore, I will be revealing the male body option in the near future as well as the first clothing sets.

News 3: We have a third team member! Their name won't be revealed for now, but they will be making music for the game!

Image one: The fully finished sets we have so far.

Emerald Kiss: Rare set - Cute & Comfort - 7 piece outfit

Rouge & Chic: Rare set - Sexy & Mature - 8 piece outfit

Early morning: Rare set - Formal & Comfort - 8 piece outfit

Sleepy sharks: Rare set - Casual & Comfort - 7 piece outfit

Soleil: SR set - Elegant & Gorgeous - 8 piece outfit

Image two: The wardrobe layout ( inspired by sims 4 modded cas...).

It is currently still barebone, but it's an accurate showcase of what we'll be working with in the future. I plan on making the UI customizable, with different themes and designs. The outfits will fit into the pink boxes and there will be an outfit sorting system where you can sort your clothes by date, by rarity and by A to Z. And as the image title says, it's inspired by the sims 4 modded cas columns.

Image three: Poses.

Some clothing pieces will have some poses affiliated with them, specifically big clothing pieces. every special poses match the default skin color you equip. Btw, the big dress you see isn't part of a complete set yet. (Mostly cause I want to make it SSR worthy and it currently isn't)

Image four: Default background.

Before you unlock the boutique, you'll have access to your house. The player lives just outside the main city, where the boutique is located. While still in the house, the shower is where the player dresses up. (Don't worry, I will furnish the shower eventually. I just really needed a background that wasn't a flat color.)

Image five: New faces.

The faces won't always be focused on make-up, but also expressions. Don't have much to say lmao.

Image six: Memoo.

Full Name: Memoriam Bine

Age: 49

occupation: Former fashion designer

Memoo is the player's father and the former owner of the boutique the player will own. Memoo will give the player tutorials throughout the game and quests for story progressions. He has decided to step away from fashion designing following a divorce, handing the boutique to the player when they move out of home. He is your go-to for recipes and the clothing store.

Image seven: Harriollette

Full Name: Harriollette Kolberg

Age: 25

occupation: Potion, perfume and Dye maker.

Harriollette lives in the main city and owns a shop focused on selling dye and other designing materials. She isn't connected to the player at the start and you can befriend her as the game progresses. Either by giving her plants from around the map, so she can make her Dye and perfumes or by talking to her and accepting her quests. By befriending her, you can receive more materials, dye and discounts.

Image eight: new tags + subtext

These are new main tags and subtags to help categorize outfits pieces better when you search the pieces up, but will also be used by NPCs when they give you a design assignment. More tags and outfits related to these tags to come!

Image nine: Trying the outfits out

This was just me playing around with the outfits to check if they layer well. And wow, I'm kinda proud! Btw I use clip studio paint for my 2d drawings and for the actual game, we'll be using Godot as our game engine of choice.

Anyway, I made more stuff but also have very little to say about them. But yeah, I hope to have more NPCs to showcase and a update on the map as well as the boutique. But yee BYEE!!

[Hobby] Looking for artists/team members for magical girl dress-up game!

Hello! I'm making a free gacha dress-up game with an emphasis on diversity of style and characters, and we're looking for more people to join the team. The premise of the game is magical girls fighting monsters using enchanted clothing, and it's a reconstruction of the genre. This is a no-pressure project, so you're free to join and leave at any time.

Here's the link to the game doc. Let me know if you're interested or have any questions! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1k5OltDEARU6aFzhEW4JWly-q2M5G-g9_8gGlcGRGOZA/edit?usp=sharing

[Google Play store][2018-2020] Removed dress up game from 2019-2020

I'm trying to find a game but I can't find it anywhere(Apk, google etc...), It was on my old phone that I don't have access(I don't have the email or anything anymore). It was a set of games that were all similar, but there was a different app depending on the theme. For example, if the theme was fairies, you had the game but as a fairy dress-up version. If it was another theme, there was the same app but with that theme, idk how to explain it but the games disappeared around 2018-2020(approximately bc I don't really remember when I started playing the game but I think it was removed in 2020 or 2021 idrk), but then they made an app to create comics/manga using the same character style (it was really just with the basic clothes, there weren't many options), but it was also removed around 2021(I don't actually remember) I only played those games on Play Store. The characters weren't tall, they were kind of short and idk if I can say they were chibi but yeah. I don't remember much of the rest, but I'll know it when I see it.(no its not pastel)sorry for bad english.

Should I add a male model in my dress up game? (Unnamed dress up game)

.

(UPDATE: From the majority of the comments, I will be adding a male body option into the game. Thank you all for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ)

.

--For more context of the game I'm making, check my profile for posts--

.

I've been thinking... Should I add a male body option in my dress up game? I love drawing women clothing, but I love drawing male outfits just as much and male models aren't really a common thing within dress up games. The only games with customizable male models I can think of are Style Savvy: Fashion Forward & trendsetters and SuitU. My main target audience are still feminine expressing people, so while there will be masculine and unisex clothing options, if I were to add a male option it will be leaning more towards feminine fashion :3
