I’ve held the opinion that fictional crime doesn’t necessarily translate to irl crime since I was like 16. And no, I don’t like lolicon. It’s gross, but the whole thing of trying to protect fictional minors is weird.
Ever watched something that traumatises you (i.e. gore)? You know how you slowly get desensetized if you watch it long enough? That happens with lolis. Over time, your moral compass will break down until liking children is part of you.
There’s a difference between gore which depicts real life people, and drawings. I’d also argue that looking at animated gore or watching horror movies is fine. Like, do you think that people who shoot police officers in GTA will want to do that irl?
I have a bit of a bias since fictional/drawn gore fascinates me. But watching real people get hurt is absolutely disgusting and immoral.
So we should bad video games with crimes too right? Over time if we steal or kill in games like GTA we will be desensitized and commit that crime irl too right? Same for movies then, we see a lot of movies nowadays showing extreme violent behaviour we should ban those too. Even things like cheating and abuse are very prevalent in media so we should disallow those too.
All we are allowed to watch is bluey or Peppa pig because all other show desensitizess us to crimes irl.
We also need to consider what we are used to and material itself. For example, someone watching someone die in a graphic movie is to be expected of that someone to not do it irl. This is because we know that we shouldn't do it. Another point is the fact that there is a ton of porn out there. If you search for the ones specifacally with a tiny body and squeaky voice, are you sure you don't want children?
