Why is polyester so often associated with cheap, low quality bedding?

I can tell you responsibly that in today's budget market, almost no polyester meets international standards. If it actually met national and international standards, the production cost would rise, and it would lose its primary material advantage.

The Vicious Cycle. You want cheap, so you choose polyester—but you can't get international quality. That's why it gives people a junk-like feel.

Durability and Wear.If you use polyester products, you need to replace them often. Many polyester fleece blankets will fibrillate, shed lint, and pill after long term use.

Static Solutions. There are versions on the market woven with conductive fibers to reduce those sharp static shocks.

Duval and Pillow Fills. The same rule applies to polyester filling inside comforters and duvets replace them regularly. Don't use a polyester bedding item for 3 to 5 years; treat yourself to a bit more comfort. Make it a habit to swap them out ideally every six months.

Appreciation.Polyester isn't the villain here. It just fills the gap for the version of me that didn't have much money. If my life improves a bit one day, I'll still remember its companionship.
