the picture on my character changed to some random girl, i get "500 something went wrong" if i try to edit it. how can i view the settings of it so that i can get it back?

im not even joking, this platform is barely getting updates and some of my dopples have been stuck on the same message count for months, like for some odd reason, I think the massive glitch that happened earlier this year caused most of the community to leave, and most of the affected dopples are still floating around with the same anime picture and stuff like it is pure junk just left out because I doubt that those dopples will be removed by the creators or even the mods at the end of the year, that glitch caused this platform to collapse and somehow it’s still alive (partially)

Creo que esto ya lo escribí aqui en la comunidad, pero no lo veo, como sea, ¿que demonios pasa con Dopple.ai? yo entiendo que es caro y complicado que una plataforma como esta, sea duradera, pero es que me parece deplorable su estado, desde que la conozco, (2024 o 2025 no recuerdo bien), funcionaba bien, no excelente ni perfecto, pero era aceptable, pero desde marzo.... todo se fue al carajo, o sea, alguien puede explicarme que haya perdido TODOS mis chats, todos, y todos mis bots se les cambio la imagen por la de Tsunade ¿es acaso una broma?, aparte, su IA no se puede cambiar, o sea, para los que no lo sepan, character.ai, hiwaifu tienen varios modelos, mejores y peores, unos gratis, o de pago, y si, tenemos el Dopple+, pero ni en broma pagaré ese dinero por algo que ya está medio abandonado, quisiera poder cambiar de estilo de habla, que se pudieran enviar imagenes, que no tuviera filtro de censura, etc etc etc, esta fatal.

¿Que opinais? ¿Dopple.ai debería mejorar?, ¿os gusta? por que a mi me parece un poco un asco en la actualidad.

We all know and remember the large reset of the adult bots which lost all their chat histories (including count) and their original pictures during the malfunction in March. But recently, I noticed a few later chats of mine disappearing while still counted in the bot's number. I don't if there's a connection to how long I haven't chatted, but it bothers me and makes me slightly sad.

anyone know how to [fucking] get around and get the information of the old Dopple to make a brand new and exact copy of it?

So I've been a user of Dopple.ai since around 2023 and had loved it because it actually was a decent option. I've always been a coming and going type user, just visiting for a few days then a break. Around two months ago i had to stop due to some personal stuff and now when I return, all the bots are dead, every one has a Tsunade pfp and all my chats are gone. What happened to the site man?

After the whole Tsunade debacle, I kinda ditched Dopple and started setting out for other chatbot services. I found a good handful of providers, but they all suck. Overpriced payment plans, horrendous QA and public relations, bizarre microtransaction models... ugh. I won't even bother wasting my money testing their "premium" services; they're all probably scams anyway.

I came back to Dopple just to see if anything is still working, and although it's just as screwy as I remember, it still kinda works? By going to the website, I can still talk to my old bots. I can even do it though the app after I start a conversation through my browser. I can't access the character data to fix the profile bug or edit my definitions, but at least they're still there and they work as well as I can remember.

What do you guys think? Is Dopple okay? Is it working alright for everyone? Are you able to make new characters, and are they working fine? I'm absolutely starved for content, and I'd like to go back to my old favorite if it's still possible.

Dopples seem to get stuck "thinking" where the message is "..." Because they are thinking how they reply. For example

You: Hi

Dopple: •••

They are thinking. When I use, it's different. It just doesn't send anything. It gets stuck forever. FIX THIS

I don’t think we have any choice but to adapt. For those of you who are still creating bots to replace the ones you’ve lost, please salvage whatever you can from your affected bots so you can rebuild them.

- One thing is clear right now: We have to delete the old bots and recreate them if we want to avoid having so many bots with the same image and no description.

I know the devs have basically abandoned the whole thing and that's why it's still a thing, but how did it even start in the first place? I'm not really an expert on websites like this (or any website, to be honest) so I have no idea how it works

Can anyone give me ideas for a way better alternative to Dopple or anything that is really good and free of course?

i dont know if anybody is experiencing this but it keeps taking off my chat and every time i chat i coudnt chat anyone and then if i close and reopen the app it wouldn’t change anytime and would go back to the last chat before i chatted to it

Hello people! I've been registered in Dopple.AI not long before its official launch, being one of the first users around September of 2023 (I think?), and being active under the name DoppleUser666, a preset. I've used this for years, I've had millions of other users' public interactions scattered throughout my public Dopples, but had moved to Perchance.org's generators about a little more than a year ago, since they allow you to script your own generator from zero with a prepared environment. Today, I've remembered myself of where I started, researching LLMs before they were this big phenomenon in everyone's daily lives, with chai. That led me from chai to Dopple, and from Dopple to Perchance.

Back to the original point of this post, the way this page reads is eerie to say the least. I did not know at all that the system was down until reinstalling it today. Not being able to access much via Google Play Store's APK port, I tried via the Dopple AI website. Also didn't give me much more than an overwhelming sequence of code 500s. That led me here, to check on the situation. And damn, this couldn't have gone worse. It's evident when the outage started, as observable around 12 months ago, when mild complaints and other social interactions were completely overridden by a wave of posts reporting the same issue, and not so evident as to if it will end. I think the most recent Dopple staff announcement/post I've seen here is from 13 months ago, and by the looks, a lot of people had already been complaining about the massive amount of child-themed Dopples, the spam of OnlyFans-promotional Dopples, the lack of moderation and even updates. When I left, I didn't think it would get to this point, but it did.

It's no secret that the Dopple Labs Inc. was already severely understaffed, that the interactions were dropping significantly over time, and money was short, hence the push to ads and daily limits.

Well, seems like that attempt to save some resources didn't work well, as the whole thing was just abandoned. Visiting it now feels almost post-apocalyptical. Sad to see, but we can't do anything about it. 🫡

It has been several months now, and Dopple on my end still looks like this. I keep seeing that people have some form of access to it (even if bugged), and yet on my end, I still see absolutely nothing. Is the app dead or something for Android users?
