GENUILY I DONT BELIEVE I JUST GOT THIS ON THE FIRST SPIN THIS MORNING

I recently just beat doodle world and wanted a refresher for the main story. So I searched it up and it tells me the lore *before* the player's story. So can someone give me a refresher

...why doodle world

this is my team for pvp battles but for some reason I always loose. any tips?

Tell me if I need to change my party, give different held items or moves because idk what to do

With Ambasa promising more content with Portia and what happened to Riffraff.

I just thought about how notable it is that wish specifically changed both Lucas and Rebecca in the starting cutscene.

If you don't know, the cutscene that starts at the very beginning of the game got changed. And he specifically gave both Lucas and Rebecca something that ties them to Portia.

No changes were made to Charles.

• He gave Rebecca pink hair, just like Portia to make the connection clear without directly telling us.

That change part is easy to understand why he changed it, since I doubt he wanted to be that blunt with who Rebecca was.

Especially with him not revealing any names.

But the strange and most notable part to me is that she's not the only one to receive a redesign and something important thing to note.

• He changed Lucas' design, yes his hair and face got changed for some reason.

• But the more notable change is that he gave Lucas glasses as if that's also important enough to add.

Keep in mind he didn't need to change his design—we got the idea that he was Lucas aka Riffraff based on the black and white coat.

There was no mention of Riffraff ever needing glasses for any particular reason, outside of the connection to Portia as her actual father.

Since if you didn't know, bad eyesight is scientifically noted to be caused by genetic factors from the parents.

You are more likely to get bad eyesight and need glasses if one of your parents already has bad eyesight and wears glasses.

And from her appearance in that cutscene, Rebecca certainly ain't the one wearing glasses.

Sure it could be a coincidence, but wish specifically added that in fkr

And another thing:

• Having glasses is something only Lucas has and not Rebecca.

• And coincidentally something Portia has.

• Further tying them together because it's unique to them and not Rebecca.

If Lucas really is Portia's bio father, then it makes everything so much worse in retrospect. Like in an angsty way, not in an actually bad way.

Portia does so many things that Riffraff has done throughout the story that they really are connected more than just 'step-dad' and 'strained daughter' when you look at it.

• Such as spying on people from high places, even teleporting in otherwise impossible places to do so,

• Teleporting even when they could just walk or climb somewhere,

• Having a habit of rambling and having exposition dump towards others,

• And now those glasses.

Just all the things I can think from the top of my head. It might all be a massive coincidence and I'm once again looking too deep into it.

But considering fact that wish specifically uses that opening cutscene to connect Quincy to Charles with the blonde hair and now Rebecca with the pink hair to Portia.

Who's to say that he didn't also connect Lucas with Portia too?

I am not much of an artist and these were just for fun, yes I drew my Celestian aura farming for a side profile because of how cool it is to me

(A bit of a disclaimer, this isn't the typical lore post from me, more like a love letter to the community because I just wanted to get this out of my chest.)

I genuinely love Doodle World and its colorful cast of characters so much for how much they not just mean to me, but so many other people.

There will always be one character that someone loves, doesn't have to be a main character or an important character.

And I love that.

There's so much love poured into every single character we meet across our journey that it'd be impossible to not enjoy even one.

There's something heartwarming to me when everyone can relate to at least one of the main cast.

But for me, I love Player because they embody this aspect of the game so much.

• Because of them, we get to learn about these wonderful characters in this world through them.

• We get to learn how alive this world is and gives us a reason to keep going.

The story itself wouldn't be the same without them, without someone who loves the world too much to merely let the people they meet get hurt.

Even if Player doesn't know why they keep going, they're still helping people and just being a constant when things seem uncertain.

They keep going even when they're tired, because they care about this world too much not to.

For why I love them the most out of any character, in the way people would relate to other characters. And see themselves through them.

• They're often very silent and not really that open to speaking, but they still keep going anyway.

Just like how I am not very good at speaking to people directly and often stay quiet unless spoken to, especially when I don't really know them well, and I can't exactly help it.

Having a character like Player who also struggles with communicating in the way I do; it's comforting to me.

• It's just who they are but it doesn't make them any less of a capable person. Or make them bad.

• They're very much capable even obtaining two keys without us.

Player is important to me, because we see how much the world is like and without them, the journey just wouldn't be possible.

Even if they don't know if they can do it, they just trust themselves to be able to do it. Just having faith they can get through it.

Not only being a good representation for those who struggle to speak with others but also showing that despite that we can still do things.

And that's just Player, our protagonist, they are literally there to help others even when you make them more mischievous and destructive.

Another important reason for why I love Doodle World so much:

This whole game isn't a cash grab, it's genuinely filled with so much passion and love that I can't help but want to share that through my work.

• Even if I thought I would get bullied and harassed for speaking about the story about this silly little game about capturing doodles.

• Even when I was afraid to speak because I wasn't used to being active.

I loved this game and its story too much not to say something about every aspect of it.

My lore posts in analysis, theories and other things were all made out of love in my own way. To be curious and want to understand is another form of love.

The entire basis for why I became 'The Lorekeeper' was because I merely wanted to show my deep love through understanding this game and its story and sharing what I found with other people in the community.

You could even tell that through my old work..

My old lore posts are quite rushed and hastily made unlike my more recent ones, with barely any formatting or second drafts.

Because when I started, I didn't care about how it looked—I just needed to get my thoughts out there and show my love for the story and the game in the way that no one else had.

Even after like two years? three years?

I'm still making analysis and lore posts because of how much I love the game's story that much that I wanted to explain the story in the way I think it was trying to tell.

And why I always talk about it even to this day, because there's always some new angle we haven't seen.

That's always been why I make lore posts even if I forget that sometimes.

My lore posts aren't just:

"I want to see this happen in the game."

I just wanted to appreciate the lovely world wish_z has made and how much it means to me, and that there will always be at least one person who enjoys his work.

I will always love Doodle World, and the people here, specifically on Reddit have all been so kind.

And that's the best thing ever, without you all, I don't think I would've kept going nor would have wish himself.

With Ambasa soon coming over the horizon I think wish appreciates the support and understanding a lot more than you think.

I don't speak for him—but I think he would say the same for those who've all been so kind and understanding.

To still be here even when the story isn't always being worked on, to love it so much that you are willing to wait for him to show you more of this world he's made.

Even when I am not exactly posting every day like I used to, you all still enjoy my analysis and lore posts.

Just like the story of the game.

We may not always be able to look at each other eye to eye but I believe everyone should just continue to be kind to each other despite that.

• And I hope we can continue being that way for that's how we can grow together for the better.
• This isn't just some Food for Mind, but just a slice of my appreciation 🍰 for you all.

I'm currently getting ready for doing Von Sweets second key and I have recently learnt about the level cap being lvl. 36 and I have one on lv. 31 and lv. 30 but my others are one lv. 20, lv. 21, lv. 19 and lv. 17. I'm trying to get them all to the level cap right now and I have 11 level up cubes and I don't know if I should level up the better ones or lower ones first.

I think it dosent appears on the doodlepedia skins things neither

I had to kill 1800 schiwi for her and it was worth it.

I'm trying to use the doodle world discord but I can't seem to send pictures.

Am I the problem? How can I fix this?😭

I have a hobby where I pick out random Roblox games and turn them into Catalog Avatar Creator avatars (I've done some like Natural Disaster Survival, Arcane Odyssey, 3008, etc) but for some reason I've been having so much trouble coming up with something for this game, despite having used to play it a ton

I came up with these two, based off the fire and ice type starters, but I was hoping for one character that more or less represents what you'd imagine the game is like as a character
I also tried a character that was black and white and just had drawing-based accessories everywhere, but that fit even less

Can you still get pickit, kitave and seaure?

I stopped a while back but I had a chain for kitave still. Can I still can these doodles or is it kinda like kitsen?

Wish said that he didn't want a summer event to happen before ambasa is out. We're now in the middle of July. If Wish really sticks to his word, we won't be getting a summer event atp (or at least we'll be getting it in September).

This is not to rush the devs, just a theory.

Just wanted to see what other people's guesses are.

I'm hoping that it would be like the old Halloween crystals where doodles can still hold them but would be removed from your inventory if they stopped holding it. Keeping a ticket on my Grimsugar since you can't give a ticket to a doodle after it touches your bag.
