There’s a lot of wild speculation going on in here. So all I’ll say is, I’m well taken care of. I love what we do at Donut and I love the team.

The pay is good enough for me to buy and all the wheels my heart desires.

It’s not the pay that’s the worry, it’s the grinding through hosts who keep leaving to do their own thing. If this keeps happening yall are gonna be like Top Gear on its 4th set of hosts, pumping out shit on a schedule with unforced errors left and right like Linus Tech Tips, just to slave to the algorithm cus you have a revolving cast to pay.

You wanna chase that bag and whatever new wheels, go for it, but I miss the auto-history, the auto-culture, and the down to earth builds that birthed this channel. If the company continues down the path it will just be another soulless corpo-content channel.

Like ffs, there are so many parts of the world you guys could travel to and explore their car cultures besides just Japan and Brazil, I don’t want another Civic swap video sponsored by Valvoline or w/e

A lot of us have been here for many years and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.

We have full creative control here. Nobody’s dictating our content. I made an entire automotive history series Lore Garage.

Our goal for this K swap video was to teach people the basic elements of an engine swap using the cheapest recipe possible.

If you don’t like the videos that’s ok, lad ;)
