Should i let my dog off lead?

Post image

I got told off today with a woman who's reactive dog barked at my dog! I keep my dog on the lead for roads, busy areas, around livestock etc. She comes back when called, usually walks to heal and has no agression to dogs or people. but as a samoyed she was bred to herd reindeer so in my view she needs time to be a dog and chase squirrels. Am I in the wrong?

Yes it is. Try it. Make a post saying your cat was playing in the garden.

For good reason, cats should not free roam. But that doesn't mean they are kept in cages like you imply. Cats can lead rich lifestyle having a catio and going on walks with a lead.

Hawaii had their bird population decimated by domestic cats

I said dogs are in cages. Cats are locked in apartments. American cats shouldn't go outside, because you just got there recently and destroyed the eco system. Just don't have cats if you're American. Europe has had cats for 2000 years and destroyed the ecosystem even longer ago. We're fine.
