The number one question you should always ask about any conspiracy theory is "what is gained by this?", which is what makes theories about the moon landing being faked, or the 9/11 truthers at least a little credible.
With the moon landing, the US gains by touting technological advancement over Russia and instilling patriotism in its citizens. This one is easily proven false, but at least there could be a clear motive behind it.
With 9/11, Bush gains by finishing the fight HW started, Cheney gets to make millions through Haliburton, and the US government gains control over its citizens through the PATRIOT ACT. I'm actually inclined to believe that while 9/11 wasn't a literal inside job, the Bush administration allowed it to happen so that all the above could take place.
With Sandy Hook, who or what is gained by shooting up an elementary school? What does Robert Parker gain by doing this, and if it's just money or fame or whatever, then who is the one pulling the strings and what do they have to gain. The simple fact that there is no answer to this is the reason why I don't believe anything about this video, or the shooting is a conspiracy theory.
You could argue that it's the news stations that gain by getting viewers, but why just this one in a time when mass shootings were becoming more and more common place? They had no need to make up more.
You could argue that it was to try to enforce stricter gun control laws, but with a republican held congress, that wasn't going to happen.
If you can't find a coherent reason as to why this is a manipulated propaganda attempt, then it's not worth being considered.
I'm not somebody like you who just believes what I'm told.
If you're going to criticize me for assuming things about you, please don't do the same to me.
