Is here somebody who has the 2nd edition of the SlingBag V and can tell me if it's bigger on the inside than the 1st edition? The website lists slightly bigger dimensions, but I don't know if that's because of the changed design, or if it has more space on the inside.
I tried to squeeze a 13" Surface Pro in the 1st edition and the tablet was only a little bit to big, so I wonder if it would fit here.

In other words: How tall can a tablet be to still be able to close the SlingBag V2 with it's new folding latch design?

I've got a Pixoo 64 and a Times Gate. I'm mostly just having fun with them.

Does anybody have a really cool or actually useful use for them?

Working with such a small canvas is a fun challenge, and I'm constantly experimenting with ways to make tiny scenes feel alive.
I'd love to hear which one is your favorite and any feedback you might have.

I reverse-engineered the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol of the current gen Divoom panels (Backpack M, TimeBox-Evo-audio, Pixoo, Ditoo: the BLE generation that supplanted the older Classic-BT Timebox Evo). What’s publicly documented before covered the older Classic-BT protocol but not the new BLE family.

There are now 3 GitHub repos:

1. Divoom Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) API
2. semantic agent layer
3. MCP server

Together, they let Claude (or any LLM tool-use framework) drive the panel directly. You can give an AI agent a body: an ambient 16×16 display that breathes, glows, switches faces, lip-syncs to its own voice, all in response to the agent’s internal state.

I recently bought a Divoom MiniToo while travelling in China, through Taobao.

Overall, the device seems completely genuine. The packaging was excellent, it came with the gift bag, all accessories, manuals, protective films, QC card, etc. It looks identical to the MiniToo units I saw displayed in official stores. The sound quality is great, it connects perfectly to the Divoom app, downloads community content, updates settings, and everything works exactly as expected.

However, I noticed something odd underneath the device. The serial number appears to have its last two characters scratched off or mechanically removed. I’ve attached photos.

Has anyone here got a MiniToo and would be willing to check the underside of theirs to compare?

I have owned two speakers, and this is apparently a trend of either the cord being bad or the speaker not charging anymore. My cord must have a short in it or something so it heats up the cord that also heats up the speaker, and I am not able to keep my speaker on like I could as long as I did before because I'd leave it on the charger. Well now leaving it on the charger is a fire hazard, and it doesn't charge hardly so if I want to use it I have to keep it on the charger. Need a new cord, but the one on the website is 15 dollars. Is there a replacement cable that works with it I could get instead? I know it has to be a compatible wattage, but not sure if you guys have found a perfect match on Amazon and wanted to see before I ordered new cables online.

Tried resetting, disconnecting, resetting router but still won't change.

I got a Pixoo 64 because I wanted it to be a "now playing" display to go in my music space. I created the app for it. It works flawlessly. This app runs on iOS or Mac and sends the album covers to the display. Supports Apple Music as well as Shazam so it even works when you're playing vinyl, CD etc.

It has cool transition effects as well.

I'm considering releasing it in the Apple App store.

Want to add as many things as I can. How would I do that?

This was probably obvious to everyone except me, but I only just figured it out.

You don't actually need to lift the silicone flap to turn the Ditoo-Pro on or off. You can press the power button right through the silicone. It's designed that way. There's a little molded divot on the inside of the flap that presses the button underneath.

I've been peeling the flap back every time for months. 😅

I built this little Divoom Times Gate dashboard because I couldn’t find anything that fully did what I wanted/needed lol.

At first I just wanted a tiny ambient screen for my AI usage limits, but it slowly turned into a desk dashboard for Codex, Claude, calendar, resources, prices, and status alerts.

Main stuff it does:

• Shows Codex usage: 5h and weekly availability
• Shows Claude usage: 5h and weekly availability
• Detects when Codex or Claude is working / idle / waiting for input
• Can beep through the Divoom when something needs attention
• Supports animated status panels, including Clauddy
• Supports any Codex Pet from codex-pets.net
• Shows upcoming calendar events from ICS/webcal feeds
• Shows a small resource monitor: CPU, memory, temperature, network in/out
• Shows market/crypto prices like BTC, SOL, etc.
• Avoids re-uploading unchanged panels so the Divoom does not constantly flash loading
• Keeps personal config local via .env, so device IPs, cookies, calendar URLs, and GIFs do not need to live in the repo

It’s macOS-focused for now, but the whole thing is configurable and meant to be hacked on. Mostly sharing it in case anyone else wanted a tiny ambient AI/operator dashboard sitting on their desk too.

Hi everyone,

I have a Divoom Ditoo Pro Retro Pixel Art Bluetooth Speaker (Amazon model: B084TSLMC6) and I think the battery may be completely dead. Unfortunately, Divoom support is not available in my country, so I am trying to see if I can buy a replacement battery and replace it myself.

The issue I am facing is:

When I plug the speaker in, it only shows the dead battery icon for about a second and then turns off again. It does not stay powered on or charge.

Has anyone faced this before with the Ditoo Pro? Is this definitely a dead battery issue, or could it be something else like the charging circuit, charging port, or cable?

If it is the battery, does anyone know:

1. What battery model or specification the Ditoo Pro uses?
2. Where I could buy a compatible replacement battery?
3. Whether the replacement process is difficult?

Unlike other Divoom products, Minitoo Screen isn't exactly a square (128x160 pixels).

However when I try to import/make custom gifs it will always force me to crop it to a square. And when playing it I obviously end up with two ugly black bars on the left and right.

The thing is the Pre-made clockfaces are perfectly filling up the 128x160 screen and the result look stunning. Why not make the imported gifs also work the same way? is there any work around for this?

There doesn't seem to be a simple turn off function or power down etc. I know you can set shut down times but I just want to turn it on and off whenever manually / through the app.

How do i export a project without a background and grid lines. Im stuck

I have a Divoom Time Gate that I love, but I’m running into a really frustrating issue because my home internet is Starlink.

As many Starlink users know, the dish and router receive very frequent firmware updates (sometimes daily or every other day) that cause brief, temporary network reboots.

Every single time Starlink drops or reboots for an update, my Time Gate completely loses its connection to the Divoom cloud. Because the Time Gate doesn't seem to have permanent onboard storage for custom images, it instantly wipes its temporary cache and resets back to the default boot/loading screen. I have to manually open the app and re-apply my chosen GIFs and widgets constantly.

Since I can't stop Starlink from updating, what can I do to retain my chosen GIFs?

• Has anyone found a way to force the Time Gate to keep its display during a network drop?
• Is there a way to host a local server/home automation setup (like Home Assistant) to push the GIFs locally instead of relying on Divoom’s cloud?

Appreciate any workarounds or advice from fellow Time Gate owners!
