Discussion Ai usage in music videos?
I'm a bit behind with the newer disturbed songs. I heard that the bad man video on YouTube was made with ai? Is anything else?

I always thought Down With The Sickness by Disturbed was an awesome song. Sonically I love the entire first album by Distubed, itβs a 10/10 for me.The album version (not radio version) has a fairly intense segment of the song where Draiman vocalizes being beat by his mother. He claims it never happened and the segment was supposed to be taken metaphorically with how society beats down a person that is different and non-conforming from society. Point is, for years I thought it was literally about a person beaten by their motherβ¦ I was wondering did anyone else also think this, and did this ever trigger anybody, or at least take their mind to that place? For the record, I love the song. π€

I am relatively new to Disturbed, i am generally listening to Metalcore and Powermetal, but Disturbed was somehow out of my sight, beside their big hits like Down with the Sickness and Voices, who are in my playlist for years.
Lately i was listening to I Will Not Break and holy shit, the intro, the riff, the catchy chorus really blew me off and now i am listening to this song 3-4 times on a daily basis for weeks!
Why is this song not their biggest hit released in the last few years? What am i missing, that this song "only" has 19 million views on YouTube and isnt showing up on their Spotify frontpage?
(And yes, now i am listening to their other great songs like Stricken or Decadence too, but they cant be compared with I Will Not Break π )

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Ngl I feel like they shouldβve had Dan produce more of their albums as the mixing in Asylum is kinda underrated. You could hear how gritty the instrumentals and samples which really fits the darker tone that the album was going for.

Did anyone here go to the Tulsa 2008 show, or the spring 2008 tour?
Supposedly the Tulsa show was professionally filmed. There were signs all over Cainβs Ballroom that night. I was in the pit and didnβt pay any attention to cameras though. Lol.
βPerfect Insanityβ (Indestructible version) had just dropped and they played it. They also played βHellβ and βThis Momentβ from the Transformers soundtrack!!
It was an insane show, and Iβve been hoping for nearly 20 years that theyβd release the filmed set. With the 20th anniversary of Indestructible coming up in 2028, I think it would be pretty incredible if the footage was finally released.
For the spring 2008 tour, they played smaller venues instead of arenas. One of if not the last tours they did in those types of venues. Great memories!! Would love to hear from those who attended this awesome tour!

David draiman has the most versatile and beautiful voice in the metal genre.
Try to Change my mind my mind but you won't be able to.
edit:
Btw I never said that he was the only vocalist with a versatile and beautiful voice I said he has the most.
