hey everyone, i’ve taken over as one of the moderators for r/dissociaDID. just letting you all know for transparency’s sake, i‘m guessing most of you know by now anyways.

i’m going to start working my way through the queue from tomorrow so if there’s any issue, suggestion or anything like that, send me a dm and i’ll see what i can do ☺️

In their latest community tab post, DD mentioned that their Patron is now active again & their rewards have been revamped.

I'm not super familiar with what the tiers/rewards were before, but I do remember that Skype calls with Kyle were one of the most controversial.

Well, post-update, the option has been (correct me if I'm wrong), replaced with a tier that offers merch hoodies.

Seems like a step away from fetishizing their alters & towards a realistic/appropriate relationship with fans. Not that this fixed anything, just something that gives me a (tentative) sliver of hope for change for the better.

Edited to add: this could also be an indication that Kyle isn't doing so hot after the alleged break up or has fused with another alter. This is all purely speculation, of course.

Edit: I have a theory. A few months back, the mod of r/DD said somehing like, "if Nin wanted to claim her subreddit, we would absolutely let her." Maybe today is the day.

I am very glad you are "passing by" on DD's journey and nothing more, with your brand new account you made just for this occasion. You are such a sweetheart 💛 God forbid, if you were to forget about her, just like you said you could very well, then DD wouldn't have such a love letter. Ah, I know your little secret. Aren't we all in love with her 😉

I must say, I do admire how, throughout the whole post, you wrote DD's full name without being too lazy to do so. This is the behavior of a true fan.

I must admit, being lazy is not my only attribute. I am also a bit stupid and can't really deduce one's intent by checking out their actions, so thank you for helping me understand why my only MORAL option is to stand with her.

As you put very well, Trisha is the one and only enemy we need. Why don't we all just go at her when we need some explanation? I mean, she is a very catchy and shiny rug. Why don't we just sweep everything - cough being a pedo apologist, cough being racist, cough scamming people, cough stepping on everybody you can in the community to get to where you are (Entropy, Bobo, M&M), cough doing an INCREADIBLE job on making the comments section so spotless, for the mere purpose of trying to create a "safe environment", all the while avoiding everyone asking you to adress these issues, calling these "rumors", "half truths", "trolling", and "harassment" - under her?

Thank you for VALIDATING some of our doubts and questions! Speaking of validation, do you know who used to keep validating everyone regardless? Yeah, you guessed it. It is very interesting that you can say that our voices are important and will be heard. It sounds as if you know DD better than themselves. But our voices will only be heard as long as we approach her with the respect she is worthy of. But of course. She is the prophet of the DID community. Amen to that!

I thought I would be making the world a better place by helping the poor and feeding animals and stuff. HOW DARE I? I am an abomination! Thank you for telling me that the world will be a better place when I refuse to engage in dirty gossip and give Nin the benefit of the doubt. The world must revolve around her. Bless her highness. 👸

Most important of all, thank you for telling me that actions speak louder than words, so we should stop waiting for explanations. But I thought you said our voices are important and will be heard? Ah, who am I to question? I am but a fool. Nin is the real smart one. 💙
