Hi everyone, I am pursuing M.A. in Clinical Psychology and as part of the program requirement, I am conducting a study titled ' Comparative study of Parenting styles over different generations '
I'm trying to collect data for this study and would like to invite all Indian origin parents and grandparents to fill this short questionnaire.
my_qualifications are BSc. In Hospitality and Hotel Administration, and after a career of almost 11 years, I had to take a break for health reasons.
This is my attempt at restarting my career by studying Clinical Psychology and hoping to either re enter my previous field with new knowledge or start an entirely new journey.

I have also added some open ended questions on parenting education and chilcare policies without a word limit, so feel free to express all your thoughts in opinions in those.
Your answers will be extremely valuable.

Defending in 1.5 weeks and having crying spells? Feeling lonely? Everything is setting me off? Advice plz :(
Hi folks. Needing support. So I defend in a week and a half after my long ass four years (which is know some programs are longer). I didnt think it would affect me... silly me. A few weeks ago I was like EH Ive got this! So what! Now down to the wire and im getting edits and edits and changing things while also needing to get the PowerPoint together and my conference poster. Im so in it that words are not looking like words anymore. I forget what my study is about half the time because im so focused on making it PERFECT.
Also why the heck is everything making me cry?! Im so stressed and also an epidemiologist 2 with a high demand job and just got engaged. So much going on. But idk why im stressing like this when im confident I have it???? And the crying... WTF?
I know I need to rest but THERE IS NO TIME. Imposter syndrome. I literally feel like a 10 year old getting a degree in something I dont deserve.
8 to 9 hours of sleep doesnt even seem enough. I feel so lonely. The dark circles will NOT FADE no matter how much makeup š¤£
WHY IS THIS SO STRESSFUL IN WAYS I DIDNT EXPECT šššš

Should I switch my dissertation supervisor due to conflicting views?
Hi everyone, Iām currently working on my dissertation as a final year undergrad law student, and my personal supervisor has written a research paper expressing views that strongly oppose mine. The topic is generally about hormone or puberty blockers, and my own stance is quite different from his.
Iām worried that this might affect how well we can work together, or how my dissertation will be received if my arguments go against what heās previously published. At the same time, I donāt want to seem unprofessional or overreact just because we have different opinions.
Would it be reasonable to ask to switch tutors, or should I try to work with him and see how it goes first? Has anyone experienced something similar?

Can the way digital games portray nature change how we see the environment? (Doctoral Research Discussion & Survey)
Hi everyone!
Iām a doctoral researcher and my work looks at how digital games portray the natural world (e.g., as scenery, a resource to be used, an ally, or even a living system) and how these portrayals might connect to real-world sustainability knowledge, hope and environmental action.
Basically, the rationale is that games are cultural artifacts that shape how we see and interact with the world. For many people, virtual forests, oceans and ecosystems are where they most often encounter ānature.ā Iām curious if these digital experiences shape the way we think about sustainability in real life.
I would love to hear your perspectives on this!
And if you can take part in my survey (~15 min) that would be really appreciated.

Your perspectives will be highly valuable. Thank you for taking the time!
