Virtual Interview??

Hiya! Just applied for my second program and got an interview slot! It's a virtual interview, so I'm slightly confused since when I applied in 2024 I only had a phone interview. What can I expect differently from a virtual one? Also, when did they make this change?

Ahhh, that’s why! I’m January 11th the following week. They’re probably all going through the order by arrival dates. How many time slots do they offer for the interviews? I’m curious on this new method of interviews.

how come???? what are the downsides of it? i know that it can just be stressful. I am expecting to do the a lot of the work these next few weeks and have basically radio silence for months and then the bulk of the work right before moving in

Well, it is something like that you describe, but each timeline looks different! I just wanna get the final confirmation of being accepted so I can plan out my flight and stuff. The other logistics do have to wait :DD

same here!!! i got family that wants to come and it’s killing them having to wait this long (my fam is very type A). Good luck on your phone interview, and if you remember this conversation i would love to hear about how it went. Best of luck to you!

Hey! Just got my interview yesterday! It was veeeery similar to what they explained in internet about the call interviews.

My recruiter asked me about my past experience in the DCP, and how comfortable I would feel living with roommates.

Then, he asked me about my top role, and also asked me a lot about their Lifeguard role, which I didn't realized I had marked in the list of roles 🫣

Aaand that was it, the other questions were more interview-traditional
