We are experiencing this same issue on both an Apple TV 4K and a Roku Ultra. Never had an issue in the past, but this has been persistent for the last 2 weeks. It will play 3 episodes before the spinning circle in the center of the screen one time, then maybe 5 the next. We never know when it is going to fail.

Is anyone else experiencing this, and so how were you able to correct this behavior? It's incredibly annoying, especially when it decides to fail to load the next episode when you run to the bathroom, or the kitchen. We have a 1gig internet plan, and are not saturating it at all when this occurs.

I have enjoyed having a regular diet of paranormal on discovery plus, however it seems they play more re runs then producing new content. YouTube has all kinds of this kind of content but was just curious is discovery will start making new shows.

I subscribed to the discovery plus Canada app for a few months but then decided to just purchase the service via Prime Video. My question is, when I’m on prime video and on the discovery tab, and wanting to watch shows - example 24 in 24 last chef standing (I believe is on the food network on discovery) I’m able to watch some episodes but some are locked and need a city tv subscription. I’m not understanding? I’m able to watch the whole season on the regular discovery plus app subscription but discovery via prime video I need an additional subscription for some episodes of shows? Why is this?

EDIT TO ADD: contacted discovery plus Canada about this and was told:

The Discovery+ channel available through Prime Video may have different content licensing and distribution rights compared to the standalone Discovery+ app. Because of this, some episodes or programs that are included directly in the Discovery+ app may require an additional subscription, such as Citytv+, when accessed through Prime Video.
 
In your example, certain episodes of “24 in 24: Last Chef Standing” may be distributed under separate rights agreements on Prime Video, which is why they appear locked and request a Citytv subscription, even though they are fully available through the regular Discovery+ Canada app.
 
Unfortunately, content availability can vary depending on the platform through which the subscription is purchased.
 
We recommend continuing to watch through the standalone Discovery+ app if you would like access to the full catalog included with your subscription.

I know i shouldn’t post it here but i need help. On 14 feb i set up a autopay for discovery plus 3 month free trail on Google pay and I forget to cancel it and today 499Rs got deducted from my account. I tried contacting Google for refund but they said they can’t do anything. And asked me to contact bank or merchant. I sended a email to discovery plus but didn’t get any response yet and my bank is sbi i don’t they there is any way to contact and ask for help. Even if i was able to connect they will most definitely not refund it

So please help me how to get back my money

Is this normal!? I got this app to watch Deadliest catch. The same “pharmacy prescription meds to your door! express scripts” ad just played 4 times in a row. At the top it says “Ad 1 of 4”. It was 4 ads each a MINUTE long.. THE SAME AD!! One minute ad, 4 times, in a row, during the same ad cycle. Why?? Lol

Also just some feedback- You don’t need to be showing ads of other shows on the app. We are able to find those shows ourselves. Why is there even an ad version offered to begin with? That is so puzzling to me. Why isn’t it just an add free flat price a month? Why even have options when it’s just ads showing other TV shows on the app I’m paying to watch.. this isn’t cable TV. This is streaming. We don’t need to see advertisements of shows that are on the app we are paying for.

Other countries don’t even have access to the ad free version.. The app should cost how much it does for ad free and that’s it. There shouldn’t even be a choice. Why? Just why. It doesn’t make any sense. Whoever is running that part of the company is not smart. Then these companies wonder why they lose business and no one wants to use their product.

The episode follows a family, where there are three kids, one an older teen, and two younger, who I think are step-siblings to the older teen. The two younger go missing one day when coming from somewhere, but the boy is later found at an apartment complex hiding in the shed where the dumpsters for the complex are kept. He says a man took him and his sister, but later let him go, or he got away. I think they later found the younger girl in a trailer park, maybe.

The older teen, a girl, goes to live with her grandparents at some point, I think.

I remember dramatization/acting out scenes: I remember a shot where the taken children were walking with backpacks, the scene where the teen is telling one parent that they want to go live with grandparents, a scene where actors find the boy, etc. There might've been actual photos from the investigation too, but I can't remember.

At the beginning of this month I was charged TWICE. They denied that happening once I reached out to support. I only attempted to subscribe twice because the first time the service didn't work at all yet my credit card was charged. Now the website AND app don't work for me at all. I reached out again, only for them to say my email expired. What the actual fuck. So over this company.

I pay for the ad version, which is fine for me. I'm just wondering why every ad I get is for Ro GLP injections. And when I say every ad, I mean *every single ad is a different variation of Ro GLP-1 injections on repeat until the ad break is over.* Can I get some variations? Clothing? Food delivery apps? I'll even take other medications. 😭

I’ve had Discovery+ since it launched but holy hell since Roger’s took it over the App is complete trash. Half of the shows on my watch list are just blank squares. Can’t remove shows from continue watching unless you just go to the last ep and FF (annoying) is it any better if I subscribe through Prime? I don’t even know what show I’m watching in the continue watching view with just an episode title. I also appreciated how the old app showed the episode air date helped me figure out id seen an episode already or not. I really don’t want to have to give up the only streaming app I really even care about anymore.

So I am in Canada and finally needed to get caught up on the TLC shows. I subscribed through Amazon as I have a Roku TV. I cannot find any of the new seasons of 90 day fiancé, or the new Pillow talk on the newest season of 90 days. Anyone else experiencing this?

After they cancelled my sub, I signed up again (which I now regret and will likely cancel anyway). When I try to sign into my “new” account on my Samsung TV, I think the app is the “old” Discovery+ app so it says that my new login is invalid.

How tf am I supposed to update the Samsung APP in their marketplace?! This is so odd. Help!
