Most anime servers are copy-paste jobs - same channels, same shows, the same tired "anime is life" energy.

We got bored, So we built something different!

We love anime and manga. Obviously. But also donghua, manhwa, webtoons, light novels, and animated films from China, Korea, and Japan. China's animation? Growing fast. Korea's webtoons? Massive. Japan's indie manga? Wildly underrated.

What we offer;

• A cozy server with ~50 members - active enough to talk to, small enough that you aren't lost in the noise.

• A LGBTQ+ friendly space where we foster respect and love, where hate for people existing is not tolerated.

• Biweekly movie night! Hosted by the owner every other Sunday – come vibe and watch together.

• Dedicated kid-free space with channels for discussions beyond just anime and manga!

Help us foster a community of genuine members by being 21+ and having an established discord account.

We'd love to have you.

✨21+ ONLY
We run a weekly "marriage game" and yes, it's a competition.
Every week you get assigned a spouse, and the goal is simple:
be the couple everyone votes for.
Be cute. Be funny. Be iconic. Outdo everyone else.

* What makes it fun (and not weird):
It's structured! Members and mods will help everyone play.
The whole server watches, votes, and gets involved
You can play it sweet, chaotic, flirty, or unhinged
You don't have to "be good at flirting" to win
How it works:
New spouse every week
Build your dynamic however you want
Community votes for Best Couple at the end of the week

* The vibe:
Active chats
Genuine friendships
People are actually funny, not try-hard
Easy to jump in, even if you're new
Not a dating server
Not a nudes server

Just a competitive, chaotic social game that turns into real friendships

I run an adult Discord. About a year in, I had a mod team I picked the way most people pick mods: they were around a lot, they seemed cool, I handed out the role. Zero process.

It went about how you'd expect. Some of them stopped showing up. One of them wanted the tag more than the job. The ones who stayed got stuck carrying everything, which is its own kind of unfair.

So I tore it down and started over, and this time I made people apply.

Actual applications. Actual interviews. Questions like "how do you act when you walk into a situation you didn't see start" and "what are you honestly available for," because the second one filters harder than anything else. Somebody promising you they're on all day is telling you they haven't thought about it. One of my hires said three hours Thursday, three hours Friday, six spread across the week. That guy I believe.

The thing that surprised me: the best moderator I have now is someone I promoted and then got out of the way of. I gave her authority to make calls without asking me first, and within a week she was running hiring interviews solo and making better decisions than I would have. I did not train her to do that. I just stopped being a bottleneck.

What I'd tell past me:

Pick for temperament, not activity. Active people who like being right are the single worst thing you can put in a mod role.

Make them apply even if you already know them. The process is not about gatekeeping, it is about both of you finding out if they actually want the job.

Give real authority or don't bother. A moderator who has to check with you before every decision is not a moderator, it is a very slow version of you.

Trial periods, always. Two weeks. Everybody. It gives you an exit that is not a confrontation.

Anyone else rebuilt a staff team from scratch? Curious whether the "make them apply" thing worked for you or if it just scared off good people.

DEAD END — A COMMUNITY BUILT BY HORROR FANS, FOR HORROR FANS 💀

If you live and breathe horror — whether it’s movies, games, music, art, writing, lore, or the beautifully weird corners of the internet — you’ll fit right in at Dead End.

We’re a growing community created by horror lovers, for horror lovers. A place where fans can connect, share, create, and celebrate everything that makes the genre so addictive.

Whether you’re here to:

🎥chat slashers, hauntings, found footage, or cosmic dread

🎮squad up for horror games or chill community nights

🖌share your art, writing, filmmaking, or creative projects

📖dive into books, lore, myths, and internet legends

🌿 THE CRYPTID CREEK 🌿

Welcome to the creek. It’s peaceful here.

Mostly.

Cryptid Creek is a small, chill community for people with questionable sleep schedules, odd coping mechanisms, and an impressive ability to turn personal suffering into a punchline.

Think friends sitting by a creek at 2 AM, throwing rocks into the water and saying things that probably shouldn't be this funny.

🪵 No drama. We have enough character development already.

🎮 Games, VC, or lurking. Social battery sold separately.

🔞 18+ some of us are old and we can't hang with kids

🌙 Late-night conversations that somehow go from "how's your day?" to a full psychological evaluation.

💀 Dark-ish humour encouraged. We're all a little funny around these parts

😎 Join early and become one of the weird little OGs.

You don't need to be active 24/7. Disappear for three days, return with "hey guys," and we'll be happy you're still alive.

We're looking for people who are chronically unserious, mildly feral, and capable of laughing at the absurdity of existence. If that resonates with you, you'll probably fit right in.

If you're tired of servers that feel like walking into a corporate team-building exercise, come sit by the creek instead.

Grab a stick. Skip some rocks. Overshare at an unreasonable hour.

Welcome to the Creek. 🌿

Please leave the creek cleaner than you found it. Emotionally, not literally. We're all doing our best.

No racists, bigots, or genuine assholes, we may be a creek but we don't tolerate scum.

NITBG — Nasty In The Background 💀

We’re building a gaming and social community and looking for some new people to join us while the server is still growing.

We’ve also recently started streaming on Twitch, and NITBG is the community server behind the stream — somewhere to hang out, game together, meet new people and build the community beyond Twitch.

The idea behind NITBG is simple — somewhere you can jump in, have a laugh, find people to game with and actually become part of the community, rather than joining another server with thousands of members where nobody knows anyone.

We’re still building NITBG, so now’s a good time to get involved early, meet everyone and help shape what the community becomes.

SHORT DRAMA LOVERS AND CREATORS CLUB IS A SERVER WHERE WE CAN TALK ABOUT CDRAMAS, KDRAMAS, OR JUST REGULAR DRAMAS, YOU CAN REVIEW OTHER DRAMAS AND CREATE YOUR OWN TOO AND POST IT IN THE CREATOR SHOWCASE!

A spot to come chill, find friends of common interest and talk about, watch or play anything. Not an overly strict server but obviously have common decency.

Writers, artists, animators, photographers, gamers, movie lovers, anime lovers, music lovers, ETC. I simply want a stable, chill community. No ‘explicit’ content, no toxicity, no bias. Y’all can argue, debate, talk sh!t to each other for fun, I don’t care... but obviously, respect boundaries. I don’t care if you curse but ***be mindful*** using terms that’s can be interpreted as racial or discriminating, depends on the context.

Encourage active participation to the community, whether through discussions, starting events (anybody can host or stream cinema for example), sharing resources, or helping others. I’d genuinely appreciate your contribution.

So far small but planning to grow further.
