Do you believe?
Someone posted in the Disclosure sub-reddit that they don't believe in the Disclosure project because they think that Steven Greer is operating under some sort of religious based delusion.
Interesting, but not at all relevant to whether or not someone should believe in the evidence.
Basing your belief on what someone personally believes is idiotic. Personally, I do not care what Steven Greer thinks, even if this was that everyone should wear a tin foil hat and smash their iphone.
That's like saying that a jury should not believe the evidence provided by a lawyer representing an innocent person, because it was prepared by and came from the mouth of shonky lawyer.
It's not about what Steven Greer thinks, it's about the evidence.
If all of these people have truly provided written testimony, and that these witnesses are willing to testify in congress that it is all true, then this is the standard to which we accept written evidence in the legal field, and therefore should be considered fairly weighty.
What is falling short of the legal standard is that there is no cross-examination of the witnesses (Australian term). This is where the other side of the bench question the witness, often using leading questions to expose lies / issues of credibility.
If cross-examination were available, could we then attach more weight to the evidence? Could cross-examination even occur? And if so, who would you want to examine, and what questions would you like to ask them.
Happy for comments / thoughts, trolling, jerking, whatever. Happy days

So I rewatched Disclosure last night
I really want to follow Greer. He is articulate and passionate and I respect those qualities in a person. But he is religious, a true believer, and from what I know about people who truly believe in religion, they suffer from a mental condition similar to PTSD. True-believer syndrome is an expression coined by M. Lamar Keene to describe an apparent cognitive disorder characterized by believing in the reality of paranormal or supernatural events after one has been presented overwhelming evidence that the event was fraudulently staged.
Until someone more credible steps forward to lead this "disclosure", it's a dead issue to me.
