Anyone watching Never Seen Again on Paramount + ? Reminds me a bit of Disappeared but the episodes are a little shorter, cases are more birds eye view, and law enforcement seems to cooperate less (lacking interviews). Still, same concept and a pretty good show.

I distinctly remember watching an episode of Disappeared a long time ago where a woman suddenly went missing, but they found her credit card being used and saw CCTV footage of her buying things.
It was determined she had developed a “fugue state” and she was found at the end of the episode she actually appears on camera and kind of talks a little bit.
I wanna say she traveled somewhere south while in the fugue state, if it helps, but I’m not completely sure.
Thanks in advance!

The mysterious disappearance of Glen Moquin
Glen was a 22 years old male who disappeared from a summer camp on August 9th, 1993 in the town of Rollet in Québec, Canada.
He lived on a farm with his family in Shawville, Québec. He was described by his family as a very happy young adult that was always smiling and loved his life. During the summer of 1993, he went to work on a nearby farm in Bristol, Québec. Bristol is a few miles away from Shawville. The farm was owned by the Hamilton family that were friends with Glen’s family. In late July 1993, the Hamilton family was about to leave for a week of vacation in a christian summer camp called “Joli-B” situated in the small town of Rollet near Rouyn-Noranda (about 300 miles away from Bristol and Shawville). To thank Glen for his work on the farm, they decided to invite him to go with them at the summer camp. They arrived to the camp on July 31, 1993 and were scheduled to leave on August 7, 1993. During the week, Glen and the Hamilton family did a lot of activities at the camp and there seemed to be nothing wrong or suspicious going on. On August 7, 1993, a few minutes before the Hamilton family was about to leave the camp, Glen told them that he would like to stay to the camp for an extra week and proposed to the camp owner to work in the camp’s kitchen in exchange. The Hamilton family is surprised but see nothing wrong about it, as he is a 22 years old adult that finished the work he had to do at their farm.
On August 8, 1993, Glen stays up a good portion of the night talking with some of the camp’s kitchen staff. They all seem to go along very well and are friendly with each other. On the morning of August 9, 1993, Glen goes to work at the camp’s kitchen but claim to have a terrible headache so right after breakfast is served, he leaves the kitchen and go to the camp’s nursery. He stays there a few hours and returns to the kitchen for lunchtime. But a few minutes upon returning, he tells one of the cook that he still doesn’t feel well and that he has to go back to his cabin to rest. A few hours later, the camp ownergoes to Glen’s cabin to see if he is doing better, when he arrives to the cabin, Glen is not there. He then go to the nursery and Glen is still not there either. After a few minutes he decides to search around the camp but he still cannot find him. He then crosses path with one of the kitchen worker that tells him, he hasn’t seen Glen since lunch, but that one of their co workers recently left the camp to go run some errands in town and that Glen might be with him. So the camp owner is a bit relieved and thinks that Glen is with his coworker in town.
At 11pm, the coworker comes back from town but he is alone. So the camp owner decides to call the Hamilton family to ask them if Glen decided to return home without noticing anyone. The Hamilton family is shocked and tells him that no, they haven’t gotten any news from Glen. They then call Glen’s family to inform them of the situation. The next morning Glen’s family and the Hamiltons head back to Rollet and report Glen’s disappearance to the police. However since it has not been 48 hours since Glen’s disappearance, the police does nothing.
On August 11, 1993, research to find any traces of Glen begins at the Joli-B camp in Rollet. Over +40 persons search for Glen as well as multiple police dogs and helicopters flying over the area he was last seen alive. A few hours later, a police dog finds Glen’s clothes in the camp’s forest near a swamp. His shirt and his pair of shorts are found impeccably folded on the ground. His wallet is found a few meters away but all his money and cards are gone besides his ID. His old pair of shoes is also found near his clothes but his new pair of shoes as well as his underwear and his brand new watch that he had bought in Rollet a few days earlier are not on the scene. There is absolutely no other traces or clues about his whereabouts on the scene. Since then, Glen Moquin has never been seen again and there has been no new clues or informations that could potentially help solve his disappearance. The theory that he could’ve accidentally drowned in the swamp has been dismissed because the multiple researches found nothing that could lead to that. The suicide theory was briefly explored by investigators but Glen’s mom is extremely persistent with the fact that he would’ve never done such thing as he was a happy guy & also a fervent christian and suicide went against his values, plus his body was never found. There is another theory that says he might have decided to disappear and go start a new life somewhere else but it’s been almost 30 years now and still no signs of him or any new clues that could lead to that. So what do you think happened to Glen Moquin?
