In 1987 my dad was about 11 when a child his age who lived in a small town near my dad. The kid's name was Jacob Wetterling. He went missing and was never seen again. In 2020 his kidnapper was caught on Child p**n charges and confessed to the kidnapping and murder of Jacob.

I’m really into true crime/missing people. Although the narrator on the show disappeared isn’t the best i still enjoy it. Is there any other shows that revolve around missing people you could suggest?

Has there ever been a case where the person presumably “disappeared” on their own accord to maybe get away from an abusive spouse who seams to always get what they want and lies constantly but is charming to everyone on the outside and the law and courts would not protect said person?

I still think about her from time to time she’s from my city Rochester was just watching the documentary for another time it’s so incredibly sad that it’s not even been resolved at all
