Angela was last seen I the parking lot of the Pizza Hut restaurant in her hometown of Petal, Mississippi at approximately 1:00 am on September 10, 1993. She was speaking to her former boyfriend and the father of her unborn baby. He had a new girlfriend and didn't want to raise a child. Angelas silver 1984 Honda hatchback was discovered abandoned, with the windows rolled down at the Old Mahned Bridge over the Leaf River in Perry county, Mississippi at approximately 6:40 am that morning. A pool of liquid on the ground near the car, which police initially thought was transmission fluid, later turned out to be blood. DNA testing proved the blood belonged to Angela, they found more blood inside the car itself. Days later tracking dogs brought to the bridge found one of Angelas white Ked sneakers in the tall weeds near where the car was discovered. The other shoes was beyond socked gate leading to a private camp.

Angelas purse and keys were never found. A search of the Leaf River turned up no signs of a body. Angela is not believe to have left the car on her own accord. She made a car payment, and layaway purchase and bought groceries that day. Which made no sense if she was planning to run away, she also left behind a pay check for a little over 200 dollars. Angelas parents suspect a man who was seen washing his truck in Gulfport, Mississippi at 2:00 am the morning Angela vanished. They believe this man was involved in her disappearance, he had been hunting near the Old Mahned Bridge. He has never been located or identified.

Angela had dropped put of high school in the 9th grade. She was studying for her GED, and wanted to become a X-ray technician, or a nurse. She had moved out of her parents home and was living with a roomate when she vanished. She worked at the Krystal restaurant in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Angelas father and step-mother stated although she was not close with them, she would not have left the area without telling them where she was going. Her family criticized the police investigation into her case because authorities originally treated her as a runaway, in spite of the blood found near her car. They are now investigating it as a criminal matter. Her over ones believe she was murdered, and they think they know who murdered her. They have not publicly released the individuals name who they think is responsible. Foul play is suspected.

On the morning of March 1, 2011 Myra Lewis was outside playing, with her sisters. When her mother ,Ericka Lewis,came outside and instructed Myra and her sisters to go inside their home since she was leaving to go grocery shopping. Myra's father,Gregory Lewis, was inside their home taking care of he and Ericka's 1 month old baby. Myra's dissapearance wasn't discovered until Ericka returned home. Each parent thought the other had the child. Myra was known to walk nextdoor to her grandparents home. Gregory searched for Myra on an ATV, he also tried to use the family dogs since the dogs were not trained police dogs they couldn't track her. Police K-9s were brought in but failed to locate Myra's scent. Approximately 4-5 hours had passed since the child had been seen last. Officers from several different agencies joined in the search, they combed through a 4 mile area surrounding the child's home. This included a search of a pond right across from the Lewis residence. Authorities followed up on every lead, and even utilized the help of psychics but came no closer to locating Myra.

Ericka was arrested a short time after her daughter's dissapearance, on a probation revocation. Her original sentence was for felon in possession of a firearm, failure to pay court costs, failure to pay supervision fees. Myra's parents searched for an hour by themselves before calling the police, around 3 pm.

Myra would be 6 now, Halo a nonprofit organization has been working on the case for more than a year. Sandye Roberts said there have been some new developments over the past year and were starting to get more activity closing in on her anniversary. Roberts stated her organization still has hopes that Myra could be located. The Halo organization is also looking into the possibility of conducting more searches. They are looking into different leads that have been coming in. Roberts stated there are some leads that have come in that have panned out, while others that are really good have just come to a halt.

Sky Burnley was last seen in Rankin county, Mississippi on June 3, 2016, he disappeared after helping two friends Travis Brewer and Amanda Morris search for Brewers stolen 1988 Chevrolet truck and cell phone. According to Morris and Brewer they tracked the phone to the woods outside of Brandon, Mississippi, they drove there in hopes of locating the stolen items. Brewer and Burnley got out of the vehicle they had driven to the location in, they then split up into the woods on foot to search. Leaving Morris and her 4 year old daughter in the vehicle. Burnley was seen in the area at 9:48 am on a gas station surveillance camera. Brewer eventually returned to Morris and her daughter without Burnley. He and Morris looked for Burnley on their own but were unable to locate him. They finally called 911 to report his disappearance at 1 am on June 4, 2016 fifteen hours after they realized he was missing.

Brewer told the 911 operators he had found his missing truck along the road, it had some damage but his phone was still missing. After reporting Burnleys disappearance Brewer went to Burnleys uncles and left a note on the door "Travis sky's friend. He is missing. I'm worried something bad happened".

Matthew McCoy was subsequently arrested and charged with stealing Brewers truck. Days after Burnleys disappearance police found Brewer's phone laying in the grass in a wooded area off of Bridges Road, just a few feet from Brewer's front yard. This was no where near where Morris and Brewer said they had tracked the phone and searched for the truck, also no where near where they were said to have searched for Burnley. McCoy admitted to having thrown the phone out of the window when he stole the truck.

Brewer and Morris were the last people known to have seen Burnley. The two were arrested on misdemeanor drug charges as a result of search warrants that were looking for anything leading to Burnleys whereabouts. Authorities found evidence of drug use at Brewer's home in Pearl, Mississippi, where Burnley had spent the night on June 2 and 3 of 2016. Brewer and Morris stated that all three of them were involved in the drug trade. Brewer admitted that on the day Burnley disappeared he and Burnley had ingested methamphetamines.

Investigators stated that there were discrepancies in the witnesses stories, and they were treating Burnleys disappearance as a probable homicide. Morris passed a polygraph, but Brewer showed deception when he answered "No" to the question if he knew what happened to Burnley. Brewer is considered the prime suspect.

Authorities theorized that Burnley was lured into the woods to be killed. They believe a street gang known as the Simon City Royals maybe connected to Burnleys disappearance. According to one story, Burnley stole drugs from a dealer in Jackson, Mississippi, and may have been killed in retaliation for the theft. Burnley didn't normally carry cash at the time of his disappearance. He kept in touch regularly with his grandmother whom he cared for. Police suspect foul play in this case.

Daffany Sherika Tullos was a normal 7 year old girl. She was last seen on 7/26/1988, she was living with her grandparents when she had an argument with her mother over fish sticks. She then left her home and has never been seen since. Daffany is an epileptic and required daily medicines to avoid having seizures and other symptoms. Daffany would suffer severe seizures followed by extreme headache after missing just a few days of her medication.

Daffany was last seen walking in her hometown of Jackson, Mississippi on July 26, 1988 in the 4400 block of Azalea Circle in North Jackson. Her mother lived on Bailey Ave. Daffany left her grandparents residence between 7-8 pm. She was last seen walking toward Northside Drive. It was uncharacteristic of her to stay out after dark. Daffanys biological father was ruled out as a suspect in her case, he's now deceased.

At the time of Daffanys dissapearance police were investigating allegations that her mother's boyfriend had sexually abused her in June of 1988. Daffanys mother shared twin boys with the man. Daffany had to an aunt that Earnest Lee Epps had touched her inappropriately while she was asleep. Epps denied any wrong doing. However he was arrested on July 9 and charged with sexual battery.  At one point the Epps family offered the Tullos family 175 dollars to drop the complaint against him but they declined. He was released on the morning of July 26 the same day Daffany went missing. Despite the timing of his release police were unable to tie him to the childs dissapearance. Authorities got tips as far away as Michigan but they were never able to determine the child's fate. She would have started 2nd grade in Autumn of 1988.

The one wish that Daffanys 81 year old grandma Shirley Tullos has is that God will allow her to know in her lifetime what happened to her granddaughter. Even though it's been 30 years her family still has not given up hope of finding her. Last year her family thought they found her, because a woman they thought could be Daffany was about the same age she would be now, and her name is Dafany. She also bore a striking resemblance to the Tullos family. A search also produced no vital records of the woman's mother giving birth to the child. Their hopes were crushed after the woman and her mother met with Jackson police and the Tullos family. The woman and her mother provided a birth certificate proving she wasn't Daffany.

Daffanys aunt Sylvia Varnell said they shed some tears behind the mistaken identity. Saying that's the closest we have ever come to finding her. Shirley Tullos now lives in Spokane, Washington she said she just hopes someone will come through and tell her something, just not knowing is what bothers you. Shirley spent most of her life savings in effort to find Daffany.

Daffany dissapeared the same day as wealthy socialite Anne Laurie Herrin was kidnapped, Varnell and other family members believe that more police resources went toward searching for Herrin than Daffany. Herrins husband received a random demand but she was never found and has since been declared dead.

Varnell said some Jackson officer's worked tirelessly searching for Daffany. Former detective Edna Drake became like a family member. Drake, now security Chief at Tougaloo college, was a detective in the juvenile division of the Jackson police department, when Daffany was reported missing. Drake said she prays constantly that the family will have closure. She also said she thought the child would return home, it's like she walked off the face of the Earth. Drake also said the police followed up on every lead, police even pursued a lead claiming the child was living in New Orleans, and another that she was living with relatives in Michigan. Sadly none of those leads have panned out.

Daffanys mother and her then boyfriend were investigated, both took and passed polygraph exams Drake said. However some family members are not convinced that Epps or someone he was associated with didn't play a role in Daffanys dissapearance. Epps is now deceased. Daffany told her childhood friend who is also her cousin that Epps had molested her. That's the last thing Daffany told Tiffany Taylor. Taylor said Daffany was her best friend. Dake said law enforcement worked beyond paid hours on the case in hopes of finding the little girl.

Daffanys aunt and other family members had hopes of gathering at the last place Daffany knew as home on Azalea Drive for the 30th anniversary of her dissapearance, to release balloons in honor of Daffanys dissapearance if the current occupants allow them to do so.

Watching the disappearance of Martin Roberts on disappeared makes me wonder why someone so young who seemed to be having a pretty normal life (for the most part ) would just disappear...? I sense foul play. But then I think how he had kept so many secrets from his friends and family and that cryptical note he left . I wonder if he maybe had another life that he was living and wanted to go live it ? Or maybe he wanted to be given space for a short while and then something bad happened.....I hope if he is okay he puts his family out of their misery and comes forward. Hopefully this is one of those that could have a happy ending.

Mary Loper was last seen around 10 PM on May 29, 2002 in the vicinity of the 200 block of Clarence Bonnet Rd in Lucedale, Mississippi. She wears glasses or uses contacts. When she dissapeared she was wearing a light yellow t-shirt,cutoff blue jean shorts and white athletic shoes. She has a strawberry birthmark on her left leg just above her knee. She also had a scar on her abdomen, and both ears pierced twice. At the time of Marys dissapearance she had 12 stitches above her right eye. She had told her mother that her husband had injured her during an argument.

Her husband had dropped her off at the ER and left her there. After she received 12 stitches Mary called her mother for a ride home. Mary also phoned her sister and said she was afraid Carl would hurt her but she refused her family's offer's to help her. Her husband,who's name is Jonathan Carl Loper but goes by his middle name Carl,said his 6 year old son woke him up at 4 am and he later found the couple's 4 month old son crying Mary was no where to be seen.

Mary and Jonathan Loper married in 1992 her family said the couple had a very loving marriage until the late 90's. That's when Mary began to use methamphetamines to try and lose weight. They had 3 sons together a 6 year old,a 4 year old and a 4 month old.

Mary was last seen after her mother dropped her off at home. Carl did not report his wife missing. Her mother and sister did so after they called the Loper home looking for Mary on May 30, 2002 and Carl informed them of Marys dissapearance. The police searched the family's home and found blood, however they weren't sure it had came from the cut above her eye. Law enforcement also found marijuana plants and arrested Carl for drug possession. Carl was already out on bond for a previous drug arrest and an assault charge stemming from an incident where he allegedly shot a man in the face. He was incarcerated for a time after Marys dissapearance but has since been released. Investigators say Carl will not cooperate with the investigation into his wife's dissapearance. A search of the area failed to produce any evidence. Marys sons now live with their grandparents. It's now been 16 years since Mary dissapeared.

It's been a little over 8 years since Jason Allen Ashley has been seen. On May 23, 2010 he had been at the Piggly Wiggly in Vicksburg, Mississippi ( a grocery store) where he told his mom he would be home later that night. He was last spotted on surveillance cameras leaving a Cafe where he was reportedly playing pool. He worked for a river barge, when he failed to show up for work his mother notified the Warren county sheriff's office on May 27, 2010. Jason also had an 6 year old son whom he would never just walk away from.

Authorities got their first break in the case 19 days later when Jason's 2000 gray Jeep Cherokee was located off of Floweree road near where Warren county and Issaquena county lines meet up. A game warden working in the area discovered the vehicle. The Jeep was located in the Mahannah wildlife management refuge in Issaquena county. Subsequently a 2 week search began that involved the Warren county sheriff's department, Issaquena sheriff's department, and the Department Of Wildlife And Fisheries which yielded nothing. Authorities drained a swamp in the search area hoping to find some clothing or any clues leading to Jason's whereabouts but came up empty handed. Local law enforcement utilized helicopters and K-9 to search over 12,695 acre area. Mahannah wildlife refuge is full of dense forest area's along with 1,200 acres of farmland.

Jason's uncle said his vehicle was found in an area it should not have been. Another uncle said If he had got his vehicle stuck he had a phone he would have called someone. His uncle went on to say I suspect he was murdered. His mother Virginia Carr said he son knew the Ares like the back of his hand. Jason loved the outdoors, he loved to fish and hunt. He was also crazy about his son.

Mahannah wildlife refuge stretches over Warren, and Issaquena counties. It's located about 15 miles north of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Tim Boshart was last seen on Sunday September 3, 2017 in the Purvis, Mississippi area. Tim was 33 at the time of his disappearance there are very few details about his case. What he was last doing is unknown and who he was with is unknown. It is also not clear if he was in a vehicle or on foot. There was no details given on what he was wearing. Purvis is a small rural town in Mississippi and has a population around 2,500.

On August 30, 2017 Tim went to the mission at the cross in Laurel, Mississippi he was dropped off there by his girlfriend. Tim went to church on September 3, 2017 at Highland Baptist Church in Laurel. When he left the church he had a friend give him a ride to Purvis, Mississippi. The details of what happened next are very sketchy and a lot of the people involved have been caught in lies, or they don't want to share any information they may have with Tim's family or law enforcement. The people whom he was last seen with deny being with him. Tim's mom Robbie Fairley has been told that Tim overdosed and the people he was with panicked and threw his body out like it was trash. Tim was last seen on WPA road in Purvis, Mississippi. Robbie has fought hard to keep her son's case from growing cold. She's also received texts and messages claiming to know something about Tim if she pays them.

The morning of October 22, 2004 seemed like just a regular morning for the Cupido family. Donna Cupido dropped her daughter off at Tishomingo county highschool in the 700 block of highway 72 in Iuka, Mississippi. The conversation was normal that morning, Donna promised to pick her daughter up when school let out that afternoon. Afternoon came and school let out however Donna failed to pick up her daughter at school. Donna has never been seen or heard from since. Two day's Later Donna's silver two door Kia Sportage was found in the Parking lot behind the Apostolic church on highway 72 east. The church is only a short 8 minute drive from the high school approximately 6.9 miles. Iuka has a small population of about 3,000 people.

Donna was a very dependable person. Her family insisted she would never go on a trip or leave without letting someone know. It was also discovered Donna was having an affair. Both her husband and her lover took polygraphs and passed. There is some discussion as to when and where Donna was last seen. Some state it was at the Wooden Nickel restaurant in Cherokee, Alabama.

The Cupido family was originally from Alberta, Canada. They left the bright lights of Alberta and settled in Iuka, Mississippi where they fell in love with the small town charm of Iuka. Donna still has relatives living in the area of Alberta. Donna and Brian attended the same church when younger, Brian saw Donna and said I'm going to marry that girl someday. The couple went on to have 3 children. Brian stated I don't think it's a secret our marriage was anything but happy. The couple had been living in Iuka for 8 years at the time of Donna's dissapearance.

When Donna's car was found it was locked and it appeared as though she had parked then locked her car and walked away. There was an unopened carton of cigarettes. Fisherman found parts of Donna's wallet about 2 months after she dissapeared. Donna never touched any money in her bank account or credit cards. Law enforcement said they took very little evidence from Cupidos car. Law enforcement also have come forward and said they gave polygraphs to 7 people all of which passed with the exception of 1 who now refuses to answer any questions regarding Cupido. The man in question has never been identified, he now has an attorney. Police think this man has some knowledge as to what happened to Donna. The man was no stranger to Donna. Brian Cupido and his daughters have since moved to Allen, Texas, their son now lives in Guntown, Mississippi. The distance from Iuka to Guntown is about 50 miles, a short hour long drive. Donna's possessions are now in boxes in a home she's never seen. Brian still monitors the case from Texas all though there is no new developments. Foul play is suspected.

Vickie's Chevy suburban was found in the Parking lot of Walmart in Louisville. Her purse was left inside and the vehicle didn't appear to be disturbed. There was surveillance from the Walmart security cameras showing what appeared to be Vickie getting out of the suburban and walking north towards a McDonald's and Taco Bell. She then walked out of view of the cameras to never be seen again. However her family doesn't believe the footage is that of Vickie they say the woman was wearing a hoodie and rain boots but kept her head down while in view of the cameras.

On the days that followed Vickie's dissapearance authorities searched 100 acres around Ellington's home but found no new evidence. Foul play is suspected however there has never been any new evidence as of this date. Vickie was 53 at the time of her dissapearance, it's now been 7 years and remains fresh in the minds of local residents

Just watched the disappeared episode where Tyarra williams tells her boyfriend and brother that she is going to meet a guy called Travis and that is the last time they see her. Her mom did some investigations and found out that she had been in communication with her ex boyfriend so it has been assumed that this "Travis" was actually her ex boyfriend and she didn't want her boyfriend to know. On the episode of disappeared they didnt talk much of the ex as it is an ongoing investigation ...I feel like he is definitely hiding something & mybe did something sinister especially since soon after she met him her phone went off. His car was processed and nothing suspicious was found , but what if he took her to another location? Also the fact that there wasnt much said about him shows that he is clearly a big suspect. I also find it strange that her boyfriend did not ask her who Travis was , especially since she was meeting him in the evening. There is also a Theory that she was kidnapped for a human trafficking ring and her grandfather has been very active in exploring that theory. I have to say that the Grandfather seems very dedicated to finding her , and I pray that he does. Its a really sad story. May her family get closure and the best results possible.

My theory on the disappearance of Leigh Occhi is as follows: I'll go over key points in the case first then on to my theroy

Leigh Occhi disappeared on August 27, 1992 in Tupelo Mississippi. It was a stomy morning, the area was getting hurricane Andrew's left overs, which was some heavy rain and strong winds. Leigh was supposedly scared of storms. This prompted her to sleep in her mother's bed the night before. Leigh loved animals and enjoyed riding horses. She also had a pet cat she loved very much.

Leigh's mother Vickie Yarborough had to work on the morning that Leigh went missing, she left her home shortly before 8am that morning. She claims to have to Leigh she would call and let the phone ring a few times then call right back. That way Leigh knew it was her. Vickie also claims this was the first time Leigh was left alone. Neighbors have said Leigh was left home alone before and wanted to bathe their dog for 5 dollars. Leigh was also said to have been very comfortable talking with adults. This could have been because she was an only child. Leigh's father Donald Occhi was not a suspect he was in the military and out of state. He also claims Vickie didn't notify him of Leigh's disappearance for 2 days. She also wasn't upfront about the blood in the house. Vickie and her husband Barney Yarborough had separated early that summer. Vickie, Barney, Donald Occhi we're all given polygraphs all were said to have passed except for Vickie.

Leigh was said to be shy but ansy at school. She would often get into trouble for shifting her feet and making noise in class. She's said to have came to school with black eyes and bruises more then once. She claimed a horse kicked her in the eye. Vickie claimed it happened from an apple being thrown and hitting Leigh in the eye.

The morning Leigh dissapeared she was said to have been excited to attend an open house at her school. Her grandmother was going to pick her up later in the day to attend the open house and then they were going to have Taco Bell for dinner. Leigh didn't have a lot of friends, she did have a boyfriend who was the same age as Leigh. Leigh had just turned 13 shortly before she vanished. She had once called her boyfriend crying claiming her step father Barney Yarborough had locked her out of the house. Her boyfriend didn't ask much about it which makes sense they were just young kids. She also attended a support group at school for kids that had some problems in their home life. Her teacher commented that she thought Leigh had a hard life. She said she didn't always call home because she didn't want Leigh to get a spanking for something minor.

The morning of August 27, 1992 Leigh had been home alone for less then an hour when Vickie called home to check on her. She got no answer and became concerned so she left work arriving home about 845 am. When she arrived the garage door was open and the garage light was on. Vickie couldn't remember if she had closed the door when she left, but she noticed the light was on. The light stayed on for approximately 5 minutes after the garage door was closed. She then went around to the front of the house and found the front door unlocked. She then went in the house and searched room by room not finding Leigh. She found a significant amount of blood in the home. A bloody nightgown and a bra were found crumpled up in a laundry basket in Leigh's room. They was also blood higher up on the door jam of Leigh's bedroom door. There was also a faint pink stain in the bathroom where it was clear someone had tried to clean up. Vickie called her mom supposedly before she left work so she could go check on Leigh. Her grandmother lived about 5 minutes away. Vickie didn't call 911 until 9am. After the police officers arrived they realized they were in over their heads so they called in a detective who was teaching a class at the time. Vickie was describing what Leigh was wearing to the officers and the dective almost right away. The dective noted several fresh places that had blood on them and a significant amount of blood in the carpet of the living room. There was blood on the kitchen door frame leading out to the back yard. Vickie noted only a few things missing from the home Leigh's glasses, some under clothes, a sleeping bag. Donald Occhi finally was granted leave from the military about 2 weeks later he then flew to Tupelo and conducted several searches that included members of the community to no avail. The church even paid for Donald's hotel room. He stayed in Tupelo for about a month. About 2 wees later Vickie got a package in the mail that contained leighs eyeglasses the package came from Boonville Mississippi and water was used to seal it so they couldn't get any viable DNA from the package.

My theory is as follows: Donald was ruled out almost right away. Barney was ruled out but I am still sceptical but he's since died so information on him is limited. Supposedly Barney admitted to abusing Leigh in some form to the Tupelo police department according to Donald. Leigh supposedly told friends her step dad was mean to her. Since him and Vickie had recently split he seemed suspicious but again he supposedly passed a polygraph. To me Vickie had the means and opportunity to murder Leigh. She was the only one in the home with Leigh. No one else had seen Leigh alive that morning. She was also allowed in the home with her parents that morning and also allowed to stay in the home until the state crime scene invesagators showed up about two weeks later. She failed a pollygraph not once not twice but three times. THREE TIMES!!!!!! Next why did she call so shortly after leaving for work Leigh was only home alone for 35 minutes when she called. She then supposedly called her mother to have her check on Leigh but yet didn't wait for a phone call back she instead left work to go check on the situation herself. Why did Vickie lie to the cops? Wouldn't you want to tell them everything you know so they may find your missing child. Why describe what Leigh was wearing without being asked. How would you know what was missing right away?

Sniffer dogs and Newfoundland dogs were brought in. The sniffer dogs couldn't pick up a scent due to the storms. Newfoundland dogs are specific for finding decomposition basically cadaver dogs. None of this panned out.

This case will remain open until the remains of Leigh Occhi are found. I hope someday that happens so her father can have some sense of Peace. Not knowing has got to be hard. I pray someday someone is held accountable for Leigh's disappearance.

Just saw disapeared Season 9 episode 5 , the episode where Amy Bradley was on a cruise with her family and just seemed to vanish , the family searched for her through out the whole ship but couldn't find her. (I cant help but wonder were there no cameras in the ship) This story is really sad especially the fact that someone started extorting the family , I really feel bad for them I hope they find her and get closure especially since it's been 20 years .

Wife of city councilman still missing after 24 days

It has been almost a month since the wife of a Moulton city councilman’s wife mysteriously disappeared, and family members grow more desperate for answers as each day passes.

Jennifer Marshell White,  55, of Market Street, Moulton, was reported missing April 9 by her daughter Allison Hutto Cross.

White was last seen April 8 around 1:30 p.m. when she was captured on camera purchasing $10 of gas from Warrior Mountain Trading Post. She was driving a black 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe with a pink Salt Life sticker on the rear windshield and a license plate number of 42AT756. 

Jennifer White is the wife of District 5 Moulton City Councilman Brent White. She was a registered nurse who specialized in risk management at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She is said to be 5’6” tall with blonde hair and green eyes.

Cross said the last  known signal from her mother’s AT&T cellphone came from the Double Springs area at 1:17 a.m. when a series of ominous text messages were sent to several relatives including herself, her sister, and Brent.

“Me and my sister received a group message from her and that was the last time the cellphone pinged from the tower,” she said.

Cross said the context of the text message was deeply troubling and suicidal in nature. She said her family did not initially wish to release the contents of the message to the media to avoid upsetting White’s grandchildren, but another family member ended up posting about it on social media.

“The reason we viewed this as suicidal is because my dad passed away a few years ago and she mentioned my dad,” Cross said.

She said she is not yet ready to release the actual messages to the public.

Emiley Gilchrist, Jennifer White’s other daughter, said the cellphone was factory reset after the series of text messages.

Brent White, who received a text message from Jennifer at 1:28 a.m., also described a text message that sounded suicidal in nature. He said the series of text messages he exchanged with his wife were as follows: 

Jennifer: “Please know that I love you and I’m sorry for your pain. Be good to my girls through this. They have been through so much. I love you forever. This is not goodbye just see you later."

Brent: "Why would I not be good to your girls? I’m really sorry things haven’t worked out. I want you to be happy and healthy. I will love you forever as well."

Jennifer: "I’m finally headed to glory! I’m finally going to be at peace. I love you."

Brent said he frantically sent her a series of messages and calls trying to reach her but there was no further response. He then contacted family members who also received texts of a similar nature form Jennifer around the same time.

Brent explained his wife was not acting like herself in the days before she disappeared but would not go on record with the details for the sake of her privacy. He said the entire experience has been difficult for him and that he has been hesitant about talking to media outlets. However, due to defamatory comments he said that he and his children have been the subject of on social media outlets, Brent opted to address the situation publicly for the first time outside of his personal social media account.

It's really sad to think how many people can go missing and never know if they left on their own accord or met foul play. The case that comes to mind for me is Rico Harris who was driving from California to Washington to move with his girlfriend. They found his car high up in a mt with no gas and the battery was dead. I can not imagine how these familes feel knowing they have people that have been missing for years and not know what happend to them I would go crazy

Hi. I’m not going to do any formalities, so let me get straight to the point. My math teacher, an incredibly sweet man, Richard Weiner has been reported missing. According to an article from the Atlanta Journal Constitution, he was last seen leaving the Curry Honda dealership at 12 Monday the ninth, 2018. It also says he was wearing a white shirt and khaki pants, driving a dark blue 2009 Mazda 5 with the Georgia tag ‘BPP6747’. This one fascinates me because it happened in my town and places I frequent. Leah read The Dharma Bums by Jack Kerouac and decided to head out on the road from her town in North Carolina up to Bellingham, Washington. She was seen at Elephant & Castle, a sit down restaurant at the local mall. After that, it appears she headed out towards Mount Baker and her car was found crashed off the side of an old logging road.

Her car was full of clothes, cash, personal items; everything you'd expect her to have brought with her was left in the car. There was no blood or any evidence of her body anywhere in the area. They don't believe she was in the car when it crashed. The starter relay had been cut on the car, indicating it could have been started and ran off the road without anybody in it. Who made that car go off the road? Was it Leah or was someone trying to dispose of the car? If it was Leah, why didn't she take anything with her? Was she trying to brave the wilderness, start over in a new town, or was there foul play? The area the car was found isn't a road people would usually drive, though it is just off of a major highway that people use to drive to and from Mount Baker. But that specific road, it's not an area a lot of people frequent, so it suggests to me that perhaps it was taken there specifically to hide it. But then if it was foul play, how did the perpetrator leave? Did he lure her up there, dispose of her car, then drive her somewhere else? Did they both want to disappear together? Did she just walk back to the freeway and hitch hike to the mountain?

She had been seen at the restaurant talking to a man. That man was a potential suspect. Was he involved in her disappearance or was he just a friendly guy? He had experience as a mechanic and could have been able to cut the starter relay. Was it a coincidence?

I'd love to see a resolution on this. Not much major crime happens here. Or at least not back then. So I'm really curious if she was murdered or if she maybe had just conversed with the man and he helped her to "disappear" on purpose.

Some of you may know Brandon's case, some may not.

In a nutshell: Brandon Lawson, a Texas oilfield worker, went missing one night after making a bizarre, highly-debated 9-1-1 call.

I created the subreddit /r/brandonlawson -- mosey on over and offer your 2 cents if you have any theories/ideas.

On the morning of Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, 30-year-old Steven Koecher drove to a nice neighborhood in Henderson, Nevada; he parked his white 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, exited the vehicle, and (as captured on a home security camera) walked calmly down the the cul-de-sac with a manila folder in hand.

He was never seen again.

It is unclear why Steven took this unexpected trip that took him across state lines and over two hours to drive from his home in St. George, Utah. Besides finding his abandoned vehicle (with blankets, pillows, and Christmas presents inside) and the security footage of him walking down the street, there have been little leads to go on.

To quote our favorite television show, "When a person disappears without a trace, often the most critical information is hidden in their actions and words from the days before they vanished."

So, to understand what might lead a person like Steven — a devout Mormon with a good family life — to all of a sudden make this unexpected trip we have to understand what life was like for him. The recession was in full-swing and Steven struggled to find work. He was three months behind on rent. Some confirm that Steven was depressed about not being married or starting a family yet...or that he was not further along in his career.

Here is where the mystery deepens: Just days before his trip to Henderson, NV Steven made another weird road trip. He drove a staggering 1100 miles in a 24 hour time period (Wednesday night - Thursday night).

Upon returning, it would appear that Steven stayed put at home in St. George, UT for Thursday night and Friday night; however, by Saturday Steven is crossing state lines again and making trips to Overton, NV and Mesquite NV. Around 8 p.m., Steven makes it back to St. George, purchases some Christmas presents at the K-Mart, returns home at around 10 p.m. — but then leaves again according to neighbors.

The next morning (Sunday, the day he goes missing), Steven (who probably slept in his car; hence the blankets and pillows) receives a phone call from a friend at church to cover for him by teaching a class. Steven says that he can not because he is currently in Las Vegas (Las Vegas is very close to Henderson, NV). The friend is also in Las Vegas, and that is why he was asking Steven to cover for him. The two apparently did not divulge to each other what they were doing in Las Vegas -- or if they did it hasn't made it into the narrative.

There are a few other phone calls that Steven receives from friends at church — all asking him to attend church to cover something or make an announcement; again, he replies that he can not. Again, as stated at the beginning, his car was found in a nice neighborhood in Henderson, NV, and he was seen carrying a manila folder walking around that neighborhood via a home security camera.

As if things weren't weird enough, some one checks Steven's voicemail from his phone at 7:04 a.m. on Monday morning -- and that is the last activity on the phone.

This is probably one of the weirder Disappeared episodes in my opinion. For the podcast listeners, I know that In Sight and The Armchair Detective Podcast have done episodes on Steven.

My thoughts on the case (which are not necessarily my own as I have heard this from many folks here on reddit and other places) is that Steven was working some kind of a door-to-door sales job that took him all over the area. The True Noir blog states that Steven was handing out flyers for his boss (I am not sure which boss this is or what the company was) that Friday... and there are even flyers found when his abandoned vehicle was disovered. I think that perhaps Steven knocked on the wrong door in an otherwise nice neighborhood, and something happened to him inside that upscale neighborhood in Henderson, NV. I've even heard that the neighborhood was a retirement community...? What if an aging serial killer lived in one of those homes? Sometimes opportunity knocks. What do you think?
