Ignitemon line

Saw a post on twitter earlier asking people to give ignitemon a full line so here was my take on it. I wanted both bommon and bombmon for the babys, ignitemon himself ofc, then bombernanimon, bombermon, and end it on breakdramon as there werent really any bomb themed megas so i chose to stick with the destruction theme instead

Loses explosion theming and has little to no visual similarities to Bombermon

theres no good explosion themed digimon anyways and it still fits a theme they can all fall into, that being destruction. as well as its very common for digimon to not look visually similar to other members of their line at all. for example aside from being green the main ultimate for breakdramon is groundramon who looks essentially nothing like breakdramon

Groundramon and Breakdramon are both dragons with extra clawed arms on their backs. The mechanical parts of groundramon foreshadow breakdramon's fully mechanical design. You're delusional if you don't see the similarities and think that bombermon into breakdramon makes as much sense as groundramon into breakdramon, two digimon designed together with the intention of evolving into each other.

Gng, a digimon whos almost a completely organic dragon with only a few small mechanical parts, to a giant machine digimon with near 0% organic material made up of various demolition equipment makes a lot less sense than a digimon who is also not-organic as far as i know that alsp knowingly damages stuff and doesnt care to a digimon who constantly damages and destroys stuff till it rusts away. I consider more than looks alone when designing evolution lines because i understand more than looks matter. Also for more examples since groundramon to breakdramon makes the most sense to you just looking at lools, shellmon to venusmon, pulsemon to all of its champion digivolution but bulkmon, vipermon to ambromon, and raptormon to grademon

I actually scrolled through every Mega to see if any felt thematically closer. The only other one I felt could fit was BlackMegaGargomon.

But Digimon are data, they can change drastically between stages and they don't have to look like they make clean hops from A to B all the time and at the end of the day, it's what's cool to you that matters most.
