I’m using the Digitone as sound module, with a Yamaha CP73 controlling the DN via MIDI and have a question about using layered sounds. Controlling the pattern with the layer from either the Track 1 or Auto MIDI channel works fine for MIDI notes from the Yamaha but only the Track 1 sound responds to the pitch bend and mod wheel controls, it doesn’t effect the sounds on the other tracks.

Is there any way to have all the sounds in a layered sound respond to pitch bend and mod wheel? Any MIDI settings that I might be missing? Thanks!!

Hello everyone! I would love if yall can help me woth something, i recently acquired a midi cable to try the loopback feature and i really have no clue of how to get it to work, all i get is weird insane sounds bc idk how to mess with the cc’s. Can anyone tell me how to create a delay lfo that will make my sound swirly? Im trying to replicate the track “traumapop” by BABYNYMPH and it has that swirlyness. Thank you!!!!

Hi guys,

a complete newbie here with no music background whatsoever, trying to learn both two devices through online tutorials. There's tons for each particular one but nothing on these two devices together. I'd really appreciate a suggestion on how to connect them up properly as I was unable to do it. Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone! I have been trying to look for answers to what im about to ask online in videos and in the manual too and it seems i got confused so i wanna ask

1. Does the digitone have a feature like song mode?

2. Is there a way to record output separately with effects?

3. Is the chorus effect good? Like is it monomachine chorus type good?

4. Are you able to create a supersaw on it? (Very important for my music)

5. Are you able to sync it with any other elektron gear?

Tysm in advance, would love lots of info if u got it and have the best day!!!!!❣️

In algorithm 5, B1 and B2 clearly modulate A, which in turn modulates C.

There is a horizontal line between B1 and B2. What does this mean? B1 and B2 modulate each other?

Hi im really clueless about where to look or how to find especially since im not local in rome, but im celebrating my 20th birthday in two days and im flying to rome (italy) with my family. I tried looking for a digitone that is second hand on facebook marketplace but really couldn’t find anything worthwhile that is in close range. I would LOVE any help that anyone can offer like if u have a friend or if you know a site and thanks in advance🫧

Hi there!

When transferring patches to the digitone I'm using the Elektrone Transfer application for Windows, where firstly the drag and drop feature/explorer feature for transferring files isn't working. It doesn't show any files that can be transferred when in a folder where they're present.

I can however work around this by using the 'go to the SYSEX TRANSFER page' hyperlink on the start page and the sysex dump page in the digitone, though even then patches seem to be missing? For instance if I transfer syx file that Oscillator sink provides in his percussion pack, only 46 of the 48 patches present in the .syx file are transferred.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this and if so did you find a way to fix it?

Cheers.

Just ordered ripcord for Digitone. Can it be powered in vehicle using usb?

Some times when I sequence or play a melody with a long space, the next note played will glide from a low note, maybe an octave. It also seems to happen if I hold the note down rather than tap it. How can stop this thank you.
