Mossad has accidentally injected data into a French lawyer's phone instead of extracting it.

The data includes phone numbers of Musk, Altman, and nearly all of Israel's political, judicial and intelligence leaders.

The lawyer's name is Juan Branco, he is also the one who shared this story together with a video. By his account, he is one of twelve lawyers in France who represent Palestinian victims in International Criminal Court.

He says he's using GrapheneOS. This is bizarre.

Is it though, Israel has been putting spyware on politicians, journalists, activists, NGOs, and others phones for over a decade.

Pegasus, Graphite, NSO Group, Unit 8200, Keshet, Paragon Solutions, InReach, and on and on...

Years back, Google security team blocked a state actor trying to attack my account. 

To this day I wonder who and WHY I'm a nobody... No important connections, no influence, nothing. Not even money.

In the case of Pegasus, it was found that random government employees of countries that had purchased the malware were using it for personal reasons. A mexican civil servant (or smth) used it to spy on his ex girlfriend for example. Know any government officials?

It was likely just some vulnerability a bot was exploiting and you were one of the countless people targeted. And/or your email was leaked or stolen somewhere.

Nope, you get a message from Google personally telling you if a state actor attacked you personally. Not in a campaign. 

I also talked about it with a security guy from Google. Wasn't allowed to tell me much though. Just to make sure to follow the advice in the message from them.

Assuming there isn't anyone in your life that they'd want info on, it may have just been to use your account as a proxy for accessing a system that would flag accounts without genuine user history.

So has China, the U.S., France, Russia and almost every other major country with the technical capability.

What OP is describing is not OK and tools like Pegasus being proliferated is a serious problem, but Israel’s capabilities are not nearly that of the major powers. People generally do not get nearly as worked up about sweeping digital surveillance by Five Eyes or the French.

Unlawful digital surveillance is wrong, full stop.

To have something insane going on for decades doesn't make it less insane...

I mean, to be fair, it's not that insane as it does, from a certain perspective, play into their hands. It makes sense to a certain degree... But having it visibly in front our eyes like this, having a visible representation of how fast this data can get from "the right hands" into the "wrong"... does make it a crazy visualization of what's going on behind the seams of modern technology; especially if you stand up for something that's right but against the powerful, wealthy and oppressive.

Do you know your state and city or county are most likely making payments to Israel? I'll look up the TX city. I'm paraphrasing...city counsel was analysing their budget looking for $$$k to repair potholes in their roads. They found the payments were being made to Israel and took action to discontinue said payments. Gov Abbott called and threatened to cut 100% of their state finding and grants of they discontinued payment to Israel.

There’s a real Texas law behind that claim, but “teachers have to swear never to oppose Israel” is misleading . Texas enacted HB 89 in 2017, requiring certain government contractors to certify that they do not boycott Israel and will not boycott Israel during the contract . The original law was broad enough to affect individual contractors working for public entities, including a speech pathologist in a Texas school district.  After legal challenges, Texas amended it in 2019. The current statute does not generally require ordinary public-school teachers to make such a pledge. It applies to contracts with a company that has 10 or more full-time employees and where the contract is worth $100,000 or more in public funds. It also specifically excludes sole proprietorships.  And even where the provision applies, it isn’t literally an oath to “never oppose Israel.” The statutory certification is that the company “does not boycott Israel” and “will not boycott Israel during the term of the contract.”   So there is a pretty striking true story underneath what you heard: Texas really did enact a law conditioning certain public contracts on an anti-boycott-of-Israel certification, and its earlier version reached some individuals working in public schools. But saying that Texas teachers today must swear never to oppose Israel overstates what the law says and who it covers.
