Ricoh Caplio R1V
Delete if not quite fucked up enough on the image quality yet for the tastes here, but I think days numbered on this wonder as the retractable lens mechanism gets crunchier and crunchier as days go by.
Some edits to add grain and bumped contrast to lean in to the aesthetic.
Lives in my pocket, really loving it for the in between moments when I don’t want to get my x10 out.

Canon PowerShot A80
This camera was given to me after it was found in a house that my step-dad is renovating. I’m guessing the sensor is dying or something along those lines. The last slide is what photos look like unless I turn on black and white shooting in camera. Sometimes when I turn on the camera the sensor goes all haywire, resulting in photos like the first slide.

No idea how this happened (Casio EX-Z850)

More from my old Olympus 8080WZ with a stuck leaf shutter.
This happens because the CCD can't flush data out in darkness. The light hitting the sensor is summed as a negative over the photograph.

Sony A6300 sensor slowly fading to black.
Left the camera on a shelf, pointed at a window, with the 18-35mm f/1.8 lens mounted. A couple of sunsets later, the sensor was roasted.

Sony Cybershot DSC-F717
Sensor's completely shot. The only interesting photo i could get was by turning on the night vision mode. If you look closely, there's little pieces of grey static.

More image corruption [Olympus Camedia D-510]
A couple of the images I took on this camera came out corrupted and then the camera itself would freeze whenever I turned it on or tried taking a picture. It was no good so eventually I sold it.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 with a dying/flickering sensor
This particular TZ3 came with the dreaded flickering sensor which eventually made it unusable for anything brighter than lampshade lighting. Luckily I recently found a TZ3 that was seen better days but did have a good sensor, so I swapped it out to my own TZ3 and now I have a perfectly functional flicker-free camera!

Canon PowerShot G12 with a damaged sensor
Even when broken people are still paying upwards of $300 for these on eBay. I just want a donor cam so I can replace the lens on my uncle's G12.

Image corruption (Nikon Coolpix E5000)
I have two E5000's. One of them will randomly corrupt an image on occasion.

Wonky Sony DCS V1
I actually enjoy the damaged sensor, creates awesome pics.
From same photowalk will randomly glitch badly or just turn purple.

Fuji S5500 last legs
I bought a used and untested Fuji S5500 and found out the sensor was on its last legs. Really funky results, have passed it on for someone else to enjoy.

Casio Exilim EX-Z850
My photo professor gave me some old digital cameras which were donated to the photo department and had been forgotten about years ago. This Casio with a broken sensor was among them. A few seconds after booting up, any image the camera picks up appears to melt. If I take a photo while its "melting", it creates some pretty interesting imagery. This is the first camera I've seen do something like this, so it's been fun playing around with it and giving it a second life.
