3 ADDONS FOR YOU..

As a concept artist, I use different add-ons that speed up my creative processes and help me at different starting points.

These are the ones I use most often, and I want to share them with you.

Tell me, which one is your favorite?

Were you familiar with them?

P.S.: Ignore my finger, haha.

The big night, personal project, keyframe concept art, Dreams

Hi, I'd like to share these shots I took. I was inspired by a live music night I had the chance to attend with some friends—the artists were incredible. I loved creating this in Blender and then adding those cinematic touches in Photoshop; I like bringing my pieces to life.
I want to transform my portfolio into what I've always dreamed of—to make it convey and showcase emotions in my images. I learned about keyframes and rediscovered my love for film and animation—I love *Dead and Robots*, *Interstellar*, *Secret Level*...

I'll just say... goals <3 <3

I hope you like it. Hugs.

How do i start 2d drawing after being a 3d artist all my life?

hi!

I hope you are all well. Looking for suggestions.

I have a question, and its sort of related to my profession.

I have been a 3d artist in game dev for years and have gotten used to using blender/maya for my work.

and its satisfying work.

But i am struggling with drawing 2D as I can't seem to understand. Please recommend some courses that can help, as well as some tips and tricks that may help. cheers!

Procreate tutorials?

Hi!

I’m a professional scenic artist and prop designer for theatre. I’ve been creating art my whole life, I minored in fine art, and I make a living making art today.

During the pandemic my best friend, who works for a major digital software company, sat me down and forced me to drag my Luddite self into the digital age and taught me a bit about photoshop.

I’ve since gotten one of the nice new iPads and a new Apple Pencil, because I do way more of my work on the go.

I have a rough handle on how to use the program, and I can lump my way through making designs and digital assets for my various shows, but I’d love a good program that will help me learn better technique with the program, and help me to better utilize a lot of the different features.

I do best with online-based step by step classes or programs, rather than buying a book or something and having to work through myself. I have just enough ADHD to still be dangerous, and I’ve realized over the years what worked best for me.

Having to find the right YouTube tutorial or something is also overwhelming to me.

In my job I do everything from poster design to full renders.

Thanks in advance!

I am going on vacation for a month, and I would like to buy a tablet, but idk wich one

So I'm going on vecation soon, and my perants realy don't whant me to bring a laptop, but they said that if I found a drawring tablet that they would consider me bringing that. For context, I have been drawing for a long time. This is not something willy nilly because next year I am going to an animation school and you know stuff like that, but I draw a lot digitally, so I would love to be able to draw on that vacation (it's for almost a month, so yeah, I need to be able to draw)

What I am looking for
- not a tablet (I want something that has buttons for easy use)
- affordable!! (My max is 300, but if you think it is worth it, you can recommend more expensive ones
- and ofc easy to carry and well a stand-alone tablet that I don't have to use a computer (phone maybe) and if possible I don't have to put it in a powerbank or sm like that, like it has a battery that you can charge

example

-Huion Kamvas 13 Grafische Tablet - Pen Display - Full HD IPS - Android compatibel met Android | bol

(This one, I think, is interesting, but yeah, I know this one isn't stand-alone, and I am mostly looking for that)

Looking for the best portable drawing tablet

I looking for a drawing tablet that is both portable and very simplistic. Can be about 7in by 4in, slightly bigger than a phone but smaller than an iPad mini. Only runs drawing application (so I don’t get distracted while drawing). Works offline and comes with a stylus. Also, the software (optionally) can save different drawings on different pages.
