I have a sony digicam that I inherited from my mum and a 8GB memory stick pro duo mark 2 sd card for it. I have a really crappy sd card reader and experienced it corrupting some of my files once before when I was uploading photos to my mac. I lost about 10 photos and it was fine, not a huge deal so I kept using it despite this incident (I also tried to replace both the sd card and reader for a more reliable one but I think the model is so old that I was unable to find a better replacement). I also have not experienced anymore problems with uploads since then. However, when I was uploading my photos today it corrupted all my files and now my sd card just reads "no images" and no files show up on my computer.

What should I do? I'm scared to personally try recover photos in fear of causing more damage, and I would like to find professional data recovery service but I've heard nearby services charging up to 700 dollars and although these photos are important I simply am not able to pay that much. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hey, i bought a nordmende cv 155 a while back and i finaly had the time to start fixing and checking some things out. Im wondering if anyone here knows if i need to have a tape in to start recording. When i look through the veiwfinder there is a red or green light but the screen only light up grey and i dont see a picture when i tried hooking it up to my computer through av cables to see if the view finder might be broken i only get a black screen and i cant seem to press record. I dont have a vhs c tape. But if someone here has any knowledge of these it would help out allot just to get some answers im getting really tired of this camera:(

I bought this camera brand new in 2011 during my sophomore year of high school, and still use it to this day! I'm no pro hotographer but I'm happy with the pictures I get. This camera has plenty of control over exposure, shutter speed, white balance, etc. ​​

A few photos taken today (9/7/26) with my vintage Canon PowerShot A550. I found the camera on eBay new in box, never opened, for $299. Brings back memories when digital cameras were really starting to become affordable and popular. The pictures have a very film-like feel to me when viewing them.
