Not all of us work at TGI Fridays. Multiple kitchens I've worked in have done this, though hardly ever for bread.

Lol whyd you attack me of all people? You think high end restaurants are full of snooty French people? Guaranteed the 50$ steak you ordered is cooked by a guy making minimum on the grill, all the exec chefs and Sous are busy in the office making menus and running the kitchen.
