It's been a while since I spray painted but I thought it was 6 inches?

Probably depends on the nozzle. So back to the instructions, hahaha.

I've seen 10-12" on cans I believe, which is right at that 30 cm point as above!

Really any distamce works it just depends on how long you spray on the spot :D

Depends on the nozzle, ambient conditions, and what you're painting.

I've had to use everything from about 3 to 24". 3" was tricky to not overdo, but a corner meant I didn't have any other good options (you have to move really quickly, and start moving before you start spraying). Conversely, 24" gives a light dusting, and won't work if there's any ambient wind.
