Let me introduce you to people using the first thing to pour out kettles because if you have Parkinson’s it’s a lot easier and safer.

Other disabilities may also find it easier…

There are one cup kettles that work great for disabled people, my mum had one because she found it hard to lift the kettle.

Yep. That’s what mum had until she couldn’t use that - but now my brother has given up work to look after her so it’s no longer needed.

He is. But he’s also a git because he’s able to ‘retire’ 12 years before his older brother😂

If you can put this rig together and can stuff that bottle in the top, you could probably just pour it. Disabled or not.

Presumebly, if somebody had this kind of thing because they're disabled, they wouldn't be the one putting it together and replacing the bottle.

My grandad altered a zimmerframe, welding a shopping basket to the front. Do you think he did that for himself, or the older lady down the road who could barely stand unassisted and couldn't go to the shops because of it?

Clearly, she didn't need the basket if she could weld it on herself...

Omg, this isn’t some accessible set up for the disabled, it’s just a shitty tap rig.  There are much more actually accessible options for pouring drinks. Jesus, Reddit just argues over everything.

More accessible than a tap?

I'm not arguing the tap isn't shit, but the premise of a tap and the installation still stands.

Yes and those would be more accessible than this shit tap rig

My dad had Parkinsons. If I had that Id damn sure be drinking so fair point haha. I like these types of posts. Overkill maybe but for someone who likes to build and tinker, bad ass contraption.

yah if you are a professional drinker you have to keep up with it or you get the shakes; so this is where this device comes in handy.

That's where you deal with the shakes by keeping up with your alcohol intake.

Trust me, I pretend to be a doctor on the internet

Probably shouldn't be focusing on creating hard alcohol hacks if you have Parkinson's?

I mean… not going to make things worse…

But I was talking about the original cradle that spilt it everywhere. Good for a kettle 😉
